Martin provides major Aasgaard Rangers injury update
Martin did not completely rule Aasgaard out for the first leg and remains hopeful he can overcome a race for fitness ahead of the crucial contest next week.

But, the Ibrox boss conceded the fixture might just come too soon as he voiced his hope for Aasgaard to at least be back and ready for the second leg should he be sidelined on Tuesday.
"It's disappointing for him and for us," Martin told Rangers TV.
"He has been everything we thought we were getting and more. Since he has been in he has been incredible.

"Unfortunately, it is a different level of intensity and it has been high demands in pre-season.
"He has picked up a little something so he is going to be touch and go.
"We hope he can be involved but if not then we are really hopeful he will be ready and raring to go for the second one."

McCoist's co-host Ray Parlour was in a mischievous mood and he'd been trying to get a rise out of the Ibrox legend throughout the morning. When Lennon came on though, he wasn't having the idea that a four-point gap between the sides at this stage is insurmountable. He said: "No, it's early days. With Rangers, they've got to qualify for the Champions League, so I always think there are mitigating circumstances this time of year. "They're playing tough European games midweek then having to play teams who are really motivated at the weekend, I've had problems myself in those sort of spells. "Russell's just in the door. He's still got to put his imprint on the team. "But the bloodlust up here, it's ridiculous. One or two games and people are questioning his tenure. Then on the other side of the city, people are questioning Brendan after a perfect start to the season. You've just got to be laser-focused and try to block out the noise. It's ridiculous!" Speaking earlier on the show, McCoist read out a script to lead into some Premiership chat and he was adamant the writers in the production room were at the wind-up. He read out, "Celtic continued their perfect start to the Scottish Premiership season...' before interrupting: "Hang on they've won two games, man! What's going on? Perfect start? He's trying to wind me up in there!" He continued reading: "Winning 2-0 at Aberdeen, who themselves now sit rock bottom. Russell Martin, meanwhile, made unwanted history at Rangers as they failed to win in their opening two league games for the first time since 1989 - which I was probably responsible for - drawing 1-1 at home with Dundee. Is the title race already over?" After finishing the script, McCoist then said: "Give it a break lads, come on!" That was when Parlour announced that Lennon would be coming on the show as he said: "We'll be asking Neil Lennon if the Scottish title race is already over!" A laughing McCoist replied: "I'm not biting!"

Due to his age, Walsh is currently unable to sign a professional contract. He will likely pen his first pro deal when he turns 17 in October. Walsh joined Chelsea at the age of seven and progressed through the age groups before making his first-team debut last season. He spent much of the 2024-25 campaign playing for the Under-18s. The midfielder scored four goals and provided two assists for the U18s last term. He has also made 11 appearances for England at youth level.
