‘Sirens' Dethroned In Netflix's Top 10 List By A New Show
Sirens
Sirens has had some time on top of Netflix's top 10 list for a while now, performing well, but as a miniseries, it probably doesn't need to go on past this initial run (plus one of its leads needs to go be the new Supergirl). Now, the show has been unseated by something rather strange.
It is not WWE RAW, which is actually in a surprising third place behind both Sirens and the new #1, Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders. Uh, what? Yeah, this happened. Here's the synopsis of what happened there:
This happened in 1982, and I'll admit that I never knew this took place. It was a series of poisoning deaths in Chicago where people died from taking cyanide-laced Tylenol, something that was obviously not a factory defect. The most chilling part of all of this is that no one was ever found responsible for what was at least seven deaths from the poisonings.
Top 10
The new Cold Case series is the length of a movie split into three parts, about 120 minutes in total. I'm not exactly sure why Netflix does this instead of just making it a movie, but it's been a tradition. Another high-profile entry in the Cold Case series was the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey, as the series focuses on well, Cold Cases that went unsolved, as the name suggests.
I just finished Sirens which I thought was okay. It has good performances from its stars, albeit mired in what was not the greatest plotline and I think it's going to be an ultimately forgettable series. Even if it wasn't a miniseries, I would not be in favor of it returning for season 2.
Another new entry to the list comes in at #4, She the People, a Tyler Perry show that spans eight 25-minute episodes as a quick watch, and one that seems to be angling for more series past that. It's about a politician, her 'wacky family' and a bodyguard she seems to have a crush on. It's a comedy, in case that wasn't clear.
Further down the list, we have the overperforming The Four Seasons which was greenlit for a second season already. Then the 100%-rated murder mystery, Secrets We Keep, which I'm going to say is probably a 60% at best after having watched it. But hey, make your own judgment.

Family searching for answers after man killed in same Baldwin Park shooting that left police officer dead
Darius Wong, a father of two, dropped his daughters, wife and sister-in-law off outside the front door of a family party in Baldwin Park on Saturday so he could park their car down the street. For reasons that are still unclear to his family, Wong never made it to the party. He was instead shot dead on the street, and now the family says they're seeking justice. Wong, 43 of Hacienda Heights, was the man killed on Filhurst Avenue in Baldwin Park, which led to more tragedy just minutes later. After finding Wong lying on the sidewalk at about 7:12 p.m., a neighbor called the police. Members of the Baldwin Park Police Department arrived and found Wong dead. Darius Wong, 43, was shot and killed on Saturday, May 31, 2025, just before an officer with the Baldwin Park Police Department was allegedly killed by the same suspect. The Vuong Family In the next few moments, the officers encountered a suspect, who authorities say was armed with a rifle. A gun battle ensued, leading to two officers and the suspect being shot. One of the officers, later identified by officials as Samuel Riveros, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Another officer, Anthony Pimentel, was briefly hospitalized. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department identified the suspect as 22-year-old Eduardo Roberto Medina-Berumen. He was also wounded and remained hospitalized as of Monday, but he could face two murder charges upon his release. It's not yet clear what motive Medina-Berumen could have had when he allegedly shot and killed Wong and Riveros. When speaking with KCAL News, the family of Wong alleged Medina-Berumen got in a dispute over a parking spot with another guest of the party Wong was attending, although he wasn't involved. They say Wong was shot in the back, unclear of the situation. "Darius left this world far too soon and in the most innocent of ways — without truly knowing what was happening," Wong's brother Victor Vuong wrote in an online fundraiser. His family called him a "hardworking man who cared deeply for his family," which includes two daughters who are 3 and 5 years old. L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman's office said charges against Medina-Berumen were set to be announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Razer's wirelessly charging mouse pad now supports more mice
Razer has announced a new version of its HyperFlux mouse pad, which first launched in 2018. The new HyperFlux V2 carries forward the same wireless charging functionality as the original, but instead of only being compatible with a single specific mouse, it works with several models in Razer's current lineup, charging their batteries continuously using an included adapter. The HyperFlux V2 Wireless Charging System comes in two versions for $119.99. One with a hard surface that's available now, and one with a softer cloth surface, which is expected to launch later this year. The original Razer HyperFlux was sold as part of a $249.99 bundle that included the Mamba HyperFlux mouse. The V2 model doesn't come with a mouse, but is compatible with the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro mice, which range in price from $129.99 to $179.99. The Mamba HyperFlux mouse that worked with the original version of the HyperFlux pad featured a super capacitor inside that retained power for about 5 to 10 seconds when it was lifted off the pad. That was enough time to allow you to reposition the mouse without it dying, but to use it anywhere else required a USB cable. The new HyperFlux V2 instead uses a puck inserted into the bottom of the supported mouse models that charges their batteries wirelessly while they're on the pad. An LED indicator at the top of the pad indicates the battery's charge level by changing colors. Like the original version, the new HyperFlux V2 mouse pad also serves as a receiver, allowing Razer's mice and keyboards to wirelessly connect to a PC (through the pad, which connects to a computer over USB) using its proprietary HyperSpeed technology that's faster and more reliable than Bluetooth. The mouse pad is also compatible with Razer's wireless keyboards, including the BlackWidow V3 Pro and DeathStalker V2 Pro, but it can't charge them wirelessly. The functionality of the HyperFlux V2 Wireless Charging System appears similar to Logitech's patented Powerplay Wireless Charging System. The Verge has reached out to Logitech for comment and to Razer to clarify if its new wirelessly charging mouse pad is using a different approach than the Powerplay system. We will update this story if they respond.
