Bombshell announcement Taylor Swift fans think singer will make in rumored appearance on Travis Kelce and brother Jason's podcast
Swifties were left convinced that the songstress could finally be making a highly-anticipated appearance on Travis and his brother Jason's New Heights podcast after the hit show dropped a cryptic clue on Monday morning.
New Heights' official X account shared a post revealing that the podcast would return from its temporary summer break for a one-off episode with a 'VERY special guest' on Wednesday at 7pm ET.
And, despite the podcast's attempts to protect the guest's anonymity, not only were the pop sensation's fans convinced she would be returning to the public eye on the show but that she has a very specific reason for stepping back into the spotlight.
New Heights' announcement was followed by a teaching post from Taylor Nation - the singer's in-house marketing and public relations team - which read: 'Thinking about when she said "See you next era…"'
The account added fuel to the fire by following it up with four images of the 'Anti-Hero' hitmaker in orange outfits - the same color as the background of New Heights' promo graphic.

Two more batches of four similar photos followed, taking the total to 12, which would be the number of the singer's next album.
'TS12 IS ACTUALLY COMING THIS IS NOT A DRILL WHATS THE PROCEDURE!!,' one fan wrote.
'She's announcing ts12 on the pod isn't she…….,' another social media user questioned.
'travis looking to his left with his Taylor Smile, jason wearing merch, i can see the bangs from a mile away……but most importantly, the background… …..ts12 confirmed to be orange alert the troops,' a third theorized.
'We're gonna get the ts12 announcement on the 13th day of August on an episode of New Heights WHAT IS LIFE,' gushed another fan.
Swift's ever-loyal fans had already been left spiraling into hysteria earlier on Monday morning as a cryptic clue left by Travis and Jason's podcast left them convinced the pop star would be making a long-awaited appearance on the hit show.
Swifties have long dreamed of a blockbuster appearance from the pop sensation, 35, on football's most famous siblings' podcast, 'New Heights'.
They have ceaselessly pounced on any announcement of a special guest from the show's social media channels, only to be left sorely disappointed when the likes of Adam Sandler, Shaquille O'Neal or Brad Pitt feature instead.

However, undeterred, the ever-loyal fans of the songstress believe their wish could finally be granted this week.
The post didn't reveal who exactly would be making a VIP appearance on the show, which will air at 7pm ET on Wednesday, as it blacked out the special guest in the promo picture, leaving them as an outline while Travis and Jason were made visible.
Yet, despite the podcast's efforts to maintain their anonymity, Swifties were convinced that the outline belongs to Swift, who has been dating Travis for over a year.
Others believed a clue lay in Jason's choice of clothing. They pointed to the fact that the retired Philadelphia Eagles legend was wearing a t-shirt from Swift's merchandise line.
Meanwhile, some claimed that there was a major Easter egg in the episode's release date, the 13th, which happens to be Swift's favorite number.
'That looks like a Taylor silhouette if I've ever seen one,' one fan account replied to the New Heights post.
'the orange glitter background, [Travis's] smile…i'm too scared to believe but i think yes,' another hopeful fan wrote.
Many Swifties believe that orange will be the new color scheme of the 14-time Grammy Award winner's 12th studio album 'era'.

For others, the adoring way that Travis happened to looking in the promo graphic left them convinced that the only person the guest could possibly be was his A-List girlfriend.
'THE ERAS MERCH. AN IN PERSON TRAVIS EPISODE. HIS LOOK. oh my god,' one claimed.
'that's a female and travis only looks at one person that way…,' another insisted, clearly inferring that it was Swift.
While the Kansas City Chiefs star has frequently opened up on his relationship with the 'Fortnight' singer on the podcast, Swift herself has yet to make an appearance.
However, Jason, who retired from the NFL at the end of the 2023 season, has refused to rule out the possibility of Swift joining her beau on the show.
Speaking at an Amazon event on the Upper West Side of NYC in May, the former center was asked who he'd like to have most on the podcast.

Jason's wife Kylie, whom he shares four daughters with, has made multiple appearances on the podcast, even sharing the story of how the couple mnet via Tinder.
The brothers' parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, have also made separate guest appearances on the show.

Iles died Friday after a decades-long battle with the blood cancer multiple myeloma, his literary agent Dan Conaway posted Saturday on Facebook. Many of his stories are set in Mississippi, including the 'Natchez Burning' trilogy, historical fiction suspense novels exploring race and class in the 1960s Jim Crow South. Conaway described Iles as 'warm, funny, fearless, and completely sui generis.' 'To be on the other end of the phone as he talked through character and plot, problem-solving on the fly, was to be witness to genius at work, plain and simple,' he wrote on Saturday.
