Celebrity Moms Who've Opened Up About Their Plastic Surgery

Celebrity Moms Who've Opened Up About Their Plastic Surgery

Yahoo2 days ago

By now, it's basically common knowledge that many celebrities go under the knife and needle. But while having work done isn't necessarily a rarity anymore, talking about it somehow still remains fairly taboo. However, several celebrity moms who've had plastic surgery have addressed their decision in recent years — and, in the process, are helping to break down the stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures. Because, really, what someone decides to do with their body is their choice, right?
Not to mention, women shouldn't feel ashamed about embracing their personal agency, especially when it helps empower and uplift them. What's so wonderful about these celebrity moms telling their plastic surgery stories is that they highlight the realities of choosing to alter your body in this way (both positive and negative outcomes), which will help other women make their own informed decisions. Chrissy Teigen has been candid about her decision to have her breast implants removed. Jessica Simpson speaks frankly in her memoir about going for a tummy tuck after having three children because her stretch marks and loose skin made her feel self-conscious. Heidi Montag has cautioned fans against having 10 procedures in one day like she did.
It all comes down to choice and, in that sense, we're partial to Cardi B's take on the topic: 'Listen, I do whatever the f— I want to do with my body.' Speak on it, Mama! So, whether you're considering having a little nip and tuck or you're just curious, keep reading to discover which Hollywood moms have copped to having work done.

