Nicola Peltz's name has been making headlines lately as her feud with the Beckhams continues to escalate. She and her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, failed to attend David Beckham's 47th birthday celebrations recently despite travelling to London from their LA home. The 30-year-old actress has been accused of 'controlling' her husband in what many are describing as a toxic relationship. Brooklyn, David Beckham's oldest son, also failed to publicly wish his dad a happy birthday, which is causing wider speculation on the rift in the family. At the heart of this family feud appears to be Nicola's relationship with the Beckhams which has reportedly caused Brooklyn to cut off contact with his relatives. And tensions have continued to rise. It is also believed that Brooklyn stopped speaking to his younger brother Romeo after he started dating his ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Nicola and Brooklyn also recently failed to attend a family trip to France, which reportedly widened the cracks in the family. The actor is best known for her roles as Katara in the film The Last Airbender, Bradley Martin in the A&E drama series Bates Motel and Tessa Yeager in Transformers: Age of Extinction. Nicola has been acting since she was a young child, first appearing in Deck the Halls in 2006. She was born in New York state on January 9 1995, and is four years older than her husband Brooklyn, who was born in 1999. Last year, Peltz made her filmmaking debut, writing and directing her drama film, Lola. Her father is Jewish-American billionaire Nelson Peltz and her mother is model Claudia Heffner. Some of the tensions between Nicola and the Beckhams arose when the mega-rich Peltz family took control of the organising of Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding in 2022. As a result, a lavish £3 million ceremony was held at one of the Peltz's family homes – a stunning £76million oceanfront mansion in Miami, with three massive marquees providing shelter for the A-List guests and housing a dance floor, catering area and more. But Victoria had reportedly wanted the wedding to be held closer to home, igniting yet more tension between her and her daughter-in-law. Nicola has also dabbled in modelling, and walked the runway for Alexander Wang's last fashion show for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week in 2015. Nicola Peltz had family on her mind over the weekend as she shared her continued sadness over the loss of her grandmothers - but continued to snub father-in-law David Beckham amid his 50th birthday Nicola Peltz penned a heartbreaking tribute to her late grandmothers as she was reminded of them both during an annual sporting event. The 30-year-old actress and filmmaker is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner - while her grandmothers were named Bunny and Gina. Nicola was incredibly close to her grandmothers - with Bunny granted the honour of maid of honour at her wedding to Brooklyn Beckham in April 2022 - and was left devastated when they passed away in recent years. Bunny passed away in May 2024 at the age of 95, while Gina passed away in January 2020 on Nicola's birthday. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Nicola shared a series of photographs of herself smiling and laughing alongside the two women. She penned a heartfelt message alongside the string of images - making it clear both were still close to her heart. The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress wrote: "In life we have core memories and this is one of my most favorite days I've ever lived. They were my best friends, there wasn't a day I wasn't with them." She continued: "To my Naunni and my Gina I can't fathom the thought of not being able to hug you or hear your laugh right now - I just miss you both so much. The farther I get from the day you left Earth scares me because I feel like I get farther from you." Addressing the images she shared, Nicola went on: "I remember this day so clearly, I got us all matching Dior fancy sneakers and I was so proud to match you both this whole summer." And going on to explain why she had been reminded of the two ladies, she went on: "The Kentucky Derby is today and I will never forget watching it on tv with you both every year. I love you both more than anything and think of you every second." Nicole continued: "I hope you're together right now looking after me and I hope I see you soon. To my forever soulmates I more than love you because the word love doesn't touch how you have made me feel growing up." She added: "I felt more than loved and that is what I feel for you both, more than love." Nicola's emotional post comes amid reports of growing friction between her and husband Brooklyn against his family, the Beckhams. For days, football icon David Beckham has been celebrating his 50th birthday with a string of gatherings and events. He reportedly brought family and friends together for a knees up at his home in the Cotswolds before enjoying further celebrations in France on Friday. On Saturday night, the sports star and his family were joined by A-List friends for a celebration at a top London restaurant. But Brooklyn and Nicola were absent from all celebrations - and noticeably did not post any online tributes to David. The move is said to have left the footballer heartbroken. Jack Reynor to Face Off Against ‘The Mummy' for New Line Cinema
Jacy Reynor is set to go toe-to-toe with the walking undead, as he has landed the lead in New Line Cinema's 'The Mummy,' from 'Evil Dead Rise' director Lee Cronin and Atomic Monster and Blumhouse. Production begins next week in Ireland, ahead of its April 17, 2026 release date. Plot details are being kept secret, although Reynor is reportedly a husband and father who goes up against the titular creep. This will be the third modernized monster movie that producer Jason Blum and Blumhouse has tackled, after making 'The Invisible Man' and 'Wolf Man,' both directed by Leigh Whannell, for Universal Pictures, the studio most closely associated with the classic monsters. The last time Universal unwrapped 'The Mummy' it was for a big-screen action blockbuster in 2017 starring Tom Cruise. Before that there were a trilogy of films starring Brendan Fraser, which concluded in 2008. Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are co-financing 'The Mummy,' with James Wan, Blum and John Keville producing. Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Macdara Kelleher are executive producing. Alayna Glasthal is the executive overseeing the project for Atomic Monster. Reynor has previously appeared in everything from Hollywood blockbuster 'Transformers: Age of Extinction,' to smaller gems like 'Sing Street,' 'Detroit' and 'Midsommar.' On the small screen he has appeared in the Paramount+ series 'Strange Angel,' along with Prime Video's 'The Peripheral' and more recently Netflix's 'The Perfect Couple.'
