Report – Inter Milan Set To Rival Man Utd & Newcastle For Feyenoord Captain
According to English outlet TEAMtalk via FCInter1908, Cristian Chivu's men are 'carefully evaluating' the Dutchman's profile.
Quinten's twin brother Jurrien is already an established Premier League star. Indeed, he swapped Ajax for Arsenal in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Ajax academy graduate could follow in his brother's footsteps and grace English football.
However, Inter could prevent that from happening.
Inter's quest for a new midfielder is well-documented.
With Hakan Calhanoglu and Kristjan Asllani set to leave, the Italians are keen to add to their engine room.
Despite their genuine interest in Ederson, Atalanta's asking price is out of Inter's reach.
Therefore, they're in the market for alternatives, with Timber emerging as a potential option.
Indeed, Timber has entered the final year of his contract at De Kuip.
As such, he could be available in a cut-price deal, even though the Rotterdam club still hopes to extend his stay.

Report – Inter Milan Eyeing Up Roma Midfielder As Talks For Atalanta Talisman Stall
Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Roma midfieleder Manu Kone with talks for Ademola Lookman at a standstill. This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri may change their strategy if they're unable to sign Lookman. Inter Milan have been trying to sign for a better part of a month now. However, as Sky Sport Italia note, there have been no contacts between the Nerazzurri and Atalanta for a week now. Therefore, Inter now feel that their pursuit of Lookman has completely stalled. Inter Eye Up Roma Midfielder Kone As Lookman Pursuit Stalls LECCE, ITALY – MARCH 29: Manu Kone of AS Roma celebrates the victory after the Serie A match between Lecce and AS Roma at Stadio Via del Mare on March 29, 2025 in Lecce, Italy. (Photo by) In the meantime, Inter are considering a change in strategy, reports Sky Sport Italia. The Nerazzurri have been very happy with the performances by Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito in training. Furthermore, Inter have plenty of midfielders who can play in an attacking midfield role. These include Davide Frattesi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Piotr Zielinski, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Nicola Zalewski. Therefore, Inter may well have enough options to fill the attacking position in Cristian Chivu's 3-4-2-1 formation. On the other hand, there are persistent doubts about whether the Nerazzurri have enough defensive steel and athleticism in holding midfield. Therefore, reports Sky Sport Italia, Inter could instead shift gears to target Roma midfielder Manu Kone.

Former Naperville North star Luke Williams tries to be ‘best version of myself' after transfer to Austin Peay
Luke Williams could see the proverbial writing on the wall, and he didn't like what it was telling him. After redshirting his freshman season at Purdue, the former Naperville North star did what thousands of college athletes are doing. He entered the transfer portal. 'It definitely was tough just knowing that Purdue was getting a new coaching staff and obviously they would be evaluating different things,' Williams said. 'I just felt like I needed to find somewhere where I would grow.' Williams, a safety, quickly found his place, committing to Austin Peay State on May 1. He also had contact with SMU, Sam Houston and Washington State, which was interested in him playing receiver. 'It definitely was tough just getting a new change of scenery down here in the South,' Williams said, referring to the campus in Clarksville, Tennessee. 'The weather is a lot different down here, but you get used to it.' Indeed, Williams is fitting in nicely in his new surroundings. He arrived on campus June 1, took an English class over the summer and is training daily with his teammates. 'I like the people down here,' he said. 'Everybody has welcomed me with open arms. Everybody wanted to talk, get to know each other, so I feel like it's coming along great. 'Just being with each other every day all day, it builds great team chemistry.' Chemistry is vital to any team but is especially hard to build when there is so much player movement. Williams, who was the Naperville Sun player of the year in both football and basketball as a senior at Naperville North, is one of many athletes who have transferred. 'These kids move around pretty quick,' Naperville North football coach Sean Drendel said. 'They're all trying to find opportunities to get on the field, and if you're a starter, the team is constantly trying to find someone who's better than you. 'If you're not mentally and physically strong, it's a tough industry, and I'm super proud of how Luke Williams has handled it.' Ultimately, the opportunity to play outweighed the prestige of the institution for Williams. 'He goes, 'I want to go somewhere I can play,' and it wasn't about going back to another Big Ten school,' Drendel said. 'It was about 'I want to play and prove people wrong.'' Doing so required Williams to leave his older brother Zeke, who is a cornerback at Purdue. Zeke Williams also transferred after his freshman year, but he went in the opposite direction. After redshirting at Northern Illinois, he moved from the Mid-American Conference to the Big Ten and has appeared in four games over the past two seasons for the Boilermakers. Luke Williams moved from the Big Ten to the United Athletic Conference, but not before getting some advice from his brother. 'He just said, 'Keep your head up,'' Luke Williams said. 'Obviously, during camp there are days where you're tired, but just keep your head up and keep growing no matter what. 'I'm getting in my Bible, being coachable and trying to be the best version of myself that I can be.' The Governors open the season at Middle Tennessee State on Aug. 30. Williams doesn't know whether he'll see any action. 'They haven't really discussed any of that yet,' he said. 'We're just going through the trials and tribulations of it right now, so just getting out there and just playing football. That's what we're doing right now.' But Drendel is confident Williams will see plenty of playing time. 'He'll get his chance there, and I believe ultimately he may get his chance somewhere else after there,' Drendel said. 'That's happening a lot.' It's possible that Williams will transfer somewhere else in the future. But he's staying in the present. 'I'm just going to take it a year at a time, just being where my feet are right now, having this opportunity to play college football,' he said. 'Austin Peay is a great opportunity, so I'm just taking it a day at a time.' And Williams is enjoying each one. 'You can't get closer as a team than at football,' he said. 'You see each other every day, all day. We go bowling. It doesn't get much better.'

10-year-old prodigy becomes youngest female to defeat a chess grandmaster
A 10-year-old British girl is full of shocking moves, landing her a spot at the top of the chess world in a historic turn of events this week. Bodhana Sivanandan became the youngest female player to ever defeat a chess grandmaster this weekend at the 2025 British Chess Championships in Liverpool. Bodhana beat Peter Wells, 60, at the competition's final on Sunday. She's about six months younger than the American who previously held the record in 2019, according to the International Chess Federation. Bodhana is now considered an international master of the game, just one rung below grandmaster. Bodhana's incredible chess skills have been making headlines for a few years. At just 8 years old, she was named the best female player at the European Blitz Chess Championship in Croatia. The following year, she became the youngest person ever to represent England internationally, according to Sky News. Lawrence Trent, an English chess master, described Bodhana as "one of the greatest talents I've witnessed in recent memory." Bodhana told the BBC last year that she began playing when she was 5 during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. A chess set was among a bunch of toys and games a father's friend gave them before returning to India, she said. "I wanted to use the pieces as toys," Bodhana said. "Instead, my dad said that I could play the game, and then I started from there." Chess, which is recognized as a sport by the International Olympic Committee, is no stranger to young prodigies. Last year, 8-year-old Ashwath Kaushik became the youngest player ever to defeat a grandmaster.
