OFFICIAL: Kaizer Chiefs hand two-year deal to veteran midfielder!
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly keen on keeping Sibongiseni Mthethwa in their ranks as free agency beckons for the 30-year-old.
'The club has already taken the initiative to keep the midfielder for two more years,' an inside source revealed. 'The talks are believed to have started before the end of the season. But apparently things are looking good. It will all now depend on what both parties are looking at. But the talks are open.'
Another source reaffirmed the speculation, saying, 'Yes, he didn't start well under coach Nasreddine Nabi. We think he didn't understand him. But now they [Kaizer Chiefs] are happy with him and that's why they are offering him a two-year deal.'

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs are hoping to add 19-year-old Neo Rapoo from SuperSport United, however they face competition from Orlando Pirates meaning the jury is still out as to whether they will land the talented teenager.
'Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are both keen to sign SuperSport United left-back Neo Rapoo ahead of the new season,' an inside source revealed.
'His performances as he led South Africa U20 to the Africa Cup of Nations title earned him interest in Scandinavia and the Gulf but sources as Matsatsansa have confirmed Chiefs and Pirates are both seriously after the player who is seen as future senior national team left-back.'
'With Orlando Pirates having released Paseka Mako and the retirement of Innocent Maela, their interest on the promising full-back comes as no surprise, while Kaizer Chiefs are looking to remedy a position that has plagued them in the last couple of seasons.'

Bafana B striker Radiopane urges attackers to be ruthless against Comoros
South Africa striker Boitumelo Radiopane is urging attackers to be decisive in front of goal when they take on Comoros in their Cosafa Cup semifinal clash at Free State Stadium on Friday (6pm). Bafana finished top of Group A but the Orlando Pirates attacker said they missed a lot of opportunities but he is confident they have learnt from those moments and ready to deliver against Comoros. 'We tried every day to finish the chances we get in training because that is where the work starts,' he said. 'I am happy with the group of players I'm surrounded with because we all want to reach the same goal, which is to win, and to do that we have to score as many goals as we can. 'All I can say regarding our decision-making in front of the goals is we need to be calm and not be selfish. If I'm not in a good position to score, I have to give it to the next player who is in the better position and to win the game for us. 'The only way to reward our defence is to score for them because they are doing everything well and everything they can for the opposition not to strike at us.' Radiopane said the mood in the South African camp is a mix of calm confidence and quiet determination.
