AFTER six sensational seasons and two films, a third and final movie will sees us wave goodbye to the drama at Downton Abbey for ever.
To mark the sad occasion the cast will reunite for a glossy documentary, called Farewell Downton Abbey.

Sadly for the millions who watched the show on ITV the swan song is set to go to one of the streaming giants.
A TV insider said: 'This will be bittersweet news for all the people who would be thrilled at the prospect of seeing all the stars of Downton Abbey coming together one last time.
'Because it means there's likely to be a bidding war between the streamers to get this, probably Netflix, who currently show all the TV episodes, and Prime Video, who have the first two movies.
'With the release of the third film it's 'Goodbye Downton Abbey'. But not everyone is going to be able to take part in that, as only those who have the right subscription will be able to see it.'
I exclusively revealed last year that creator Julian Fellowes and his team were preparing to make Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
It will star, for the last time, the likes of Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern as the Earl and Countess of Grantham as well as Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary Crawley and Jim Carter as Mr Carson.
They became huge stars on the back of the series which ran for six series from 2010 to 2015.
The new movie will be released in September and the documentary, made by British production company Monkey Kingdom, which has just finished filming will drop around the same time.
It will include behind-the-scenes footage from the set of the film, as well as interviews with the cast and members of the public who'll explain why its such a grand British Institution.
Then they'll just need a subscription to an American streamer to watch it.

Layton Williams is returning to our screens for a role in Netflix hit Geek Girl

HE has seemed a tad elusive since reaching the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2023.
Now actor Layton Williams is returning to our screens, this time in the second series of the Netflix hit Geek Girl.
It tells the story of awkward adolescent Harriet Manners, played by Emily Carey, who is suddenly plunged into the bizarre world of modelling.
The first series of the comedy drama, which is an adaptation of the children's novels by Holly Smale, debuted last year, while the second is due to air in 2026.
Filming has started in London with Layton joining the cast playing a extravagant fashionista called Onassis.
That must be a real stretch for him.
Scot sitcom to return
AWARD-winning Scottish sitcom Two Doors Down will return with a Christmas special, two years since the last series aired.
The residents of Latimer Crescent will congregate at Beth (Arabella Weir) and Eric's (Alex Norton) house to celebrate.
Others returning include ELAINE C SMITH.

UNIQUE interview show The Assembly is getting a second run.
The ITV programme sees autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled people grill celebrities – with the debut series featuring the likes of David Tennant, Danny Dyer, Gary Lineker and Jade Thirlwall.
As revealed in TV Biz, there will be another six stars stepping up to the plate in the next outing, though they've yet to be unveiled.
And there will be an extra helping in the next season with an episode called The Assembly: Unseen.
Entertainment boss Katie Rawcliffe said they were bringing the show back as it was: 'Warm, funny, revealing and just that little bit mischievous.'
Meanwhile, Stu Richards, director of the show, said: 'I cannot believe we're still getting away with this.
'It is just a ludicrous privilege.'
Moor's murders on full blast
THE BBC has commissioned a two-part series on the Moors murders, drawing on lost documents and recordings of child serial killers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.
The Beeb's Joanna Carr said: 'Duncan Staff expertly revisits the case in pursuit of answers and, ultimately, justice.'

Hacker T Dog has been recruited by Blue Peter

BLUE Peter has recruited a puppet called Hacker T Dog as its newest presenter.
The canine joins Abby Cook, Joel Mawhinney, Shini Muthukrishhnan on the BBC show alongside Henry, a real dog.
Hacker has been a CBBC favourite for 16 years, but will be part of the crew from September.
The pooch, ahem, said: 'It's dead exciting! Thank you for letting me aboard the mighty ship Blue Peter. I am privileged , nay proud, to be involved in this fine institution and top-notch show.'
Puppeteer Phil Fletcher is the man behind Hacker.
The BBC's Sarah Muller added: 'Viewers can expect plenty of mischief from the one-and-only Hacker T Dog.'

SEX Education star Gillian Anderson has revealed how playing a therapist in the Netflix drama made her realise she hadn't always dealt with trauma in her own life.
Speaking on Davina McCall's Begin Again podcast she said: 'We have a tendency to brush things under the carpet when traumatic things happen to us.
'I mean I know that I certainly have, I just kind of get on with my life. It's not until somebody with some objectivity says, 'Whoa wait a minute, what's going on here and you need to take care of yourself or you need to address this or you need to report this.''
She added: 'During MeToo, the degree to which women were encouraged to share how many times or how often they had been harassed or attacked or raped indeed.
'It's important we make a fuss. It's not nothing.'

