Guests and release date revealed for second season of Meghan's lifestyle show
Netflix has released a trailer for season two of the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle show – a day after the Sussexes announced a watered-down deal with the streaming giant. The teaser, which Meghan also shared on her Instagram, revealed that the next instalment of With Love, Meghan will air in two weeks' time on August 26. Among the celebrity guests joining the former Suits star during the eight episodes will be US model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen and Queer Eye star Tan France, as well as podcaster Jay Shetty and his cookbook author wife Radhi Devlukia. Also appearing will be chefs Samin Nosrat, Clare Smyth, Christina Tosi, Jose Andres and David Chang, and Meghan's close friends, pilates instructor Heather Dorak and make up artist Daniel Martin. The trailer, to the soundtrack of Bobby Day's upbeat Rockin' Robin, showed Meghan cooking, baking and crafting with her celebrity friends and saying: 'I love the idea of just spending time together … and finding new ways to show people you care.' She adds while being shown wrapping a gift: 'There are easy ways to show up, lovingly.' Meghan also reveals the Duke of Sussex is not a fan of lobster. She tells Andres as they prepare a dish together: 'Do you know who doesn't like lobster? My husband,' with the chef replying, prompting laughter from Meghan: 'And you marry (sic) him?' On Monday, Harry and Meghan announced a 'multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects', in contrast to their reported 100 million dollar (£74 million) contract five years ago. PR and crisis expert Mark Borkowski described it as a 'downgrade', and suggested Netflix was 'pivoting away' from Harry and Meghan. Season one of With Love, Meghan was savaged by critics. One review in The Guardian described it as a 'gormless lifestyle filler' and 'so pointless it might be the Sussexes' last TV show'. The series has a 3.2 rating out of 10 on Netflix said at the time that the second season had already finished filming. The duchess officially launched her lifestyle brand As Ever, in which Netflix is a partner, just hours after season one premiered in March. She has gone on to sell jam, pre-made baking mixes, herbal tea and rose wine – as well as flower sprinkles, which she heavily promoted during the programme and which are also seen being used in the new trailer.

WATCH: Meghan Markle Cooking Show Drops S2 Trailer After Deal Renewed
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Meghan Markle has dropped the trailer for season two of her Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan a day after announcing she has signed a new multi-year deal with the streamer. In the video, released Tuesday, Meghan says: "I love the idea of spending time together and finding new ways to show people you care." The trailer was posted to Netflix's official X account with the message: "The best moments are made to be shared ✨ With Love, Meghan returns on August 26th!" Why It Matters Meghan and Netflix jointly announced their new five-year deal on Monday after reports the Sussexes were going to be axed. The new "first look deal" gives Netflix first refusal on projects but does not guarantee them the sky high sums they got first time around, so all eyes will be on how season two performs and whether it leads to season three getting commissioned. The best moments are made to be shared ✨ With Love, Meghan returns on August 26th! — Netflix (@netflix) August 12, 2025 What to Know Meghan and Prince Harry first signed to Netflix in September 2020 for five years in a mega bucks deal that appeared to secure their financial future after quitting the palace earlier that year. Their first show, a biopic retelling the story of their exit from the palace, was a ratings hit but sparked major controversy due to swipes at Harry's family. Meghan Markle smiles during filming of the first season of With Love, Meghan wihich dropped on Netflix in March 2025. COURTESY OF NETFLIX Since then, their projects have not drawn the same sky high ratings, and With Love season one got brutal reviews. The Sun and People had both reported the deal would not be renewed, but the duchess got one over on the media when she signed a new "first look deal" announced on Monday. The contract means Netflix has first refusal on projects Meghan and Harry pitch but are not obliged to pay them the major yearly sums dished out during the original five-year deal. It will give Netflix the option to significantly reduce the cost of its partnership with Harry and Meghan without terminating the relationship altogether. And that's important for both sides because Netflix is an equity partner in Meghan's lifestyle business As Ever, where she sells jams, flower sprinkles, other produce and more recently wine. That means it takes a cut of her profits. More than that though, Ted Sarandos, Netflix co-CEO, said in March the company is using As Ever as a "discovery model," suggesting it is a test case with lessons learned rolled out across other shows. "We're a passive partner in Meghan's company, and it's a big discovery model for us right now," he told Variety in March. Had they axed the TV deal, they would have dealt a