Indie heaven is in Hartford this weekend.
On June 28-29, The Capitol Groove Festival goes down at Connecticut's Bushnell Park — aka the heart of Hartford — with many of the most exciting names in alternative music.
Just a few of the artists we're most excited to see perform live at the two-day extravaganza include peppy pop-rockers Bleachers, blissed-out Khruangbin, disaffected '90s icon Cake, frantic funk singer Thundercat and throwback outfit Thee Sacred Souls.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Fantastic Negrito, Steel Pulse, Ripe and Ghost Funk Orchestra round out the sonically diverse lineup.
In total, 14 acts will grace the Park's grounds on Saturday and Sunday.
But wait! There's more!
CT food vendors Grumpy Dumpling Co., Little Pub, Taste House Food Truck, Flavors, Los Mariachis on Wheels are slinging grub along with East Coast favorites Lumpia Bros. out of Massachusetts, Maryland's Get Baked Food Trolley, The Broccoli Bar from Vermont, Smoketown BBQ from New York City, Mazz 'a' Mia's, Vara's Racing Steak Truck and more.
Sound like the can't-miss indie festival of your dreams?

Reneé Rapp announces ‘Bite Me Tour,' MSG show. Get tickets today
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. While her live shows may be arresting, Reneé's 'Rapp' sheet won't be sending her to jail anytime soon. In fact, she'll be on the road. The 'Mean Girls' Broadway and film star — she's portrayed Regina George both onstage and onscreen — just announced her 2025 'Bite Me Tour' in support of her forthcoming sophomore album with the same name that's due out Aug. 1. Advertisement 'See you thereeee,' the 25-year-old shared via Instagram. As of now, she has 17 shows at arenas, auditoriums, theaters, pavilions and amphitheaters all over North America this September and October with special guests Syd and Ravyn Lenae (who's also on a tour of her own). That includes a huge concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Monday, Sept. 29. This is quite a step up for the 'Sex Lives Of College Girls' actress; on her 2023 'Snow Hard Feelings Tour,' she headlined at two shows at NYC's much smaller Terminal 5, another at Brooklyn's regal Kings Theatre and a fourth at the sprawling general admission Avant Gardner. Advertisement On top of the tour, Rapp is also lending her talents to the first Toronto edition of the multi-city All Things Go Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4. Other notable artists on the lineup include Kacey Musgraves, Remi Wolf, Role Model, Noah Cyrus and Chelsea Cutler among others. Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Reneé Rapp shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 'Bite Me Tour' is Friday, June 27. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Reneé Rapp tour schedule 2025 Advertisement A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found here: All Things Go Toronto 2025 As noted above, Rapp is one of the many exciting names — there are 16 artists in total on the bill — taking part in the inaugural All Things Go Toronto at the city's Budweiser Stage on Oct. 4-5. If you want to be there, single and multi-day All Things Go Toronto passes can be found here (they're at the bottom of the page under the Forest Hills and Columbia All Things Go dates). Reneé Rapp set list Advertisement Although she'll likely mix things up on this run since the tour is a showpiece for the new record, here's a look at what Rapp performed at one of her NYC headlining gigs in late 2023, courtesy of Set List FM: 01.) 'Talk Too Much' 02.) 'Poison Poison' 03.) 'Willow' 04.) 'Bruises' 05.) 'Colorado' 06.) 'Pretty Girls' 07.) 'Tummy Hurts' 08.) '23' 09.) 'I Hate Boston' 10.) 'So What Now' 11.) 'Tattoos' 12.) 'Too Well' 13.) 'Gemini Moon' 14.) 'The Wedding Song' 15.) 'I Wish' 16.) 'In the Kitchen' Encore 17.) 'Snow Angel' Reneé Rapp new music As of now, Rapp has only dropped one single ahead of 'Bite Me's' Aug. 1 release date. 'Leave Me Alone' is a brash piece of bubblegum pop that we'd categorize as equal parts naughty, angsty and sugary sweet. Truth be told, we wouldn't mind if the chilled-out refrain 'Leave me alone, b—-, I wanna have fun' became the line of the summer. To hear for yourself, you can find 'Leave Me Alone' here. Reneé Rapp special guests Before Rapp hits the stage, she'll have an opener or two warm the crowd up. To make sure you're familiar with these artists' work, you can find their most-streamed song on Spotify below. Advertisement Syd: 'Daddy Issues' Ravyn Lenae: 'Love Me Not' Huge stars on tour in 2025 Pop is king this year. And, if you want to see the buzziest hitmakers around, you're in luck. After a bit of digging, our team found that dozens of iconic artists are out and about these next few months. Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. The road is theirs. R&B giants (and one name wonders) Brandy and Monica just announced they're heading out on their first-ever co-headlining run — which they're calling 'The Boy Is Mine Tour' — with special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and 2025 'American Idol' winner Jamal Roberts at arenas all over North America from October through December. Late in the 24-concert trek, the '90s icons are slated to swing into New York and New Jersey for a trio of huge gigs. They'll begin the mini Northeast leg of the outing at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Thursday, Nov. 20. Right after that, they hit Newark's Prudential Center and Friday, Nov. 21 and Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, Nov. 22. 'This really is a full-circle moment,' Brandy shared in an official statement. 'Monica and I coming together again isn't just about the music—it's about honoring where we came from and how far we've both come. 'The Boy Is Mine' was a defining chapter in R&B, and to share the stage all these years later is bigger than a reunion—it's a celebration of growth, sisterhood, and the love our fans have given us from day one.' Their nationwide trek will be Brandy's first since 2016's 'Slayana World Tour;' most recently, Monica served as support on the first half of Nicki Minaj's 2024 'Pink Friday 2 World Tour.' As for what to expect, the press release says fans will be treated to 'a powerful, soul-stirring, and high-energy night of music and vocal brilliance, backed by a live band and special collaborative moments on stage.
