Prabhas shared the first look from The Raja Saab. The film is releasing on December 5 and will be clashing with Shahid Kapoor's next
Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab has been creating a lot of buzz among the fans. Today, he gave fans a royal treat by unveiling the first look of Sanjay Dutt from their upcoming horror comedy. The first look showcases the veteran actor in a powerful and commanding avatar, sparking instant buzz across social media.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Prabhas shared the first regal look of Sanjay Dutt. 'Wishing the ever-inspiring Sanjay Dutt sir a very happy birthday! Grateful to share the screen with you in #TheRajaSaab." In no time, it went viral among fans. Joining Prabhas in this supernatural entertainer are Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar, who play key roles.
The Raja Saab is touted to be a horror-comedy, marking a genre break for Prabhas after having featured in action or fantasy dramas in the past few years. The film features a Haveli that's unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema. This grand set, spanning 41,256 sq ft, is officially the largest horror set ever constructed in India.
The movie was originally supposed to hit theatres in April 2025 but got delayed, sparking rumours that the makers were eyeing a festive release instead. Today, June 3, the makers finally ended all the guessing and officially locked in the new release date.
The film is all set to hit theatres this December in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it a full-on Pan-India treat. As per the official announcement, The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on December 5. The film is directed by Maruthi, the man behind hits like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Mahanubhavudu, and Manchi Rojulochaie.
Director Maruthi took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle to share the big news. His post featured a vibrant poster of the film with 'Dec 5 in cinemas worldwide" boldly displayed. Alongside it, he wrote, 'A day that promises a festival on the big screens just like we all dreamt of seeing our dearest darling #Prabhas. A lot more exciting days ahead… #TheRajaSaab."
The Raja Saab is currently the only Telugu-language film locked in for December 5, and with Prabhas leading the charge, it's no surprise that other releases might steer clear of that weekend. The film is also expected to make a big splash in the Hindi market. However, it won't have the date all to itself as in Bollywood, it's heading for a box office face-off with Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming film starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, which is also set to release on the same day.

Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, dies at 48 after three-year cancer battle

Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 48. His family confirmed the news to People, sharing in a statement: 'It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon had battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.' According to People, Blackstock learned he was sick not long after his divorce from Clarkson was finalized. The type of cancer hasn't been disclosed. In 2022, he left the public eye and moved back to Montana. Blackstock and Clarkson were married in 2013 and had two children together - daughter River, 11, and son Remington, 9. He also had two older kids, Savannah and Seth, from a previous marriage. Amid the outpouring of grief over Blackstock's death, fans are now looking at how Kelly Clarkson's shows might be affected by the tragedy that has struck her family. Earlier this year, Clarkson's absences from her NBC talk show puzzled fans. In March, guest hosts like Brooke Shields, Wanda Sykes and Josh Groban stepped in while she was away. At the time, social media buzzed with speculation about her health or career, reports Parade. Then on August 6 - just one day before Blackstock's death - Clarkson canceled the rest of her August Las Vegas residency shows. She addressed the move on Instagram: 'While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill. I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding,' as per Parade. A friend of Clarkson's told People she's been 'devastated' for her kids and did her best to protect them from the harder parts of their dad's illness. 'Kelly has always tried to keep things classy… She never spoke poorly about Brandon to the kids,' the source said. The Kelly Clarkson Show will return for its seventh season this fall. The sixth season of the Emmy-winning series wrapped in June, just before Clarkson kicked off her Vegas run in July. He was the son of music manager Narvel Blackstock and Elisa Gayle Ritter. He was her former stepson through her marriage to Narvel Blackstock. No public record indicates he remarried after his divorce from Clarkson. The family has not disclosed the specific diagnosis. He passed away on August 7, 2025, surrounded by family.

Singapore Police go viral with slow-mo reel set to Rajinikanth's ‘Coolie' track, internet calls it a crossover hit

Singapore's finest have stepped into the spotlight — quite literally — and it's not just their usual display of law and order. In a surprise move that no one saw coming, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) posted a slow-motion reel of officers walking to 'Powerhouse', a thumping track from superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Coolie'. The video, which shows only the backs of the officers and the bold word 'POLICE' on their vests, is simple but striking. Set to the pulsating beats of 'Powerhouse', the clip is as dramatic as it is unexpected — and fans of both cinema and policing were quick to pick up on the unlikely crossover. The internet wasted no time in reacting, with comments that blended pop culture, fandom, and humour in true online fashion. One person summed it up perfectly: 'The power of Rajinikanth (sic)', while another wrote: 'Track on point (sic).' Others were more playful, suggesting insider knowledge: 'The marketing person must be an Indian (sic),' one user guessed. Another joked: 'Singapore Police part of the LCU confirmed' — a cheeky nod to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The former is also the director of 'Coolie'. And the tributes didn't stop there. One fan exclaimed, 'Even SPF realises the power of Superstar! (sic)', while perhaps the most internet-native comment came from someone who declared: 'We got 'Coolie X Singapore Police' collab before GTA 6 (sic).' While the post may have been light-hearted, it also shows just how far Rajinikanth's influence reaches. Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has already generated buzz across the Indian film world — and now, thanks to a smart and stylish social media post, it seems even Singapore's police force is vibing with the Superstar's energy.
