Andy Diouf favours Crystal Palace move, despite Burnley agreement
Yahoo08-07-2025
As reported by RMC Sport, Burnley have reached an agreement with RC Lens regarding the transfer of Andy Diouf (22). However, the France youth international favours a move to one of their Premier League rivals, according to L'Équipe.
Diouf is a long-term target for Crystal Palace and the Frenchman favours a move to the London club over Burnley, recently promoted back to the Premier League. The Clarets, unlike Crystal Palace, have an agreement in place with Les Sang et Or for a transfer worth €18m.

At this point, it looks highly likely that Diouf will leave Lens and that he will be playing in the Premier League next season. The question remains where. L'Équipe understands that Crystal Palace is seemingly the player's priority, however, the club have yet to reach an agreement with Les Sang et Or or the player. The France U21 international's current deal with Lens runs until the summer of 2028.
