Hulk Hogan's family issue tearjerking tribute as they vow to 'cherish' memories

Daily Mirror4 days ago
Hulk Hogan's family have spoken out for the first time since the WWE legend died. The wrestling icon's death aged 71 was announced on Thursday after reports of a cardiac arrest.
Reports have suggested medics rushed to his home in Clearwater, Florida just days after Hulk's pal revealed he was unable to talk. Hulk's health had caused concern among fans in recent weeks as a representative for the WWE icon denied speculation he was gravely ill.
Following his death, Hulk's family took to his official Instagram page to announce the news themselves. Their heartbreaking statement read: "It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend.
"Our beloved Terry Bollea, known worldwide as Hulk Hogan, passed away today surrounded by his loved ones. At this time of grief, we ask that everyone please respect the privacy of his family and friends.
"May we all take solace in the wonderful memories he left behind for the millions of fans worldwide whose lives he touched for more than four decades. He will be missed, but never forgotten."
Hulk tied the knot with Sky in 2023 after the breakdown of his marriage to Jennifer McDaniel in 2021. He was married to Linda Claridge, 65, for 26 years before they split in 2009.
They welcomed two children together - Brooke, 36, and Nick, 34. Hulk and Linda suffered a family fallout with daughter Brooke, who skipped his wedding to Sky.
The couple said 'I do' in a "small affair" in Florida after getting engaged two months prior. Hulk went all out and bought a six carat diamond engagement ring worth $100,000 for the yoga instructor.
A friend revealed that Hulk was "the happiest he's ever been" with his new wife and claimed that she "changed his life." The source confirmed that unfortunately, his daughter Brooke did not turn up.
This year, Hulk's health has hit the headlines as in May, it was announced he'd undergone a small "fusion procedure" on his neck. A month later, a YouTuber claimed that things were "not looking good" for him.
Denying the speculation, a representative said that Hulk's surgery had been "successful" and there were "no reasons to panic." However, he was taken to hospital due to complications and he was later transferred home.
On an episode of ex-pal Bubba The Love Sponge's YouTube channel, co-host Lummy claimed: "Hogan's not doing well. He he can't speak. His trachea or whatever was damaged and he's having problems and it does not look good. It does not look at all."
Bubba, who was once sued by Hogan for leaking a sex tape of his wife and the wrestler, told the channel he had heard from a hospital security guard. "He was transported to his house but he's still in his hospital bed. It's just like he's at the hospital," he said.
"They've gone as far as they can go at the hospital now. They just they're keeping him comfortable at his house in a hospital bed." Sky denied rumours he was in a coma after concerns grew over the star's health.
A statement from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), on X said: 'WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.
'One of pop culture's most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans.'

John Torode's wife Lisa Faulkner breaks silence on MasterChef axe

Lisa Faulkner has broken her silence after her husband John Torode was sacked as judge on MasterChef following an allegation of racism. John Torode's wife Lisa Faulkner has broken her online silence following her husband's sacking from MasterChef. She's spoken after it was confirmed Torode's contract with the BBC series would not be renewed due to a historic allegation of racism. ‌ In a video posted on her Instagram on Monday night, July 28, the actress told fans: "Hi there, I just wanted to check in and say hello. I'm here and just thank you for all your lovely comments because they really, really mean a lot. So thank you." ‌ Lisa, 53, married Torode in 2019. This is the second marriage for the pair, with the former Holby City actress previously being with Chris Coghill, known for his role as Tony King in EastEnders. They share an adopted daughter named Billie. ‌ Torode's ex-wife is Jessica, and they have two children together. The former MasterChef star, 59, also has two older children from a previous relationship, reports the Mirror. Lisa and Torode first met when Lisa competed on Celebrity MasterChef back in 2010, forming a strong friendship that eventually blossomed. The pair hit it off immediately, maintaining their friendship after filming, but Lisa insists there was no initial romantic spark. ‌ "He was a judge on a show I loved and I was petrified of him. He was brilliant and gave us all tips so you didn't want to let him down," she recalled. "All I could think was, 'That sauce hasn't worked'. I didn't see anything but food for three months. After I won, we did The Good Food Show and stuff. John and I always got on, but I never thought about me and him." John Torode's contract with MasterChef will not be renewed, as confirmed by the BBC and production company Banijay UK. The Australian-born presenter, 59, began co-hosting MasterChef with Gregg Wallace in 2005. ‌ Torode acknowledged that he was the subject of a complaint regarding the use of racist language, which was upheld during a review conducted by law firm Lewis Silkin into the alleged behaviour of his co-presenter Gregg Wallace. Banijay UK issued a statement saying: "In response to John Torode's statement, it is important to stress that Banijay UK takes this matter incredibly seriously. The legal team at Lewis Silkin that investigated the allegations relating to Gregg Wallace also substantiated an accusation of highly offensive racist language against John Torode which occurred in 2018. "This matter has been formally discussed with John Torode by Banijay UK, and whilst we note that John says he does not recall the incident, Lewis Silkin have upheld the very serious complaint. Banijay UK and the BBC are agreed that we will not renew his contract on MasterChef." ‌ The report from Lewis Silkin, commissioned by Banijay UK, found that 45 out of 83 allegations against Wallace were substantiated, along with two standalone allegations made against other individuals, including one for using racist language. Torode acknowledged he was the individual accused of racist language but stated he had "no recollection of the incident" and was "shocked and saddened" by the allegation. ‌ A BBC spokesperson commented: "John Torode has identified himself as having an upheld allegation of using racist language against him. This allegation – which involves an extremely offensive racist term being used in the workplace- was investigated and substantiated by the independent investigation led by the law firm, Lewis Silkin. John Torode denies the allegation. "He has stated he has no recollection of the alleged incident and does not believe that it happened. He also says that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. "The BBC takes this upheld finding extremely seriously. We will not tolerate racist language of any kind and, as we have already said, we told Banijay UK, the makers of MasterChef, that action must be taken. John Torode's contract on MasterChef will not be renewed." Despite Torode's MasterChef dismissal, he has continued to grace television screens alongside Lisa for their own programme. An insider close to ITV confirmed to the Mirror that their scheduling for John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen 'remains unchanged' despite John's dismissal from MasterChef.

