Dr Yadav affirmed the state govt's dedication to sports advancement, ensuring athletes receive essential support. He noted Madhya Pradesh's consistent sporting achievements. During the ceremony, he presented awards to medallists from both competitions, congratulated the recipients, and participated in a group photograph with the successful athletes.
The ceremony included the presentation of the state's National Games trophy to CM Yadav.
The Vikram Award recipients received Rs 2 lakh each. The awardees included Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Janhavi Srivastava, Ragini Marco, Shivani Pawar, Shruti Yadav, Yamini Maurya, Sachin Bhargo, Neelu Dadiya, Praveen Kumar Dave, Rubina Francis, and Apurv Dubey from various disciplines.
Eklavya Award winners received Rs 1 lakh each.

The ceremony recognised 82 medallists from the 38th National Games 2025, including 34 gold, 25 silver, and 23 bronze winners across 18 sports, with total prize money of Rs 546 lakh. The event saw substantial attendance from the sporting community.
State sports minister Vishwas Sarang highlighted how the state's young athletes have earned recognition nationally and internationally. He expressed optimism about improved performance in future National Games, aiming for Madhya Pradesh to achieve the top position.
Sarang noted CM Yadav's commitment to sports development through his initiative to construct sports stadiums in every assembly constituency.
Notable attendees included Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association president Ramesh Mendola, secretary Digvijay Singh, principal secretary Manish Singh and deputy secretary Ajay Srivastava. Sports department director Rakesh Gupta delivered the welcome address while joint director B L Yadav offered the vote of thanks.
