TRANSFER RUMOURS: Broadhead looks set to sign for Wrexham
Sky Sports have revealed that a deal worth £10m - a club-record fee for Wrexham - is set to be finalised, with Broadhead on his way to North Wales to undergo a medical and finalise the paperwork on his move.
Broadhead featured in Ipswich's final pre-season game against Auxerre and against Birmingham City in last Friday's Championship opener, which finished 1-1.
However, manager Kieran McKenna revealed that he dropped out of the squad to face Bromley in Tuesday's League Cup clash due to illness.
Broadhead, who moved to Everton after spending time in Wrexham's Academy, is coming into the final year of his contract at Ipswich.
Ipswich were reluctant to sell Broadhead, 27, but the arrival of Chuba Akpom from Ajax has paved the way for the move.

Dane Murray celebrates contract with goal as Celtic ease past Falkirk
The 22-year-old defender headed home Celtic's third goal of the second-round clash at Parkhead. Murray, who has already overcome two separate cruciate ligament injuries in his career, earlier signed a new deal that keeps him at the club until 2028.