Netflix users in the UK only have a matter of days left to binge a show many have described as 'the greatest TV series of all time.' First airing in 2004, Lost helped to revolutionise dramatic television as we know it. Following a group of passengers stranded on a mysterious island after a catastrophic plane crash, it left viewers fascinated, frustrated and infatuated, in equal measure. Following its history-making first season, the show went on to accumulate five more series before coming to an end in May 2010. Since then, viewers have continued to unpack the island's many mysteries, with the show experiencing a resurgence when it was first added to Netflix last August. The three stars led an enormous cast, which also included the mysterious Locke (Terry O'Quinn), loveable Hurley (Jorge Garcia) and creepy Ben Linus (Michael Emerson). But my two-day mini-break to Wicklow, just 30 minutes south of Dublin, was anything but that. And if I needed any more reason to visit, Ireland is now being billed as the new home of Halloween thanks not just to its long-standing roots to the pagan festival but the hit Netflix series Wednesday. The Addams family spin-off moved its filming location from Romania to Ireland's County Wicklow last year. And viewers can now admire the region in the second series — the first part of which aired, appropriately enough, this Wednesday. With all this in mind, it's fair to say my itinerary was positively gloomy, in a good way. An ancient cemetery and haunted castle were high on the agenda — both of which feature heavily in the new series. Secret tunnel Charleville Castle in County Offaly in the Midland region of Ireland, is the new home of Nevermore School — where Wednesday is shipped off to by her parents. As I wandered the halls and grand rooms of the 1800s Gothic castle, it wasn't hard to see why Wednesday's legendary director, Tim Burton, fell in love with the building's dark charm and character. Despite it being a protected structure, he and Netflix were able to persuade the castle's heritage trust to get a master carpenter to painstakingly remove one of the giant windows at the back. It was replaced with sugar-glass panels in order to film a werewolf smashing through the window and into Nevermore's music room, sparking chaos and fear among the pupils. Martin Lewis warns about strict passport rule that could see you board your flight - only to get sent home on arrival Luckily for me, the werewolf was nowhere to be seen on my visit. Even luckier for the trust, and visitors, Netflix left its giant, nine-orbed chandelier in place hanging dramatically in the entrance hall. Almost like something out of Scooby Doo, the castle's library features a false bookcase which opens up to a secret tunnel. It was originally built to allow the Freemason owners to sneak guests in and out of their meetings undetected. Visitors, meanwhile, have to use the main door located at the foot of a jaw-dropping winding, open staircase which is said to have been the site of a tragic death. Trust member Bridget Vance explained to me how a young girl named Harriet, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Charleville, fell to her death from the fourth floor. 4 Joanna Lumley as Grandmama in Wednesday Credit: OWEN BEHAN/NETFLIX 4 The Sun's Jack Hardwick Credit: Syupplied She is said to haunt the castle walls and can be heard singing from the nursery. Bridget, who has lived in the property since 2013, says her young son once went missing — only for her to find him at the top of the stairs. He supposedly told her he was OK as 'the little girl held my hand'. If I wasn't spooked enough already, I sure would be at Powerscourt Estate an hour's drive away from Charleville Castle. Netflix bosses have used extensive areas of this 47-acre estate to help recreate the magical world of Nevermore. Tucked away in the Wicklow Valley, the Powerscourt waterfall — Ireland's highest at 121 metres — will be instantly recognisable to fans of the show as summer camp Jericho. Away from the Wednesday film locations, the heritage town of Trim in County Meath is also worth a visit — especially at Halloween Powerscourt House itself, with sprawling manicured gardens that would put Buckingham Palace to shame, also features in the hit series. The building and grounds serve as the home of Joanna Lumley's character Hester, who is Wednesday's Grandma. I'm told bosses splashed out on more than 30 assistant directors to try and stop members of the public from filming and leaking scenes after they were unable to close the grounds during filming. To their credit, next to nothing found its way online prior to release. Away from the Wednesday film locations, the heritage town of Trim in County Meath is also worth a visit — especially at Halloween. Trim hosts the four-day Púca festival, which focuses on Ireland's mythological traditions of the spirit world coming to life instead of the commercialised American trick-or-treat version we all know today. Over four days the town transforms into a Halloween mecca with music, comedy, fire displays and a parade celebrating creatures from Celtic mythology called shapeshifters, which come out the shadows to take over the area. Rather than using pumpkins, locals carve out turnips as Jack-O-Lanterns. The turnips are a nod to the Irish folklore tale about a man called Jack who made a deal with the devil, which led to him being rejected from Heaven and Hell. He was destined to wander the countryside for ever, with only a lantern to guide him. While I can't say I've ever had a ghostly experience, in Ireland or otherwise, I leave the country fascinated by tales of yesteryear. But I'm also glad none of them have happened to me . . . yet.

