Charli quietly announced the couple's engagement in November 2023Charli xcx and George Daniel are married!
The "Party 4 U" singer, 32, and The 1975 drummer, 35, tied the knot in a ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London on Saturday, July 19.
The longtime loves kept their nuptials low-key, saying "I do" in front of a small group of loved ones, including Charli's parents and Daniel's bandmates (minus frontman Matty Healy). Photos of the London nuptials show the couple smiling and sharing a kiss on the front steps of the town hall.
For the intimate ceremony, Daniel wore a simple suit and Charli wore a silky, off-the-shoulder midi dress and classic tulle veil, her sparkler on full display. (True to form, she also sported a pair of chunky, black sunglasses at one point after exiting the venue.)
Reps for Charli and Daniel did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on July 19.
The Brat hitmaker (whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison) quietly shared the news of her engagement to Daniel in November 2023, first posting a look at her ring on her private Instagram and later revealing their new relationship status in a post on her public Instagram.
The official announcement featured a set of photos of the alt-pop artist and her then-fiancé embracing, as well as an image of a tea tray with an engagement ring on it — a hint as to how Daniel popped the question.
Charli wrote in the caption of the post, "charli xcx and george daniel f---ing for life!!!"
Weeks after the engagement news, the "Von Dutch" singer shared on the Spout Podcast how Daniel has opened up her creative process as she discussed her sixth studio album, Brat, which was later released on June 7.
'We've done a couple of things together. He's not really all over it, but we've got a few ideas in the works,' she said of the pair's collaboration on parts of the album.
'It's funny, I have never sort of been in a relationship with someone that I've worked with, so it's like a whole new dynamic," the Grammy Award nominee continued. "But it's cool. There will be a couple of songs that he's worked on with me.'
Charli also spoke on the podcast about how Daniel and his The 1975 bandmates have inspired her to slow down her music-making process. "Generally in the past I have been very fast. That used to be part of my process, this spontaneous, instinctual thing," she explained.

However, since watching The 1975 work, she has switched things up. "I have definitely adapted to the idea of sitting on songs, reworking things, playing them to friends, going back and forth, kind of living with the songs a bit more. So that is one way that my process has been perfected," she said.
While Charli and Daniel enjoy collaborating, she told Rolling Stone U.K. that she can be "such a bitch in the studio" with him.
'We want to impress each other, and we think we're both really good, but I'm actually such a bitch in the studio with George,' she told the outlet in August 2024. 'Because we're obviously so close, you lose everything in terms of the normal studio boundaries.'
She added of Daniel, 'We flow really well, and he leaves a lot of space for people to breathe and be them and do their process.'
The British musicians first connected professionally in 2021 while working on the single 'Spinning" with The 1975 and No Rome. While it's unclear when they began dating, Charli confirmed their romance on Instagram in May 2022 after Daniel supported her at her Saturday Night Live performance that March.

Uma Thurman Says She Didn't Realize ‘Pulp Fiction' Would Be As Iconic When She Was Making It

