The popular web series Mirzapur is now set to make its debut on the silver screen. The series is being adapted into a film, and interestingly, Panchayat 's most-loved character (sachiv ji aka secretary), Jitendra Kumar, will be seen in a lead role. To refresh your memory, Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey played the lead roles of Guddu and Bablu Pandit in the original series. Initially, it was reported that both actors would reprise their roles in the film. However, the latest update suggests that Jitendra Kumar will be taking the role further and replacing one of the actors. Mirzapur movie's team is in talks with Panchayat actor Jitendra Kumar.
Jitendra Kumar has reportedly been finalised for this role in Mirzapur.
Mirzapur movie will feature Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Shweta Tripathi. What will Jitendra Kumar's character be in Mirzapur?
The announcement about turning this series into a film was made quite some time ago. Now, fans can expect to see a major change in the movie. Reportedly, instead of Vikrant Massey, Panchayat actor Jitendra Kumar will be seen in the film.
The reason behind this is that Vikrant Massey is currently busy with other projects and, as a result, had to step away from Mirazpur movie. Following Vikrant's exit, the makers are said to have placed their bet on Jitendra Kumar. Given his massive popularity and the love he has received on OTT through Panchayat, the makers are looking to capitalize on his fan base. It is now being speculated that the famous Jeetu Bhaiya will step into the role of Bablu Pandit in the film. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers yet. When will the shooting of Mirzapur movie begin?
According to reports, the film Mirzapur will be shot at real locations in Mumbai and Banaras to add depth to the story. It will also feature scenes shot in the desert regions of Rajasthan, possibly including locations like Jodhpur or Jaisalmer.

Mahua Moitra Confesses To Having A Huge Crush On Mirzapurs Kaleen Bhaiya Aka Pankaj Tripathi

New Delhi: In a candid revelation, Trinamool Congress MP who is known for speaking her mind, Mahua Moitra confessed to having a major crush on actor Pankaj Tripathi. In a conversation with India today's Podcast, Mahua talked about her favourite films from Bollywood. Mahua Moitra's Huge Crush Mahua said, "I watched the Munnabhai series, and I will watch it again. I watched Vicky Donor, and I loved it. I love Pankaj Tripathi. I watched the entire Mirzapur series. I even wrote him a note, which he never replied to, but yes, I wrote him a note. He is my crush. I think he is the coolest actor. I love the mean bad roles he does. I loved him in Mirzapur, even in Gangs of Wasseypur." On A Coffee Date With Pankaj Tripathi On being asked what she wrote in a note, Mahua replied, "I said I am a big fan and I would love to meet you for a coffee. But apparently, he stays in Alibaug, and he doesn't meet anyone for coffee. This happened when KI was being interviewed by an anchor, she said I am going to interview him next, Pankaj Tripathi. So I asked her to give him a note." In fact, she even asked fellow MP-actor Ravi Kishan to facilitate a telephone conversation with Pankaj, and Mohua admits she was so shy while talking to him that she forgot about having sent him a note as well. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Despite society's judgment, Neena stood strong. Today, she's celebrated not just for films like 'Badhaai Ho' and 'Metro… In Dino', but also for her honesty about her personal journey, especially as a single mother. Raising Masaba on her own One of the most emotional parts of Neena's journey has been explaining Richards' absence to Masaba as she grew up. In an interview with Bombay Times back in 2015, the 'Uunchai' actress opened up about how hard it was for Masaba when her father wasn't around or in touch. 'I told her how her father is not a family man and how he was like this and this. In the beginning, she would feel bad that Vivian was not in touch with her till the age of about 20, but then he got in touch. His problem also is that he is not net savvy and so, it is very difficult to get in touch with him,' she explained. An unpredictable connection Neena spoke openly about how Vivian's involvement was inconsistent. Sometimes, he'd show up or call, sometimes, he wouldn't. As she added, 'Sometimes, he would call her on her birthday and sometimes, he would not call for even three years. Sometimes, he would come here and meet and sometimes not. By then, I knew him and how he was.' The 'Goodbye' actress further explained, 'If I told him I needed something, he would go mad finding it to bring it for me, but on his own, he would not bring anything. He is a person who cannot express his emotions.' A soft side of Viv Richards Despite everything, Neena had kind things to say about Vivian. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now She remembered watching him play a cricket match in Jaipur, where his team lost by just one run. She recalled, 'I was in Jaipur watching a match in which he was playing. They lost the match by a run and as a captain, I saw him almost crying and I liked that about him. He is a very nice guy, down-to-earth, disciplined, but you can expect only that much from him. I feel that God gave me my father instead of him. ' Neena Gupta's recent projects Neena's acting career continues to shine. She was recently seen in the film 'Metro… In Dino', directed by Anurag Basu, where she starred alongside , , Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal and .
