Norfolk dog kennel to host new event
A dog kennel in Norfolk is hosting a new event in the hopes of encouraging visitors to match with a four-legged friend.
Dogs Trust Snetterton is hosting its first Nose about Day, allowing dog lovers to enquire about all things pooches.
The charity will be hosting two activities, a behind-the-scenes tour and a snuffle-making workshop.
Those interested must pre-book.

Visitors will be shown the training barn, paddock, playground and kitchen to help give people an idea of "what it's really like" for the dogs in need of a forever home.
The event is being held at the charity's kennel in North End Road, Snetterton on May 17 from 11am-2pm.
Complimentary hot drinks and biscuits will be included.
Here are just three of the dogs looking for a new family.
Milo has a passion for training and with the right support will be muzzle trained in no time. (Image: Dogs Trust) Two-year-old Milo is described as "lovable" and "affectionate" by Dogs Trust.
Although a "cheeky chap", he sometimes lacks confidence so will need to be kept on a lead and muzzled on his walks.
Milo enjoys meeting other dogs on his adventures but would prefer a quiet, adult-only home where he can put his paws up.
Rocky will require further training to help him feel at ease around his canine companions. (Image: Dogs Trust) The one and a half year old French Bulldog cross is looking for a family who will help him grow in confidence.
Rocky is an affectionate boy who enjoys a cuddle but also loves exploring on walks.
He will need to be the only pet in the home. As he struggles to be left alone, his new family will need to be on hand as he adjusts to his surroundings.

Brock is a six-year-old Huntaway cross who adores people and never shies away from fuss.
He would like to be the only dog in the home but has the potential to live with children from primary school age and older who are used to excitable dogs.
When on walks, Brock will have to be kept on a lead and muzzled as he is unsure of other dogs.

James Beard Award-Winning Southern Chef Sean Brock Is Opening a Restaurant in West Hollywood
One of South Carolina's most celebrated chefs will open his first Los Angeles restaurant in West Hollywood later this summer. Sean Brock, best known for his Southern restaurants in Charleston and Nashville, will introduce Darling, a new restaurant featuring seasonal ingredients prepared over a live-fire grill in the former Soulmate space on Robertson Boulevard. The Charleston-based chef will also introduce Bar Darling, an adjoining cocktail bar that will serve cocktails while vinyls play over a hi-fi sound system. As one of the South's most notable chefs, Brock is a high-profile figure dedicated to showcasing Southern Cuisine. He grew up in Virginia's Appalachian mountains before finishing culinary school and becoming executive chef at Charleston, South Carolina's Husk from 2010 until 2018; he then became a partner at McCrady's Restaurant. Brock won the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef Southeast in 2010, and became a New York Times bestseller with his first cookbook Heritage , which also garnered a James Beard Award. After opening (and stepping away from) multiple Husk locations throughout the South, Brock opened Atlanta's Minero in 2015, then debuted Joyland in 2020.
