Zoey Sham, married to M'sian tycoon, takes family on RM5K helicopter tour
Hong Kong actress Zoey Sham is truly living the Crazy Rich Asian lifestyle.
The former TVB star stepped away from the limelight after marrying Malaysian tycoon Dixon Chin in 2012 and has since become a proud mother to two sons – aged 10 and six.
Sham, 38, recently made headlines after sharing on Instagram a vlog of her three-day, two-night getaway to Australia.
In the video, the family was seen enjoying a helicopter tour, taking in stunning views of the coastline, mountain landscapes, Cairns city and the Great Barrier Reef.
However, the experience came at a hefty price of HK$10,000 (RM5,624) for four people.
"The view of the Great Barrier Reef from the helicopter was stunning... For those prone to seasickness, taking a helicopter is a great option," the Best Selling Secrets (2007) star wrote in the caption.
Beyond the helicopter ride, the family also ventured underwater, boarding a submarine to explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
During their underwater adventure, they were treated to a captivating view of sharks, corals, tropical fish, sea turtles and more.
'The most amazing part was seeing so many fish – more than you can imagine. They would constantly swim close to see what we were doing. It felt like we were being watched more than they were,' Sham joked.
After the submarine ride, the family of four spent the rest of the afternoon snorkelling and enjoying the picturesque beauty of Green Island.
They capped off the day with dinner at a Western restaurant by the pier.
In her post, Sham revealed that her husband handles all the trip arrangements whenever they travel as a family.
'He's very efficient. Since businessmen are very time-constrained, they tend to choose quality over quantity. He would choose to go to must-see places. We would never settle for regular sightseeing,' she said, adding that each trip, though short, is fulfilling. View this post on Instagram

Sail Malaysia 2025 Fleet Commodore or Team Leader, Simon Hunt, said the Malaysian Government and Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) are doing a fantastic job and very helpful. 'We feel safe and we have always seen you (security forces) and corresponded. It's been clear, fantastic and helpful. 'You could not have done a better job for us and we very much appreciate that. You have a beautiful place in Sabah, the people are wonderful,' he said. According to Simon, they enjoyed visiting the villages and seeing the children as well as communities here. They are also looking forward to getting down further south east of Sabah and enjoy some diving. Simon said this while delivering his speech, representing the participants, during the flag-off programme officiated by Esscom Commander DCP Datuk Victor Sanjos, Saturday. Victor, in his speech, welcomed the participants to Sabah's east coast. He said the participants' yearly presence is truly a blessing, as it proves that the east coast of Sabah is secure, in fact very safe. 'The Madani Government under the Ministry of Home Affairs and Esscom are committed to ensuring the security level is at the highest and thus it is one of the Government's priorities; and for reference since Esscom was formed, we recorded zero kidnapping incident since January 2020. 'I hope this will give you peace of mind to sail and enjoy 'this paradise' of our spectacular Sabah,' he said. According to Victor, Sabah, 'The Land Below the Wind', especially east coast area, is more than just a geographical reference; it is a symbol of the State's serene beauty, rich cultural tapestry and commitment in preserving its natural treasures. Negaraku II Explores Malaysia's Story Through Art In George Town
By Siti Azila Alias GEORGE TOWN, Aug 17 (Bernama) -- As Malaysians proudly fly the Jalur Gemilang ahead of the National Day, the spirit of patriotism, unity and hope for the future is also finding its voice through art. A year after unveiling negaraku, an exhibition honouring the nation's journey from independence to its future possibilites, art collector Bingley Sim and his wife Ima Norbinsha return with negaraku II, a more expansive sequel that goes deeper into the complexities of Malaysian identity. Running throughout the month (until Aug 31) at Hin Bus Depot, Jalan Gurdwara here, negaraku II showcases compelling works from the private collection of Sim, 62, and Ima, 63, two passionate champions of socially conscious Malaysian contemporary art. Curated by Ivan Gabriel, the exhibition features 35 works from the couple's private collection, with some presented as thematic sets, bringing the total number of individual pieces to about 60, divided into six chapters. In an interview with Bernama, Sim explained that the first chapter titled 'Pejuang-Pejuang' (Warriors), begins with a 1511 masterpiece by Edroger Rosili depicting the Portuguese arrival, a reminder of a history Malaysians must not forget, as their ancestors lived under colonial rule for centuries. He said the second chapter 'Malaysia, Truly Asia' takes inspiration from the well-known tourism slogan, highlighting the country's rich cultural diversity while also addressing the underlying challenges that coexist with its beauty. 'Third chapter 'Pendatang?' (Immigrants?) is quite core in this show because this is something very close to curator Ivan. It explores the migrant roots of many Malaysians, in fact, many of our parents or grandparents, in my case, were actually a migrant and became an immigrant from China,' he said. In Chapter 4 titled 'Sama-sama' (Together), Sim pointed out that it celebrates Malaysia's food culture as a unifying bridge between communities, while highlighting historical connections beyond popular eateries.
