Billie Eilish Teams With James Cameron for 3D Concert Film
'So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,' the Grammy-winning singer told the sold-out crowd. 'I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D.

Eilish did not give details about the nature of the finished project, but said the 'Avatar' director was in attendance at the show. Eilish said her four-show run, with performances between Saturday and Wednesday, would be part of the project.
'So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.'
Eilish is in the middle of a global tour for her latest album, 'Hit Me Hard and Soft.'
A representative for Eilish told TheWrap that more details would be released in the coming months. As if Cameron won't have enough to do during that time – the director is set to release 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' just in time for Christmas 2025.
Eilish already has one (two-dimensional) concert film in the can: 'Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles' from 2021. That same year, she released the documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry.'

Universal Music Group Files for U.S. Public Offering
Universal Music Group — the music titan behind popular artists like Taylor Swift and Drake — said on Monday that it had submitted a proposal for a public offering in the United States. The company, which is based in the Netherlands, filed a confidential draft registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, it said in a statement on Monday. It's not clear yet how many shares it will offer, or for how much. The offering is part of a deal Universal reached in January with Pershing Square, as described by Bill Ackman, the hedge fund's founder and chief executive in January on social media. That agreement said Pershing could ask Universal Music to list in the United States if the hedge fund sells at least $500 million of its stock in the offering. . Pershing Square's total investment in Universal Music Group was $3.3 billion, Mr. Ackman said. Sales of recorded music drove revenue growth for Universal Music last year, which saw the release of new albums by artists like Ms. Swift, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter, who rank among the most streamed artists globally on Spotify and Apple Music. Universal owns the labels that publish and distribute music from those and other artists. The group's heft was on display last year when Universal pulled songs owned or published by its labels from TikTok over a dispute for royalties from music used on the short-form video app. The two companies settled that dispute in May 2024. Universal will not receive any proceeds from the sale of ordinary shares by the selling shareholders, it said.

Christina Aguilera Rewears Vintage Versace Dress 22 Years Later
Christina Aguilera has us seeing double! To celebrate the West End premiere of Burlesque: The Musical at London's Savoy Theatre, the multi-hyphenate, 44, attended a photocall for the show on Monday, July 21, wearing a gothic glam look she had previously worn 22 years ago. The singer dressed for the occasion in a green Versace dress from the Italian fashion house's fall 2003 collection. Aguilera served as the model for the look back then, posing bare-faced for a campaign shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel. In 2003, Donatella Versace, who stepped down as Versace's creative director after nearly 30 years to become its global ambassador in March, opened up about what it meant to have Aguilera be the face of a campaign for the brand. 'I watch the videos of Christina and I always die. She is a great dancer, a great singer, her voice is amazing. I always hoped I could do something with her, but I wanted to be friends first, that is the most important thing for me," Versace said at the time, per Billboard. This time around, Aguilera put a sexy, rocker spin on the famed corset lace number, wearing her long, straight platinum blonde hair gently pushed back as it fell over the dress's sweetheart neckline. Aguilera paired the asymmetrical design with black knee-high boots that matched her dark lipstick and eye makeup. That same year, she also wore Versace to the MTV Europe Awards. The performer's iconic green Versace dress has been a favorite of many, including Beyoncé, who wore it to the 2003 MTV Movie Awards. Rita Ora wore it to a 2020 New Year's party and Iris Law wore it to a London Fashion Week Party in 2022. Bella Hadid also wore it to a 2022 event. It's no surprise that Aguilera was supporting Burlesque: The Musical as she famously starred in the 2010 film version, Burlesque. In it, she plays Ali, an aspiring singer who moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and begins working at a burlesque lounge run by Tess (played by Cher). This time around, Aguilera is executive producing the stage musical, alongside producers Adam Paulden and Jason Haigh-Ellery, Sue Gilad and Larry Rogowsky, Steven Antin and Clint Culpepper. Some of Aguilera's tunes from the movie are also part of the musical. But unlike Colbert, who said it almost laconically about Donald Trump during his own monologue on Monday, Stewart sang it with the help of a gospel choir backing him.
