In a surprise that left the crowd astonished and sparked a wave of nostalgia, John Travolta amazed everyone by making a surprise cameo as his legendary character Danny Zuko during the 'Grease Sing-A-Long' at the Hollywood Bowl.
The audience, gathered to celebrate the timeless musical classic, went wild when the 70-year-old actor walked onto the stage in casual style, dressed in character complete with a vintage blond wig.
Travolta, who first played the slick-talking Zuko in the 1978 blockbuster musical film, posted a video and photo from the evening on Instagram and explained that not even his co-stars or the event organisers knew he would appear.
'Tonight at the Hollywood Bowl for the first time I surprised everybody at the 'GREASE Sing-A-Long' and dressed up as Danny Zuko. Nobody knew. Not even the cast. Great night, thanks,' he wrote.