In an episode of The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner got candid about her plastic surgery decisions in the past. After revealing she got her breasts done when she was 19, Jenner admitted she totally regrets it. 'I wish I never got them done, to begin with,' Jenner said, per People. '[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.'
In June 2025, she revealed what she had done after a fan asked on TikTok. '445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!!' the Kylie Cosmetics founder wrote. 'Silicone!!! [Dr.] Garth Fisher!!! Hope this helps lol.'
Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Lindsay Arnold has been open with fans about getting a breast lift and augmentation.
'My Christmas present this year is that I'm getting a breast augmentation,' Arnold said in a TikTok in December 2024. 'Guys, I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out okay, but I'm also so excited.'
'I am also getting a lift. So it's gonna be a lift and augmentation,' she explained. 'I'm very excited, but I'm not going to lie, like it is kinda scary.'
By January 2025, Arnold was glowing while showing off her results on TikTok.
Meghan Trainor got candid in an appearance on the Workin' on Upgrades podcast with her brother Ryan Trainor in November 2024. During their talk, Trainor talked about her plastic surgery plans.
'I'm getting a boob job because my mommy boobies were full of milk and now they're empty and then they're full of milk and now they're empty,' she said, per E! News. As a reminder, Trainor shares kids Riley, born in 2020, and Barry, born in 2023, with husband Daryl Sabara.
'They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small,' she said. 'I've lost some weight, and I have, like, saggy sacks as boobs.'
'I've always joked and said for years, like, 'I can't wait till I can get a boob job,'' she added. 'It might be new for all of our listeners but I have wanted this my whole life so I'm going to have boobies that don't look at the floor.'
Talking to the Telegraph in June 2023, And Just Like That star Kristin Davis opened up about the work she's had done in the past. At first, she started with Botox to minimize the appearance of wrinkles. 'I was super-excited, I didn't have to have my lateral lines,' she said. 'But I didn't do anything else for a long time.'
Later on, Davis experimented with fillers, a move that's been highly criticized on social media. 'I have done fillers and it's been good and I've done fillers and it's been bad,' she remembered. 'I've had to get them dissolved and I've been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It's very stressful.'
Nowadays, Davis admitted she mostly doesn't have time to keep up with it all. 'I can't keep it up. I don't have time,' she said. 'You're trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong – [as if] I jabbed a needle in my face…'
While talking to Women's Health in March 2023, actress Hayden Panettiere opened up about having a breast reduction in November 2022. 'I don't think there's anything wrong with somebody who wants to tweak something if it makes them feel more confident,' she said. 'That's all I have to say about it. My confidence is back.'
Plastic surgery speculation has long followed Khloé Kardashian. But she was completely unashamed and unafraid to share what type of plastic surgery she'd explored. 'Everyone says, 'Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant.' But I've had one nose job, [with] Dr. Raj Kanodia,' Kardashian shared during the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion special. Kardashian also admitted to having injections, but said she 'responded horribly to Botox.'
The Real Housewives of Potomac's Dr. Wendy Osefo was so pleased with her decision to go under the knife for a breast augmentation. 'I breastfed all three of my children for over a year and that takes a toll on your body, so this is one of the first things I've ever done for myself,' she shared during the season 6 premiere, per Bravo TV.
'Being a professor and being a commentator, you are supposed to fit into a certain box, and I've always felt like I'm trapped,' she continued. 'But now, I get to be my authentic self. I'm loving it.'
Kyle Richards was totally comfortable coming clean on her plastic surgery procedure back in November 2020. 'Since so many of you were speculating what I did or did not do to my face … here is your answer. I fixed my nose,' she said on her Instagram Stories, per Page Six.
'I broke it last September and the bone poking out bothered me. So I fixed the bone, fixed my breathing problems and refined the top,' the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote, adding, 'I will always tell you guys the truth.'
Teresa Giudice has pretty much always been an open book, and in January 2021 she opened up about her breast augmentation. 'I believe it's important to always stand strong and feel like your best most confident self. 10 Years after my first Breast Augmentation I decided to have my breasts re-done,' she began her January 2020 Instagram post, adding that she 'could not be happier with the results.'
In 2020, Jessica Simpson admitted that she'd had two tummy tuck procedures after having her kids.
'I wanted to get rid of the stretch marks and loose skin left sagging from my back-to-back pregnancies,' Simpson revealed in her memoir, Open Book.
'I was so ashamed of my body at this point that I wouldn't let Eric see me without a white T-shirt on.'
Chrissy Teigen removed her breast implants in 2020, telling Glamour UK that the purpose they'd served while she was modeling no longer applied.
'I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,' she recalled. 'It was more of a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.'
In May 2010, Kourtney Kardashian made it clear that, yes, she's gotten breast implants. And she doesn't care who knows it.
'I have had breast implants, but it's so funny 'cause it's not a secret, I couldn't care less,' Kardashian told Nightline.
Angelina Jolie's journey to plastic surgery was a little more unusual — after her preventative double mastectomy, she got her breasts reconstructed with the help of implants.
'Nine weeks later, the final surgery is completed with the reconstruction of the breasts with an implant,' she wrote in the New York Times in 2013. 'There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years, and the results can be beautiful.'
'I wanted to get breast implants when I was 18, but my mom and Beyoncé's mom told me to really think about it first,' Kelly Rowland told Shape in 2013.
'I took their advice and waited 10 years,' Rowland continued.
And in her book Whoa Baby, the mom wrote she'd be open to getting another boob job after having more kids.
If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, you'll know that Kris Jenner got a facelift back in 2011, just before daughter Kim's wedding.
Tyra Banks admitted to People in 2018 that she'd had a nose job: 'I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching…I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery,' she said. 'I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.'
Iggy Azalea confirmed to Seventeen in 2015 that she'd gotten both a nose job and breast augmentations.
'I'm not denying it. Denying it is lame,' she said. 'I don't think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I've spoken about the changes I've made, like with my breasts.'
Victoria Beckham told Vogue in 2017 that she regretted her decision to get breast implants, writing, 'And I should probably say, don't mess with your boobs.'
'All those years I denied it — stupid. A sign of insecurity,' she reflected. 'Just celebrate what you've got.'
In 2010, Jane Fonda wrote about why she was candid about her plastic surgery on her blog: 'Bob Evans complimented me on my new, short haircut, and I said: 'Thanks. I just had some 'work' done on my chin and neck and had the bags taken away from under my eyes so I decided it would be good to get a new hair cut so people will think it's my new hair.''
Yes, Cardi B has had plastic surgery, and she's definitely not here for your opinion. 'Listen, I do whatever the f– I want to do with my body,' she said on an Instagram Live. 'Let me tell you something, b—. I don't have the time of day like you do. Like, my job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I don't have time to work out and I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out…Like my boobs, no matter how much I work out, they were not gonna lift themselves. So yeah, I had to get f— surgery.'
Sharon Osbourne's memoir Unbreakable details a facelift, neck lift, vaginal rejuvenation, and more.
'There's not much I haven't had tweaked, stretched, peeled, lasered, veneered, enhanced or removed altogether,' she wrote.
Jamie Lee Curtis may be a plastic surgery pro, but that doesn't mean she's a fan: 'I've done it all. I've had a little plastic surgery. I've had a little lipo,' she told The Telegraph in 2002.
'I've had a little Botox,' she continued. 'And you know what? None of it works. None of it.'
Heidi Montag famously underwent 10 procedures in one day in 2010 while on The Hills, including a brow lift, nasal reconstruction, butt lift, breast augmentation, liposuction, and more. By 2013, Montag admitted she may have gone overboard.
'It just sounds so minor when you have a surgeon describing so much of it to you, like, 'OK, great, a little of this, a little of that,'' she told Us Weekly.
'You're not told the recovery time and the mental strain that it will put on you.'
NeNe Leakes told People in 2010 that she'd had a nose job, liposuction, and breast implants. 'I still wanted to look like NeNe, the black woman that I am, but a better version,' she said.
'Yeah I got my nose fixed,' Courtney Love told Jimmy Kimmel on his show in 2014. 'In six months, the whole world changed.'
Patricia Heaton has been totally upfront about her plastic surgery, telling People in 2003: 'It's better to be honest if you can. There is a lot in Hollywood that is not as it seems. I had four C-sections and my stomach looked like the map of the world. My breasts were hanging down to here from breastfeeding those babies, and my nipples were like platters. I wanted to fit into the gowns that I finally got to wear.'
'When I was 30, I was getting a divorce, I had just finished House Bunny and I'd sold another movie,' Anna Farris told Women's Health in 2018.
'All of these new things were happening to me, so I got my breasts done, [and] it was f— awesome.'
'I always thought plastic surgery was caving in to 'the man,' you know? But it came down to a really simple thing: I wanted to fill out a bikini,' she continued. 'I think that people should be able to do whatever they want.'