Though now widely recognized as a seminal film with indelible cultural influence — sparking references, parodies and homages aplenty since its 1994 release — Pulp Fiction, created on a small seven-figure budget, wasn't something star Uma Thurman initially realized would have such a watershed impact. In a recent interview with The Times U.K., the Oscar nominee discussed her four-decade-plus career and turn alongside Charlize Theron in Victoria Mahoney's The Old Guard 2, released July 2 on Netflix. More from Deadline 'Squid Game' Is Still Blowing Up For Netflix Charlize Theron On Studios' "Risk" Aversion Toward Action Films With Female Leads: "Guys Will Get A Free Ride" 'Old Guard 2' Director Victoria Mahoney On Charlize Theron & Uma Thurman, Being #1, Sequels, 'Star Wars' & Miles Davis 'I knew it was special, you could tell from the writing, the uniqueness,' Thurman said of the Quentin Tarantino- helmed and written feature, 'but it was a relatively small film.' Amid its debut at Cannes, where it won the coveted Palme d'Or, Thurman had already been acting for 10 years. At 24, she starred as Mia Wallace, the wife to Ving Rhames' crime boss and an aspiring actress, for which she was Oscar nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category. Though her black bob cut, monochromatic attire and penchant for cigarettes comprised an iconic look for the era, Thurman wasn't Miramax's first choice for the project — with Michelle Pfeiffer, Meg Ryan, Holly Hunter and Rosanna Arquette being considered — and stated previously she was unsure about taking on the role. 'He wasn't this revered demigod auteur that he has grown into,' she told Vanity Fair previously, adding she was in a 'funny little slump' following the box office failure of Even Cowgirls Get the Blues and that the vulgarity of the film made her initially hesitant. 'And I wasn't sure I wanted to do it because I was worried about the gimp stuff. No one could believe I even hesitated in any way. Neither can I, in hindsight.' Elsewhere in her interview with The Times, Thurman spoke of her daughter, Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke, and how she avoids giving her professional advice: 'Oh, she knows what she's doing. She went to Juilliard, thank God. She actually finished high school. And what I did learn [about mothering] is that nobody listens. So it's really about being there for [my kids] rather than telling them what to do,' she said. Pulp Fiction, about two hitmen — portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta — and how their exploits intersect with the lives of a cast of characters existing in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, also stars Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken and Harvey Keitel. Considered Tarantino's magnum opus, the flick was nominated for seven Oscars, winning for Best Original Screenplay. Thurman can currently be seen flexing her Kill Bill-era action skills in The Old Guard 2 as well as Showtime's Dexter: Resurrection, now airing its first season. Christina Aguilera is gushing over Burlesque the Musical. On Saturday (July 19), the 44-year-old pop icon attended the stage adaptation of Steven Antin's 2010 film Burlesque, in which she starred as an aspiring performer opposite Cher, who played a glamorous nightclub owner. More from Billboard Christina Aguilera Says 'No One Deserves an Explanation' While Addressing Comments on Her Appearance Mariah Carey 'MC16' Album Details Coming Tomorrow Fans Choose BTS' 'Permission to Dance On Stage' Live Album as This Week's Favorite New Music Xtina documented her experience at London's Savoy Theatre and shared her reaction on social media. 'BLOWN AWAY!!!' she captioned an Instagram video of herself at the show, set to her track 'Show Me How You Burlesque,' from the original Burlesque soundtrack. The short clip shows Aguilera — an executive producer of the musical — smiling and clapping during the performance, with scenes from the production spliced throughout. 'My review of Burlesque the Musical,' the 'Genie in a Bottle' singer wrote over the video, adding five stars. After Saturday's show, Burlesque the Musical shared clips on Instagram of Aguilera arriving at the theater, waving to fans while wearing a sheer black outfit. 'What it is like to have a goddess in your life,' Antin captioned one video on his Instagram Story. 'Unbelievable night with @xtina [heart emoji] this queen so much for producing our show.' Burlesque marked Aguilera's first leading film role and Cher's debut musical performance on screen. In the movie, Aguilera plays Alice Marilyn, an aspiring singer who leaves her small Iowa hometown to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. She soon becomes a dancer and cocktail waitress at a struggling burlesque lounge owned by Tess Scali, played by Cher. The 10-song Burlesque soundtrack — featuring music written and produced by Diane Warren, Sia, Tricky Stewart, Ron Fair, Linda Perry and Aguilera — reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in 2010. Burlesque the Musical made its world premiere in June at the Manchester Opera House and is now playing at London's Savoy Theatre through early September. Written and produced by Antin, the stage adaptation features songs by Aguilera and Sia, along with new music by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley. Earlier this year, Aguilera shared her excitement about the project. 'I'm proud that Burlesque the Musical is coming to London's West End!' she said in a statement. 'Our journey of making this film to bringing this show to the stage has been so special and exciting. Following our successful previews, having the show land in the West End later this year is a dream come true!' Check out Aguilera's reaction to Burlesque the Musical on Instagram here.
