Terrifier director teases role for WWE legend in gruesome horror franchise
The fourth and final instalment of the creepy franchise is currently in the works, and will pick up where last year's scare-fest left off – with Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) terrorizing Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) and her loved ones once again.
Fans have been desperate for more from the serial killer and it turns out that Rhea Ripley is right there with them, having shared her hopes that she could become one of his on-screen victims.
During a recent interview with YouTuber Chris Van Vliet, the 28-year-old declared: 'Oh, I would love that. I want to be in Terrifier [4] so badly.
'It's the last one, Damien said that this is going to be the last one. Yeah. Kill me. Kill me, I don't care.'
Emphasizing her love for the franchise, Rhea also shared her excitement at possibly meeting David, the man behind Art the Clown, but feared that she would be 'too annoying' and fan girl over him.
'David, good old Art the Clown, I want to meet him so bad. I'm just waiting for that day,' she continued. 'I've been trying to get him to come watch WWE, and it's just like our schedules just don't line up.
'But one day I will meet him, and I hope that I'm not too annoying. I really hope I'm not too annoying. I love my fans, but I really hope that they haven't made my name stale to him.
'He's probably heard it over and over and over again, 'Do you know Rhea Ripley?' He's like, 'Yes, I know Rhea Ripley.' So I'm excited to meet him one day.'
Responding to her comments on Twitter, filmmaker Damien suggested she could meet her hero very soon on set.
He simply said: 'The wheels are turning @RheaRipley_WWE.'

The first Terrifier film was released in 2016, with the follow-up premiering in 2022.
The third instalment was released in US cinemas at the end of 2024, with cinemas issuing warnings to ticket-holders over the seriously grim scenes – amid reports of some viewers vomiting or walking out.
Rhea wouldn't be the first star from the wrestling world to appear in the Terrifier franchise if she does land a role, as Chris Jericho has already claimed that title.
He briefly popped up in Terrifier 2, before Art killed him in last year's sequel.
Other details for the movie are tightly under wraps but Damien previously shed light on what we can expect, promising: 'The script for Terrifier 4 is in the works and it's shaping up to be a most epic, thrilling, nasty, horrifying, emotional and utterly satisfying conclusion.' More Trending
Appearing at Texas Frightmare Weekend, he later declared: 'I know this word gets used a lot, but it's going to be epic, it's not going to disappoint.
'You're going to get Art's backstory in the first 15 minutes.'
Bring it on!

Hulk Hogan was 'devastated' by boos during final WWE appearance before death
Wrestling star Hulk Hogan, who died aged 71 this month, was 'devastated' by the negative reaction from the crowd during his final WWE appearance Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was 'devastated' by the boos he heard from the audience during his final WWE appearance before his death aged 71. The star was found "experiencing a serious medical-related issue" in a house on Eldorado Avenue in Florida and was taken to Morton Plant Hospital in the morning of July 24. He died at 11.17am in the hospital, and there were "no signs of foul play or suspicious activity", Major Nate Burnside said in a statement. It was recently reported that the wrestler died from acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Centre. The star, real name Terry Bollea, was said to be poorly in the weeks leading up to his death, but his reps were forced to deny speculations about his health. It comes after Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears at Ozzy's funeral in heartbreaking scenes. Meanwhile, six months before he died, Hogan took to the stage at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, for a guest appearance in Netflix's WWE series Raw. His longtime pal and manager, Jimmy Hart, recently said Hogan was shocked by the negative reaction he received from the audience and claimed it "bothered him". Speaking on the Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw podcast, Jimmy explained: "We go out and we had a mixed reaction. You can have 500 people cheering you and one person booing you, but I'll be darned if that one person doesn't outshine [the people cheering]. "It's a mixed reaction, but it's a little bit more boos than anything. That devastated him." The manager suggested the boos were due to the wrestler's support for controversial US President Donald Trump. Hogan previously appeared at the Republican National Convention to back the convicted felon's return to the White House. Jimmy added: "We got in the back and he said: 'What do you think happened?' I said: 'Hulk, it's simple, blue state, red state. Boom'. "But that bothered him because of that ... Then the next week we're in Texas, and it's all cheers, you know, but that always bothered him. It sure did." During the appearance, he was heard telling the unimpressed crowd: "In the past, I've had a whole bunch of partners down the line. I had incredible partners, like the Macho Man Randy Savage. I've had giant-sized partners like Andre the Giant. "But the greatest partner the WWE has ever had is the fact that tonight, we're making history, and the WWE has tag teamed up with Netflix, the greatest tag team partner of all time." Hogan's death last week was confirmed by the WWE, who posted a statement on X saying: 'WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture's most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans." Hogan headlined the first Wrestlemania in 1985 and faced The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, during the event in 2002. His last WWE match was against Randy Orton at SummerSlam in 2006.

