Drake Throws DeMar DeRozan Jersey To The Ground During Concert
While jumping up and down performing 'Rich Flex,' the rapper unfolded the jersey, clarified it was that of DeRozan, balled it back up in disgust, and threw it off the stage. Akademiks shared a clip of the moment on social media.
According to Complex, the video comes from Drake's first Sydney show as he kicked off his Anita Max Wynn Tour.
Drake's feud with DeMar DeRozan stems from his ongoing beef with rapper Kendrick Lamar. Although the Canadian musician and the NBA star were once close friends, DeRozan's support of K. Dot drew a line in the sand. After appearing on stage with Kendrick Lamar at his 2024 Juneteenth concert dancing to the Grammy Award-winning diss 'Not Like Us,' the Sacramento Kings forward also appeared in the acclaimed music video.
DeRozan is also referenced in the song with Kendrick Lamar rhyming, 'I'm glad DeRoz' came home, y'all didn't deserve him neither.'
'[I] Love Drake, always can play him. [But] Kendrick been a friend of mine—Damn near family, we both from the same city. Grew up damn near in the same neighborhood, but it's always been there, it hasn't been always publicized, but that's basically family,' shared the athlete in response to the moment.
The Compton NBA star continued to elaborate that standing by Kendrick was bigger than rap, referencing the unity in their shared hometown adding 'Everybody was coming together in a peaceful manner and that was the beauty out of those moments.'
Still, Drake took his allegiance personally, staring DeRozan down during a Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings matchup in November 2024. 'If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I'll go up there and pull it down myself,' the 'One Dance' singer declared.
Outside of the beef, Carmelo Anthony added his opinion on the entire ordeal saying, 'You gotta pull up on DeMar if you feel that way before you go on camera. Drake did a lot when he said I'ma go up there and take it down. That part is a lot.'

'Ted Lasso' Season 4 first look revealed as filming begins in Kansas City
Ready to "believe" again? Apple TV+ has released a first look photo from the upcoming fourth season of "Ted Lasso," which has officially started production in Kansas City. Filming is also set to take place in London, the streamer said. The photo shows Jason Sudeikis' titular soccer coach seated at a restaurant alongside his old colleagues Leslie Higgins (Jeremy Swift), Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) and Keeley Jones (Juno Temple). Brett Goldstein's Roy Kent and Brendan Hunt's Coach Beard aren't pictured in the image, but both characters are also returning for the new episodes, Apple has confirmed. Goldstein and Hunt are also producers on the new season. Several supporting characters from the first three seasons of "Lasso," including Nick Mohammed's Nate and Phil Dunster's Jamie Tartt, have not been announced as part of the Season 4 cast. The glimpse at Season 4 comes more than two years after the Emmy-winning soccer comedy aired what appeared to be its final episode in May 2023. The show's first three seasons followed college football coach Ted as he is recruited from Kansas to coach a British soccer team, AFC Richmond. By the end of Season 3, Ted said goodbye to the team and moved back home to the U.S. to be with his son, Henry (Gus Turner). Sudeikis and his fellow "Lasso" producers had said in interviews that a three-season arc was planned from the start of the series. But despite the finality of the Season 3 finale, which also tied up many stories for the supporting characters, Apple never explicitly confirmed that it was the end of "Lasso." After years of fan and media speculation that the show could continue in some form, a fourth season was officially announced in March of this year. 'Ted Lasso' fans can believe it: The show is back for a Season 4, with Ted coaching women In Season 4, "Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women's football team," Apple's plot synopsis says, using the British word for soccer. "Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would." Sudeikis teased in a March statement that "as we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap," in Season 4 "the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be." Speaking to USA TODAY in April, Goldstein said he "cried and we had such an emotional goodbye" at the end of Season 3 of "Lasso," but "I do think a part of me thought this wasn't the end." Brett Goldstein on 'wonderful' 'Ted Lasso' revival and his first HBO stand-up special "I just felt like it's such a lovely world," he added. "It sort of felt like surely there'll be a way to do more." Newcomers to the cast in Season 4 include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern. Grant Feely will take over the role of Ted's son, Henry.
