Nicola Peltz's gratitude over 'beautiful people' in her life amid Beckhams rift
Nicola Peltz - who has been at the centre of speculation about the alleged Beckham family rift - paid tribute to three people in her life in a post on social media amid the rumours
Amid ongoing rumours of a rift with her husband Brooklyn Beckham 's family, Nicola Peltz has expressed gratitude for "beautiful people" that are in her life. The actor shared the update with fans on social media this afternoon.
Nicola, 30, paid tribute to her "team" in the post on her Instagram Story earlier today. She was seen posing beside three people, one of whom is a celebrity hairdresser, in a photo shared with her followers on the platform.
The Transformers: Age of Extinction star looked in good spirits as she took the selfie in a mirror alongside the trio. Nicola wrote in the caption: "I love my team so much. I'm so grateful to have such beautiful people around me."
They are just three of the people in Nicola's circle, which has attracted attention lately. It was reported earlier this week that she has a "fast-growing posse of A-list friends," according to a source that spoke to Closer magazine.
It was also suggested that she is "becoming the Queen Bee" at the moment amid reports of tension with her in-laws. Nicola's close pals are said to include Selena Gomez, and she's reportedly reconnected with "old pals" like Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber recently.
Meghan Markle was described by the source as her "newest pal". They said that through the former actor, Nicola had been introduced to Serena Williams.
The speculation about Nicola's circles of friends comes amid ongoing rumours of a rift within the Beckham family. It was fuelled by Nicola and her husband Brooklyn, 26, having reportedly been absent from 50th birthday celebrations for his father David Beckham, 50, last month.
At one point, the relationship between Romeo Beckham, 22, and Kim Turnbull, 24, - who have since split up, though reportedly not due to the alleged family feud - was attributed as a factor in the alleged rift. TMZ reported earlier this year that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola questioned whether Kim had "the right intentions" for dating Romeo.
It came amid speculation that Romeo's brother Brooklyn was once romantically linked to Kim, though TMZ reported at the time that it was "all under the bridge". Hello magazine however reported Cruz Beckham, 20, wrote in a now-deleted comment amid the rumours on social media: "Brooklyn and Kim never dated."
More recently though, other parties have been blamed for the apparent rift instead. It's included Nicola being blamed for the rumoured tension by some people. She has also been defended though, with a source previously telling the Mirror that she "encourages" Brooklyn to see his family.
Amid the ongoing speculation, a source said last month that there was "distance" between Brooklyn and his parents David and Victoria Beckham, 51.