Hulk Hogan was 'devastated' by final WWE appearance, manager reveals
By Hulk Hogan's fall from grace within the wrestling world left him devastated, his former manager has revealed. Just six months before his death, Hogan attempted to make a triumphant return to the WWE at Monday Night Raw back in January. However, the wrestling icon's appearance did not go to plan. Instead, Hogan was met with resounding boos from the 17,000-plus fans in Los Angeles. Hogan died at the age of 71 last week after suffering a heart attack at his home in Clearwater, Florida. It was also revealed that the wrestling icon had been privately battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia. 'I said, 'Hulk, it's simple. Blue state, red state. Trump, Vance. I mean, really?'' said Hart, who noted Hogan received cheers the next week during an event in Texas. Hart said he began to notice the hostile atmosphere the moment Hogan stepped off the plane in Los Angeles, claiming fans began to almost immediately taunt the wrestling legend with jobs about Trump and Vance. Hogan had made his appearance primarily to promote his beverage 'Real American Beer'. WWE announced a multi-year partnership with Hogan's beer the day before RAW and the logo was plastered on the ring mat during the show. Ron DeSantis declares August 1 'Hulk Hogan day'
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has declared August 1st as ' Hulk Hogan Day' in tribute to the late wrestling star. The WWE icon died at the age of 71 on Thursday after suffering fatal cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida - with tributes quickly pouring in for the wrestling star. Now, DeSantis - who had a strong relationship with Hogan - has offered his own tribute and insisted that there will be a day to celebrate the WWE icon. DeSantis said: 'On Thursday, July 24, 2025, Florida resident and legendary professional wrestler Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, passed away. 'His larger-than-life personality will be missed, as the "Hulkster" was an icon for many who grew up in the 80s and 90s as well as today. He was a true Floridian through and through. 'In honor of a great Floridian, Hulk Hogan, we are lowering the flags at the capitol and in Pinellas County tomorrow. 'Additionally, I am officially declaring tomorrow, August 1st, 2025, as 'Hulk Hogan Day' in Florida. Rest in peace, brother'. The passing of the WWE superstar was felt across the country, with tributes from those within the sport - and outside of it - flooding in. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson paid a heartfelt tribute to his 'childhood hero' in an Instagram video where he said: ' Rest in Peace, Terry Bollea aka The Immortal Hulk Hogan. To millions of little kids you were a childhood hero - myself included. 'In 1984, I gave you your 'HULKSTER' headband back, in the locker room in Madison Square Garden - I was the lucky kid [who] caught it when you threw it in the crowd. You were wrestling 'Mr Wonderful',' Paul Orndorff that night in the main event. 'You were shocked and so happy after the match because you told me that was your very last headband and if it weren't for me, you'd have no way of getting that exact one made again. You promised me that you would get more made and give me a Hulkster headband of my own as a thank you gift. 'A month later in Madison Square Garden, you did just that. You kept your word, with a handshake and a 'thanks kid'. And that meant the world to that little 12 year old boy. 'Just 17 years later, and still a kid at the age of 29 years old — I'm standing in the middle of the ring and facing you - one of my wrestling heroes in the main event of WRESTLEMANIA. 'The match was to decide who would go down in history, as The Greatest of All Time'. However, in contrast, Hogan's estranged daughter Brooke has taken aim at the WWE following the wrestling legend's sudden death last week. While Hogan's devastated son, Nick, 35, joined WWE stars for the emotional tribute ahead of Monday's event , Brooke, 37, has been noticeably absent from both ceremonies. However, while firing back at critics of her absence, the television personality claimed it was through no fault of her own. 'For those of you giving me [expletive] for not attending my Dad's tributes, @WWE did not extend an invite,' she wrote on her Instagram story Wednesday. Daily Mail has contacted WWE for comment. Furthermore, Florida county school board chair Sarah Rockwell sparked outrage after making shocking comments about Hogan's death on social media. In a post on Facebook , Rockwell wrote: 'Oh did Hulk die? I didn't even know. Good. One less MAGA in the world'. In a follow-up comment, she wrote: '[H]e worked with the McMahons to union bust professional wrestling. '[H]e's never been a good guy. I feel absolutely nothing about his death.' After the comments went viral on social media, Rockwell swiftly deleted them before later issuing a statement apologizing for the 'flippant' remarks. She wrote: 'A few days ago, I made a cruel and flippant comment from my personal Facebook account on a friend's post regarding the death of Hulk Hogan. I deeply regret making that comment and have since removed it. 'I want to make it very clear that I never have and never will wish harm on anyone regardless of whether we share political views. While I strongly disagree with some of the comments Hulk Hogan made, that is no excuse for my comment.' 'I also sincerely apologize for the way my comment has eroded confidence in my ability to represent all students, families, and staff in Alachua County. 'I want to assure all of you that the best interests of our children and our public schools are at the center of everything I do as a board member. I hope I have shown that by my record of advocacy for children, families, and staff members throughout Alachua County. 'Again, I apologize for the hurt and distrust I have caused with my insensitive comment. I will continue to do the hard work of putting our children and schools first. I hope that I can earn back your trust.'
