Phillies Announce Major Aaron Nola Career News
The Philadelphia Phillies announced that pitcher Aaron Nola has accomplished 10 years of service in MLB.
Nola joins seven of his active teammates to have accomplished the feat, which is only done by less than 10 percent of the league.

The Phillies' most recent player to earn his 10th year of service was Kyle Schwarber earlier this season.
Nola has spent all 11 seasons of his MLB career with the Phillies after breaking into the league in 2015. He's made one All-Star Game and been in the top seven for Cy Young voting three times.
Players' service time in MLB begins when they are first added to a team's active roster, and after they have spent a minimum of 43 days on the roster, they become eligible for pension benefits. To acquire 10 years of service in MLB, a player must spend 173 days on the active roster or injured list annually.

The Phillies' staple on the mound has had the roughest start to a season in his career in 2025 with a 6.16 ERA across 49.2 innings as he's dealt with injuries and is currently on the 60-day injured list.

However, Nola's career in Philadelphia has been a historic one. He ranks top 10 in Phillies' history in strikeouts, wins, and bWAR among pitchers.
Over his 11 years with the Phillies, Nola has a 3.78 ERA, pitched 1,671 innings, accumulated 1,835 strikeouts, and racked up 105 wins. He's also thrown six complete games and four shutouts.
Although he won't be on the mound for a while as he recovers from injury, his legacy will be honored by the Phillies.
The Phillies will host the San Diego Padres this afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.

You're not gonna get a lot of carry here." Fairway bunkers on both the left and the right can come into play off of the tee, which will essentially eliminate your chances of getting to the green in two shots and putting for birdie. A good drive from the tee on the hole will leave you an approach shot from around 150 yards with water on the left of the green and two bunkers behind it. "It's gonna funnel left, but it's also gonna hit that green and just release pretty hard," Morrison said. Once you make it to the green, that's when the fun begins with a slick putting surface. From the tee to the green, the challenges on the 15th at Diamond Run definitely make it one of western Pennsylvania's gems.