Inside Brooklyn Beckham's ‘financial flex' in feud with dad David as his £85m superyacht dwarfs family's £16m vessel

The 26-year-old sailed into Saint-Tropez in an £85million, 80-metre (260ft) vessel called Project X. Two days later, Brooklyn's dad David, 50, and mum Victoria, 51, arrived in the same French dock in a £16million, 40-metre (130ft) yacht named Seven. A source said: 'Brooklyn's yacht dwarfs the one owned by David and Victoria. It's a financial flex. 'Their relationship is beyond soured now but Brooklyn has really landed on his feet. Nicola and her parents, Nelson and Claudia, are his family now. And he's clearly enjoying the spoils.' Brooklyn's vessel, with a master suite, a VIP cabin, five double rooms and two twin cabins, has a crew of 28. It also boasts a 25ft by 9ft glass-sided swimming pool, a wellness suite, a spa and a 360-degree sundeck. David's yacht is half the size, with five cabins that sleep ten people, and up to seven crew members on board. The boat, which he bought in 2022, also features a spa bath on the upper deck as well as a 65ft garage, which is packed with water toys including a tender and a jet ski. David and Victoria bought Seven — so-called because of their daughter Harper's middle name — in an upgrade from a smaller £5million vessel. They are in Saint-Tropez with Harper, 14, and their other sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20. David and Victoria Beckham's agony as family feud explodes into WW3 and pals say 'Brooklyn has totally cut them off' Brooklyn, along with his wife Nicola, 30, no longer speak to his family following a much-publicised feud earlier this year, which The Sun understands was sparked by money. We first revealed the rift in May. But it worsened earlier this month after brothers Romeo and Cruz appeared to block Brooklyn and Nicola on social media. Those close to Brooklyn said a reconciliation with his family was off the table, adding: 'There's too much water under the bridge.' Brooklyn and Nicola have posted pictures from their break on social media — including one of her naked in one of the yacht's baths. Aspiring cook, photographer and model Brooklyn also posted a snap of himself drinking a bottle of beer next to billionaire businessman Nelson. 10 Brooklyn taking a dip in St. Tropez, where he is staying with his wife Credit: BackGrid 10 Brooklyn shared snaps following his luxury boat trip on Instagram Credit: Instagram 10 Brooklyn hangs out on the mega-expensive vessel Credit: Instagram Brooklyn and Nicola have also been seen out shopping in posh boutiques in and around Saint-Tropez. He also met his godfather, singer Sir Elton John, last week in Cannes. Sir Elton is said to have tried to be a peacemaker in Brooklyn's feud — but is not taking sides. An insider said: 'Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland. He's utterly neutral in this row. He just wants everyone to be happy. 'He wants to look after them in his role as 'spiritual adviser' as a godfather. It's a role he takes seriously.' 10 Brooklyn and Nicola no longer speak to his family following a much-publicised feud Credit: Instagram 10 Brooklyn and Nicola have posted pictures from their break on social media Credit: Instagram

Molly-Mae admits real reason she's not filming with Tommy Fury after breaking down in tears on camera

MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed why boyfriend Tommy Fury doesn't feature in any of her YouTube vlogs, telling fans "we're still working it out". The influencer addressed criticism levelled at Tommy by some fans who accused him of being an absent dad. 4 In hurtful comments, they claimed that Molly's sister Zoe, 28, is more of a father figure due to her regular appearance in the videos. Ex Love Island star Molly, 26, explained: "I've seen so many comments saying 'Zoe is more the dad' I only vlog when I am not with Tommy, I am with Tommy literally 80% of the week and he is with Bambi majority of the week. "But I vlog when we are here and he is at his because it's just something that I am not ready to like open up with yet and like flinging the camera around like when we're a family. "I just think like we're not there yet and still figuring out life and living situations. I'm not ready to vlog like we used to." Molly and Tommy only recently confirmed they were an item again after splitting last August. Their relationship story featured in Molly's recent Amazon documentary where she talked about their New Year's Eve kiss, which began feverish speculation that they were back together. They are now working hard to put past cheating allegations and Tommy's alcohol-fuelled partying problems behind them. A source told us: 'It sounds extreme, but Molly feels much more reassured when Tommy checks in. It all helps with trust, honesty and transparency between the two of them. 'Tommy has been very dedicated so far — if he's on a train, he will FaceTime the moment he gets off. 'It's the same with any flights that he takes or hotels he's staying in. Molly-Mae sobs as she admits Bambi's 'terrible twos' are breaking her & says 'I don't care who tells me I'm out of touch with reality' 'Tommy dutifully phones Molly the minute that he arrives anywhere. 'And then she likes him to also show her where he is. 'This has been going on for months now, and Tommy's friends are impressed that he has agreed to it whole-heartedly.' Elsewhere in Molly's latest vlog, she broke down in tears after facing a backlash for complaining about having no fun, despite going on a string of luxury holidays to Dubai, Disneyland Paris and Budapest. She also moaned about a £86,000 motorhome holiday with Tommy to the Isle of Man. As she sat in her car with Bambi in the back, Molly-Mae admitted: 'I'm trying so so hard to stay positive and have a really nice day but I feel like I need to keep my camera running all day so you can see… every single thing is a huge problem. '[I] can't even get like socks and shoes on'. She added: 'I don't care who tells me I am out of touch with reality or all this stuff that's going on on TikTok at the minute, I don't care I'm not going to not talk about it.' However, things seemed to get too much for the mother-of-one and she soon sobbed. The millionaire, who lives in a huge £3.5million mansion, desperately hid her eyes with a pair of sunglasses and shook her head as she added: 'I'm sorry, I'm so embarrassed.' The content creator who boasts 1.9million subscribers on YouTube and has a jaw-dropping £6million fortune, also opened up on feeling "suffocated," as she explained: "The morning was not good. 4 4 "I think the reason I had a meltdown was because I was trying to hold it in. "It seems like a lot of onions flying around. I feel like I don't want to talk about anything controversial anymore. "In the last video I said some things I probably could have worded better and even with all the motherhood things I am talking about at the minute, it's just a lot. 'We're debunking that whole thing about me feeling like I shouldn't talk about what is going on in the day because I am scared about what people will think and what they have to say about it. "I can't hide anything, if I'm feeling down about something, you're gonna know about it." Molly-Mae's glow-down from 'glamour model' to 'yummy mummy' Celebrity PR Expert, Ed Hopkins told Fabulous: 'I believe Molly-Mae Hague 's new look is more than just a style change but a powerful statement of who she is becoming. 'It underscores her journey towards authenticity, maturity, and sophistication and is likely to enhance her success and influence in the years to come.' Brand and Culture Expert Nick Ede agreed, and told Fabulous: 'Molly-Mae has transformed herself into a yummy mummy who has ditched the glamour model style for a more relaxed and natural look. 'She's becoming more down to earth and relatable to people and cleverly showing a softer side which will win her legions more fans in the process.' According to Ed Hopkins, Molly-Mae's chic new look could be 'highly lucrative' for the star. Ed told Fabulous: 'Molly-Mae Hague's transformation towards a more natural, chic look seems to be a testament to her personal growth and evolving style. 'This change, which has become more pronounced since she became a mother, appears to reflect her journey towards embracing authenticity and sophistication. 'It's possible that this new image could be highly lucrative for Molly-Mae. 'Her chic, understated style might appeal to a wider audience, including more mature demographics and high-end brands, potentially opening up lucrative endorsement deals and partnerships. 'By adopting a more elegant look, she seems to align herself with premium and luxury brands that favour natural beauty and sophistication, which could lead to higher-paying collaborations. 'Additionally, with consumers increasingly valuing authenticity and natural beauty, her new image could be both timely and marketable.' Nick Ede agreed and told Fabulous: 'She has started to promote some really great luxury brands including the cosmetics brand Tatcha and with her laid back look she will make a lot of money from brands looking to align with her.' Ed also noted that Molly-Mae's transformation may be a sign that she is looking to step away from her reality show past. He continued: 'Molly-Mae's transformation also seems to symbolise her desire even more so to well and truly step out of the shadow of her Love Island persona. 'The shift to a more mature and unique style appears to demonstrate her growth and her wish to be seen as an individual beyond her reality TV beginnings. 'By shedding the bold, flashy look associated with her time on Love Island, she might be rebranding herself as a serious businesswoman and influencer who is carving out her own identity. 'This new look helps her stand out in the crowded influencer market, showcasing her as a trendsetter with a distinctive, refined aesthetic.' Nick agreed and claimed: 'Shedding the flash looks she previously went for, she's also detaching herself from the Love Island stereotype and stepping out as her own person with a cool look that's not flashy but totally on trend. 'Gone are the 'look at me' posts and in are family style posts and trend led fashion statements.'
