Allu Arjun is one of the most bankable actors currently. Post Pushpa 2, the actor has been getting many films, including Atlee's upcoming action drama. The film was announced on Allu Arjun's birthday. He will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone for the first time. Amid this, he once again melted hearts by sharing a touching photo of his parents, Allu Aravind and Nirmala, in celebration of Parents' Day. The Pushpa star posted the adorable picture.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Allu Arjun shared an adorable photo of his parents. Both are smiling as they pose. Allu Arjun was recently snapped at Mumbai airport and, just like every time, he once again slayed his look — and we can't get enough of his style. The actor, who has been making waves for his upcoming projects, opted for a simple black-and-white look as he arrived at the airport.
Coming to Allu Arjun's upcoming projects, the actor is busy with several high-profile films. He has started shooting for a futuristic sci-fi action thriller, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Helmed by director Atlee, the action entertainer promises cutting-edge visual effects that could be a game-changer for Indian sci-fi cinema. Besides Allu Arjun, Mrunal Thakur and Deepika Padukone are part of the film.
Fans will also see Arjun star in Trivikram Srinivas's pan-India socio-mythological fantasy film. Touted to be a mythological drama with a contemporary twist, this film marks another collaboration between the actor and director. He will also reprise his iconic role of Pushpa in the highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 3.
Meanwhile, a fresh wave of speculation recently hit the internet, suggesting that Allu Arjun might step into the iconic role of Shaktimaan in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the beloved 90s superhero series. The rumour triggered excitement among fans, especially after actor Mukesh Khanna — who originally portrayed the superhero — praised Allu Arjun's charisma and screen presence. However, the makers later clarified that no such casting change is on the cards.
To confirm the development, Bollywood Hungama reached out to director Basil Joseph, who stated unequivocally, 'Shaktimaan will be made only with Ranveer Singh."

A reminder that what I do matters: Shah Rukh Khan on winning National Film Award

New Delhi, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Friday said he was 'overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility' after being named best actor at the 71st National Film Awards, his first win at the prestigious film honours in a career spanning over three decades. A reminder that what I do matters: Shah Rukh Khan on winning National Film Award In a video message on Instagram, the 59-year-old actor said the National Film Award serves as a reminder that his work "matters" and encourages him to "keep going, working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema". Shah Rukh, who shared the award with "12th Fail" actor Vikrant Massey, was rewarded for his performance in filmmaker Atlee's action drama "Jawan" . The movie, which minted over ₹1,100 crore at the worldwide box office, was a high-octane thriller and featured SRK in the dual role of Army officer Vikram Rathore and his jailor son Azad. "I am overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility. To be honored with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime," he said in the video message. In the video, the actor's right hand was in a sling following an injury he sustained while shooting for his upcoming film "King". "A national award is not just about achievement. It's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema. "In a world full of noise to be heard, truly heard, is a blessing. And I promise to use this recognition, not as a finish line, but as fuel to continue striving, learning and giving back. This award is a reminder for me that acting is not just work but a responsibility, to show the truth on the screen. I am grateful for all the love," Shah Rukh said. The actor extended his thanks to the award jury, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and his recent collaborators directors Rajkumar Hirani , Siddharth Anand and especially Atlee. "Thanks to Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in 'Jawan' and trusting me to deliver and be worthy of this award. Atlee sir, this is like you say 'mass'," he said. Shah Rukh also gave a special mention to his team, acknowledging their patience and hard work. "I want to thank my team and management, which works tirelessly with me. They bear with me, my eccentricities and impatience and give me their full attention and make me look much better than I am... like even now in this video. This award, without their perseverance and love would not be possible at all. Thank you so much for everything you do," he said. Shah Rukh, who made his film debut with 1992's "Deewana", also expressed gratitude to his family. "My wife and kids who, over the last few years, give me so much more love and care as if I'm the kid in the house and want only the best for me. They know my obsession with cinema takes me away from them, but they all bear it with a smile and allow me the time. So thank you very much for that," he added. The actor also thanked his fans and said they will see him on screen soon. "Thank you for all the cheers and all the tears, and really, thank you for pausing your scrolling while watching my award. This award is for you, as each award is and yeah, I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love, but I'm a bit indisposed. But don't worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I'll be back in theaters and soon on the screen. So till then, just with one hand," he said. This article was generated from an automated news agency feed without modifications to text.

F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem and others, is still holding its own at the Indian box office. The film's collections have not been affected, despite it losing all of its high performing IMAX screens, and despite facing new local competition every week. After 5 weeks, the movie's collections stand at Rs 88 crore and it still has some steam left. There is news that the movie will release in IMAX screens and if that happens on a large scale, a Rs 100 crore touch-and go finish can't be ruled out. Bangladeshi model used fake Indian documents to purchase properties

Kolkata, Aug 1 (PTI) Bangladeshi model and actress Shanta Pal allegedly used fake Indian documents to jointly purchase properties in the southern part of the city along with her live-in partner, a police officer said on Friday. Pal was arrested earlier this week, with fake Indian documents like Aadhaar card, ration card. Police are verifying the details of the property transaction, the officer said. Initial probe revealed that Pal allegedly used fake documents and entered into a 'digital marriage" with the man, hailing from Andhra Pradesh. She arrived in Kolkata in 2023 from Barisal, Bangladesh, using her Bangladeshi passport. 'She brought along her friend and alleged partner, Ashraf, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, who works in the merchant navy. 'The duo rented an apartment in Park Street and later moved to Golf Green, where they began living together. Shanta reportedly kept Ashraf's passport in her possession. With the help of a local agent she allegedly forged multiple Indian identity documents, including ration card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, and PAN card," the officer said. She obtained a fake Aadhaar card, falsely claiming to be a resident of Gopalpur, Barshul in Burdwan, and later procured another under her Golf Green address. 'Using both her and Ashraf's documents, they allegedly purchased properties in Kolkata," police said. Further investigation revealed that Shanta had represented Bangladesh in the Indo-Bangla Beauty Pageant in 2016, and in 2019, she went on to become Miss Asia Global. 'Following her success in modelling, she began her acting career before eventually joining a Bangladeshi airline," he said. Police are cross-checking her professional background as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged identity fraud and property acquisition in India. In the last two years, Shanta acted in Tamil and Bengali films, and even signed an Odia film, the officer said.