reputational hammer blow to a lifestyle business the success of which they have invested in substantially. It's also hugely important for the Sussexes reputationally after their Spotify multi-year deal fell apart, with executive Bill Simmons firing a parting shot, calling them "f****** grifters." What People Are Saying Meghan said in a statement released to Newsweek Monday: "We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand." "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision." Nick Ede, U.K. brand and culture expert, told Newsweek in July that a first look deal would be the best option for both sides: "They've invested a lot into that so they will want to see a return, a massive return. My gut feeling is they will do a first look deal with her." "They will look at the numbers for the new season and see if that does relate to sales, because that's what this is really about. People aren't going to subscribe to Netflix to watch the next Meghan show, so that's done for them from that point of view." What Happens Next Meghan and Netflix on Monday also announced With Love is preparing a festive special due to be broadcast in December. Fans and critics alike will also be keeping a close eye on reviews of the show and whether it does any better than season one. Jack Royston is chief royal correspondent for Newsweek, based in London. Fox News' Gutfeld delivers massive ratings boost to Fallon's ‘Tonight Show' with cross-network appearance
Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld's first appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" last Thursday delivered the program's largest audience of the year. The "Gutfeld!" namesake joined Fallon from the iconic Studio 6B in Rockefeller Center, a stone's throw from FOX News Media's New York City headquarters in Manhattan. Gutfeld's appearance drew 1.7 million viewers, marking the highest-rated "Tonight Show" of 2025 and giving the program a 57% increase compared to its year-to-date average of 1.1 million viewers, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. Gutfeld's appearance on NBC's late-night show also attracted 294,000 viewers aged 25-54, the demographic most coveted by advertisers, for a 13% increase from 2025 average. Additionally, Gutfeld's interview was last week's most-watched guest segment on the YouTube channel of "The Tonight Show." During the crossover event, Gutfeld revealed how he first met the fellow late-night host. After giving Fallon a warm embrace, Gutfeld quipped that it "brought back memories." "This is hilarious — we've met before," Fallon began. "Yes, you have no memory of it," Gutfeld responded. "Which is understandable, because we were wasted." The "Gutfeld!" host said their encounter took place at an "illegal speakeasy" in Hell's Kitchen roughly 15 years ago owned by their mutual friend Tracy, saying the inside looked "like a place where special ops forces waterboard terrorists." "You're not making this up. I totally know what you're talking about," Fallon interjected as his memory was coming back to him. "I think I remember bringing beer into the bar, and then him charging me for my own beer." "That's Tracy. He's very cheap, but if you want somebody dead, he'll do it," Gutfeld joked. Gutfeld then said he and Fallon saw each other, and the latter's eyes lit up. "And you run towards me, and you tackle me, like you're a giant golden retriever," Gutfeld recalled. "You're like on top of me. And so we're wrestling. We're wrestling. And then you change, and you start wrestling my buddy Andy, and you're wrestling him. And you guys get on the ground. You guys are now on the ground wrestling." "What?!" Fallon reacted in disbelief. "Yes," Gutfeld told him. "So, I pull out a cigarette. I light a cigarette, and I'm smoking it, and you stop, and you come over to me, and you grab it, and you crinkle it, and you go, 'These things will kill you!' and you threw it. And then I go, 'Dude, I'm not rich. You're rich.' Cigarettes are expensive in New York City. I yell, and all of a sudden, your face changed, and you looked sad, and then you left." But, Gutfeld revealed, Fallon returned with a fresh pack just five minutes later and handed it to his future guest. "I go, 'That was really sweet. You want me to die,'" Gutfeld said, as Fallon and the audience laughed. "I'm sorry I tackled you," Fallon said later with a grin. "It was all very good-natured, and it was a great memory," Gutfeld told the NBC host. "And I'm so glad I finally got to tell you!" "I'm so happy," Fallon replied. "That's a true story… I remember. All the details you said are correct." Gutfeld and Fallon also discussed his FOX Nation game show, "What Did I Miss?", where contestants who've been isolated for months try to pick real news from fake news. "Gutfeld!" was guest-hosted by Kat Timpf and continued its dominance on Thursday, finishing the night with the largest audience in late night across the board, with 2.7 million total viewers. Fox News Channel's "Gutfeld!" is the most-watched late-night program on television and regularly outdraws late-night offerings on NBC, CBS and ABC. Gutfeld is also co-host of "The Five," alongside Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr., which finished July as the most-watched cable news program in America.
