Barcelona boss Hansi Flick suffers training ground injury

A trip to Son Moix to face RCD Mallorca awaits Flick and his men, who will no doubt be eager to get the defence of their Spanish top-flight title up-and-running in positive fashion.
As alluded to above, however, amid efforts to ramp things up on Thursday, the Blaugrana's headmaster suffered a minor personal setback.
Whilst on the pitches at the Ciutat Esportiva, Flick fell awkwardly, injuring his right hand in the process.
As per a report from MD:
'The German coach fell and, as he went to rest on his hand on the ground, injured himself, and was treated by Dr. Ricard Pruna. Flick is wearing a splint on the back of his right hand and wrist.'
The former Bayern Munich boss, after being tended to, quickly got back to work in putting his squad through their paces in training.

Sophie Cunningham ruled out of Fever's overtime win over Sun after going down with a knee injury
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Connecticut Sun with a knee injury, marking the latest injury to a Fever squad that has already been decimated. The injury occurred during the second quarter when Connecticut guard Bria Hartley drove to the basket but fell and collided with Cunningham's leg on her way down. Cunningham stayed down clutching her right knee and visibly in pain as the rest of the team went to the other side of the court. She was helped off the court and into the locker room, wearing a towel over her head. Cunningham's injury is just the latest for the Fever, who have lost most of their guards due to injury. After Cunningham went down, the Fever battled back to a 99-93 overtime win. Despite Connecticut being up by as many as 21 points, Indiana forced OT after a stellar 32-point fourth quarter.