Kirsten Dunst Scared To Kiss Josh Hartnett In Virgin Suicides

Kirsten Dunst was just 16 when she portrayed the rebellious Lux Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides. In the film, which is an adaptation of Jeffrey Eugenides's novel, Kirsten's character engages in a brief romance with Trip Fontaine, played by Josh Hartnett. Kirsten has spoken at length about feeling incredibly worried when it came to shooting intimate scenes with Josh, who was 19 when the film was made. Last year, she told GQ that one particular scene — which saw her passionately making out with Josh in a car — made her 'the most nervous,' adding that she was 'mortified' when she realized she had accidentally bitten him during filming. Fast forward to today, and Kirsten, 43, has opened up further about what it was like shooting these uncomfortable scenes while attending a special screening of The Virgin Suicides in LA in honor of the film's 25th anniversary. Per People, the actor recalled feeling worried when she first read the script at age 16, telling the audience, 'It was a lot of things that I was feeling that I hadn't expressed. They were very private.' 'I was worried about kissing Josh in the car and making out with boys on the roof,' she recalled. 'Which Sof didn't make me do. She was like, 'Just nuzzle into their shoulder and we'll shoot it abstractly.' But I hadn't entered this side of my own personality, even though it was there.' Speaking of shooting the car takeout scene, Kirsten admitted that she found it 'terrifying' as an 'innocent' 16-year-old. 'That was a really memorable night. So I was waiting, [Sofia was] like, 'Okay, you can go.' And I had to jump on Josh in a car, which — I was a very innocent 16-year-old — was terrifying,' she said. Adam Scott's Grown Daughter Just Posted A TikTok With Him, And People Genuinely Can't Believe He's Old Enough To Be Her Dad

People have been left absolutely stunned after Adam Scott made a surprise appearance in his daughter's TikTok video on Wednesday, with many admitting that they had no idea he is old enough to have a 16-year-old child. Francesca Scott introduced her famous dad to her followers in a video that used a viral audio clip of Kim Kardashian describing her week's plans to Scott Disick. 'Me informing my dad about my weekend plans,' Francesca wrote, while lip-syncing: 'I have a busy week.' The camera then pans to Adam, who looks unimpressed as he lip-syncs Scott's part, asking: 'Do you?' 'Thursday, Nobu. Vegas Friday — then I have a spray tan at 8.45,' Francesca's part continues, with Adam being shown again as he lip-syncs: 'Oh my god, things are filling up!' Related: Keke Palmer's "Sickening" Dress Has The Internet In Shambles The TikTok has already been viewed more than four million times in just 24 hours, and has racked up over 700k likes and thousands of comments — with everybody saying the same thing about 52-year-old Adam. TikTok @francescascottspamtiktok / Via 'It appears that I've severely underestimated Adam Scott's age,' the top comment reads. 'I'm shocked Adam Scott has a daughter this old,' somebody else wrote, while another joked: 'How is Adam Scott my age who also has a daughter that's my age.' 'Adam Scott has been 35 to me for the last 20yrs. Paul Rudd level aging,' one more wrote. Somebody else exclaimed: 'there is no way adam scott is someones dad !🤔,' while another added: 'This was me finding out he's 52 omg he hasn't aged since parks and rec.' 'How the fuck is ur dad adam Scott that just seems unfathomable to me,' one more asked. Somebody else admitted: 'I've really never thought about how old Adam was until now.' However, Adam's age probably shouldn't be too surprising, as while he is undeniably best known for his starring role in Severance at the moment, he has been pretty established in the acting industry since the '90s. In 1994, he landed a recurring role as Griff in the hit sitcom Boy Meets World, and he has been working regularly ever since. In addition to Severance, Adam's most famous projects include the movie Step Brothers in 2008, and his portrayal of the beloved character Ben Wyatt in Parks & Recreation, which he joined in 2010.
