Photo byIsaiah Stanback spoke out during a segment of "Good Morning Football" and offered his expectation. He believes that third-round pick Dillon Gabriel will be traded.

"Dillon Gabriel most likely, to me, is going to be traded. I can't foresee him remaining on this roster because I believe in my heart that Shedeur Sanders is a better quarterback," he said.
"He was a better quarterback in college, and I think that he'll have a better showing when the preseason presents itself."
Gabriel being traded would be a surprise simply due to the fact that Cleveland spent a third-round pick on him in the 2025 NFL Draft. When that move was made, the rest of the NFL was extremely surprised to see him go so early. Many thought he would be a sixth-round pick.
Should this prediction become a reality, the Browns would be left with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Shedeur Sanders as their rotation of quarterbacks. Deshaun Watson would also be on the roster, but he isn't expected to play in 2025.
Quite a few teams around the league would likely have interest in acquiring a young quarterback like Gabriel. Cleveland would be unlikely to recoup the third-round pick the front office spent on him, but they could get a later-round selection.

Of course, this is just a prediction at this point. No one knows what is going to happen with the competition during training camp and preseason action.
Pickett is another popular name that has been suggested as a trade candidate. Some have named Sanders as a trade candidate, but that seems very unlikely. Flacco is a veteran the Browns seem to want in their quarterback room.
Only time will tell, but this is a situation to keep a close eye on. Gabriel might be able to prove this prediction to be incorrect, but he has his work cut out for him.

Mahomes will be 32 years old at the start of the 2028 Summer Olympics. Brady will be 50. While Mahomes might be on the sidelines, other current NFL players gushed about the potential opportunity to participate. 'Flag football players may be upset at me for this, but yes, I would absolutely love it,' Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jonestold ESPN last month. 'Every other sport gets an opportunity to win a gold medal, and if you're not serving your country in the military, I feel like that's the other highest honor that you can represent your country in.' Jones' teammate, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, said the idea of playing in the Olympics is one he will 'have to weigh in a little bit.'' 'It's three years from now, it's three whole seasons that I'm going to have to go through,' Jefferson, 25, told ESPN. 'Of course, getting older, body is going to be different, but that's definitely always been a dream.
