Ndlovu said he has been working on this mixtape since March last year. His passion for rap led him into music production in 2017, when he recorded his first-ever (unreleased) song using only his phone.
'I felt alive when I recorded it, not even aware of my capabilities and future in music,' he said.
He draws inspiration from artists such as Zakwe, MT Vernacular MC and Eminem, who have all influenced him as a songwriter.
One of his early achievements includes airplay on Ligwalagwala FM.

King Monada gears up to go global after signing with Sony Music
King Monada is gearing up to make global moves after signing with Sony Music. The lekompo superstar, who has been making waves throughout Mzansi, especially Limpopo, travelled to Johannesburg to sign a licensing deal with the record label. 'I wanted to make changes. I can't keep releasing music through the channels we're used to. We've had a lot of support, but it's difficult to reach other countries with our music. I trust Sony to do more than I've done for my career. I've been able to take it this far, so that's why I decided to sign with Sony,' the musician told TshisaLIVE. King Monada, real name Khutso Kgatla, was also gifted with a golden plaque for his hit song Lemenemene, which has garnered 12-million views on YouTube and 31,816 units in total. While he has many hits under his belt, he is showing no signs of stopping. He said his fans can expect more hits from his upcoming album, which he will be dropping soon. King Monada has a way of shedding light on matters that affect a lot of people in a humorous way. This time round though he took a different approach by exploring depression. 'When I make music, I don't sit down and write music based on something I can relate to. I'm just trying to be creative. I just want something different that I haven't done before. If we check titles that have to do with depression, you'd find that it's mostly hip hop or other genres and not lekompo. 'I'm always trying to be creative. My approach to making music and touching lives is using humour. So I talk about something serious but in a funny way. I know there are things that people go through, but there's no way to express it in a funny way. I wanted to come up with something where I can talk about their life experiences but in a humorous way.' Having signed to Sony Music, King Monada said he is hoping to collaborate with international artists and take the lekompo genre to the world. 'I like Nigerian music a lot, and someone I'll be working with soon does Afrobeat. For now, I'm focused on the local artists. There are features but it's just me and the boys I usually work with.'
