New York Post26-06-2025
A $30,000 reward is being offered on the whereabouts of the anti-Israel menace accused of torching nearly a dozen NYPD cars and causing $800,000 in damages in Brooklyn earlier in the month.
Jakhi Lodgson-McCray, 21, who has been arrested a number of times at protests, allegedly set fire to 11 cop cars in a Bushwick parking lot on June 12 — and has not been seen since, cops said.

Numerous law enforcement agencies — NYPD Crime Stoppers, US Marshals and ATF — are offering reward money for the accused firebug's arrest and conviction, the NYPD announced Wednesday.
Lodgson-McCray also allegedly destroyed a statue, leading to over $1,000 in damage during a protest at Columbia University in September, according to the NYPD.

'We believe, based on his social media, that he's very active in the protest community, involving the Free Palestine movement,' NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said after the arson incident near Patrol Borough Brooklyn North headquarters.
He's believed to have acted alone during his targeted attack.
'We have him on video for about 40 minutes prior to the incident. He is by himself, and, like I said, a substantial video canvass after the fact, where we track him all the way back to Manhattan,' Kenny told reporters.
3 Suspected arsonist Jakhi Lodgson-McCray has not been seen since allegedly setting fire to 11 police vehicles.

'Several times during his escape, he changes his clothing.'
'He's wearing a hoodie cinched up so you can't see his face, and wearing a mask,' he added. 'But we do believe that he acted alone, and obviously he targeted this location because it is a police facility.'
Logson-McCray was previously arrested for resisting arrest at an anti-ICE protest last month. He's also been cuffed at several anti-Israel demonstrations, according to records.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact @NYPDTips or call 1-800-577-TIPS.

Collapse of Tish James' civil-fraud case vs. Trump is the latest blow to Dem lawfare

Chalk up another win for President Donald Trump over Democrats who tried to destroy him with lawfare. On Thursday, a New York appellate court tossed the ludicrous half-billion-dollar penalty imposed on Trump in state Attorney General Letitia James' utterly political civil-fraud case. The ridiculously enormous fine was meant to hamstring him as he ran for president, though James and trial-court Judge Arthur Engoron pretended it was about warning others not to imitate his supposedly fraudulent actions. Actions that harmed . . . exactly no one. The penalty 'is an excessive fine that violates the Eighth Amendment,' wrote the judges. Their decision doesn't void Engoron's finding that Trump defrauded lenders and insurers by overestimating the value of his assets, though the Court of Appeals (the state's top court) may do so. But either way it makes the case appear even more pointless than it already was. After all, Trump warned the bankers, etc., that those estimates weren't audited and assumed they'd do their own due diligence. And indeed, none of them ever complained, let alone sued Trump on their own. Indeed, two of the five appellate judges found serious errors in the trial proceedings and sought a re-do; one, David Friedman, said the whole case merits immediate dismissal. 'Plainly, [James'] ultimate goal was not 'market hygiene,'' fumed Friedman, 'but political hygiene, ending with the derailment of President Trump's political career and the destruction of his real estate business.' 'The voters have obviously rendered a verdict on his political career. This bench today unanimously derails the effort to destroy his business.' Hear, hear. Remember, James campaigned on promises to find something (anything!) to target Trump for — a witch-hunt, that is, that should have disqualified her from the start. These nothingburger civil charges were the best she could find; if they'd wound up before a less-biased judge than Engoron, they would've died long ago. Meanwhile, the two federal criminal cases against Trump are now kaput; the Georgia state prosecution imploded, too. In the one criminal case where Trump was found guilty (in deeply anti-Trump Manhattan), the judge socked him with . . . no penalties whatsoever — and the prez is appealing that decision, too, on overwhelmingly strong grounds. As Judge Friedman suggested, Democrats thought if they couldn't stop Trump through normal democratic means, they'd get the courts to stop him (to save 'democracy'!). They failed on both fronts. Maybe some day soon they'll give up lawfare and other schemes, and focus on finding viable political ideas and candidates that voters can get behind on the merits.

Unique tattoo could be key in solving mystery of skeletal remains discovered in a bag in NYC

Police hope a distinctive tattoo of a rose will help them identify the skeletal remains of a petite woman found in a trash bag along the Jackie Robinson Highway earlier this month. The NYPD on Thursday released a photo of the ink as well as several pictures of jewelry belonging to the victim, believed to have been a black or Hispanic woman between 20 and 30 years old, standing between 4-foot-5 and 5-foot-2. She had dark brown curly hair with bleached ends, with the rose tattoo on her upper left buttocks.