Meanwhile, Basic Instinct star and ladies' man Michael, then 53, had separated from first wife Diandra Luker, who he eventually divorced in 2000, and had done a stint in rehab for booze and drug issues in 1992. But Catherine, now 55, recalled: 'We've been married 25 years, it's something to celebrate. And they said it would never last! 'It's a journey of learning and loving and fun, and the prospect of reaching a 25-year anniversary is really quite thrilling. I remember my mum and dad celebrating theirs.' The anniversary of their lavish wedding ceremony at the five-star Plaza Hotel in New York is in November, but Catherine will be too busy to celebrate on the actual date. She is now starring as Morticia Addams in the second series of Wednesday, which was released on Netflix this week, and will be filming season three on their big day. But Michael, now 80, doesn't mind waiting a few weeks for a party. Catherine said: 'I've been working a lot this year and he's been so supportive. I think we're going to be doing a party around the holidays because I'll be shooting season three. It's such a short period of time I have off. 'Difficult times' 'September 25 is both our birthdays. So from September 25 through to Christmas is a pretty busy time.' During the past quarter century, cynics have at times believed their predictions the couple wouldn't last. The Mask Of Zorro staring Catherine Zeta-Jones The stars themselves have been candid about the struggles they faced. In 2010, Michael announced he was undergoing intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy to treat stage 4 throat cancer, which he said was caused by the HPV virus. The year after, Catherine revealed she had been diagnosed with bipolar II, struggling with the stress of her husband's illness. Then, in 2013, they announced that they had separated, but reconciled months later, with Michael saying: 'I think every couple has their difficult times. We're back, stronger than ever.' Surviving the tough spells has made them even more determined to celebrate with their children Dylan, 25, and Carys, 22, together with Michael's son Cameron, 46, from his first marriage. The Hollywood pair have amazing careers behind them, with Michael having been in Romancing The Stone and Wall Street, and Catherine in Chicago and Entrapment. But Catherine, now 55, recalled: 'We've been married 25 years, it's something to celebrate. And they said it would never last! In 2009, they returned to New York. Showing off her moves Catherine said: 'Our children are truly wonderful. It's that fine balance of not putting them in a gilded cage of protection, of allowing them to make mistakes, of guiding them.' Wednesday, which launched in 2022, also stars Jenna Ortega in the title role and Luis Guzman as Morticia's husband Gomez. It became a huge hit for the streamer and won four Primetime Emmy Awards. Catherine admits that she relates to the Addams family, saying: 'It's a family who have issues, and we all relate to that. Morticia and Wednesday have a strained relationship in the show, but Catherine says that she and real-life daughter Carys share a close bond. The actress reveals Morticia's parenting style involves 'nurturing and then having discipline'. Carys has experienced a small dose of her parenting style. Catherine said: 'I did give her side-eye the other day. I rolled my eyes, and she went, 'Don't Morticia me, Mom'. I thought it was a wonderful new line that kids can say to their mothers, 'Don't Morticia me'.' In addition to her happy off-screen marriage, Catherine said she is lucky to have a great on-screen hubby in Luis. She added of the Puerto Rican actor: 'We don't rehearse our chemistry, it just seems to really show up. 'When I met her, she was humble, gracious, creative, collaborative and a woman who is just, you know, it exudes from her — greatness. She doesn't know it. 'She's a wonderful artist. And I get to say now, 'I met Lady Gaga'.' Not to mention Gaga can say she met Catherine Zeta-Jones . . .
