Who is Nicola Peltz and why is she famous as Beckham feud continues

Daily Record10-05-2025

Brooklyn Beckham's wife reportedly has a rocky relationship with the family- which has been worsening of late.
Nicola Peltz's name has been making headlines lately as her feud with the Beckhams continues to escalate. She and her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, failed to attend David Beckham's 47th birthday celebrations recently despite travelling to London from their LA home.
The 30-year-old actress has been accused of 'controlling' her husband in what many are describing as a toxic relationship. Brooklyn, David Beckham's oldest son, also failed to publicly wish his dad a happy birthday, which is causing wider speculation on the rift in the family.

At the heart of this family feud appears to be Nicola's relationship with the Beckhams which has reportedly caused Brooklyn to cut off contact with his relatives. And tensions have continued to rise.

It is also believed that Brooklyn stopped speaking to his younger brother Romeo after he started dating his ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Nicola and Brooklyn also recently failed to attend a family trip to France, which reportedly widened the cracks in the family.
Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly been feuding since the couple began dating in 2019, and tensions previously came to a head over disagreements with the couple's wedding plans in 2022.
But as Nicola Peltz makes worldwide headlines for allegedly being the cause of the Beckham's falling out, questions are being raised on who she is and why she is famous.
Here's everything you need to know about Nicola Peltz.

Who is Nicola Peltz?
Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham is an American actor and filmmaker.
The actor is best known for her roles as Katara in the film The Last Airbender, Bradley Martin in the A&E drama series Bates Motel and Tessa Yeager in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Nicola has been acting since she was a young child, first appearing in Deck the Halls in 2006.
She was born in New York state on January 9 1995, and is four years older than her husband Brooklyn, who was born in 1999.
Last year, Peltz made her filmmaking debut, writing and directing her drama film, Lola.

Her father is Jewish-American billionaire Nelson Peltz and her mother is model Claudia Heffner.
Some of the tensions between Nicola and the Beckhams arose when the mega-rich Peltz family took control of the organising of Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding in 2022.

As a result, a lavish £3 million ceremony was held at one of the Peltz's family homes – a stunning £76million oceanfront mansion in Miami, with three massive marquees providing shelter for the A-List guests and housing a dance floor, catering area and more.
But Victoria had reportedly wanted the wedding to be held closer to home, igniting yet more tension between her and her daughter-in-law.
Nicola has also dabbled in modelling, and walked the runway for Alexander Wang's last fashion show for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week in 2015.
The actor is also reported to have a close friendship with singer and Disney child star Selena Gomez.

Queen Elizabeth's 'bemusing' two-word comment about Archie and Lilibet on final visit

More info Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to celebrate the fourth birthday of their daughter, Lilibet, with private celebrations expected in her honour. The duo, who exchanged vows in 2018, welcomed their second child on June 4, 2021, making her a younger sibling to six year old Archie. Since opting out of their senior Royal duties in 2020, the Sussex family has made their home across the pond in America. Prince Harry shared insights from his children's "final visit" with the Queen, revealing to the Scottish Daily Express that she appeared "bemused" by the little ones, reports the Mirror. In his tell-all memoir 'Spare', Harry delved into the events surrounding the Queen's funeral and their subsequent return to the US: "For days and days we couldn't stop hugging the children, couldn't let them out of our sight, though I also couldn't stop picturing them with granny, the final visit." (Image: undefined via Getty Images) (Image: undefined via Getty Images) He described how "Archie was making deep, chivalrous bows, his baby sister Lilibet cuddling the monarch's shins." Harry recalled the Queen's reaction, noting she called them the "sweetest children" while seeming "bemused". "She'd expected them to be a bit more... American, I think? Meaning, in her mind, more rambunctious," he concluded. Upon returning home, I was over the moon to resume daily routines like taking the kids to school and reading Giraffes Can't Dance, but memories kept flooding back. King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla ascended to their new roles after the Queen's passing. It is reported that the Royal couple have had limited interactions with their grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, meeting the latter only once during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II in June 2022. Prince Harry acknowledged the distance between himself and his family in a recent interview. In a conversation with the BBC, the Duke of Sussex expressed his desire to reconcile, stating: "There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious." A disagreement over security arrangements led to a rift, with Harry revealing that his father "won't speak to him". Earlier this year, Harry was defeated in a court case relating to the downgrading of his personal security level. Commenting on the verdict, he said: "I'm devastated - not so much as devastated with the loss that I am about the people behind the decision, feeling as though this is okay. Is it a win for them?". "I'm sure there are some people out there, probably most likely the people that wish me harm, W.H.O. consider this a huge win." Prince Harry has chosen not to pursue further legal action, as the judgement has shown that a court victory would be unattainable. He further expressed that the decision has led him to a point where he "can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point".
