JoJo Siwa Confirms Chris Hughes Relationship

JoJo Siwa Confirms Chris Hughes Relationship

Buzz Feed2 days ago

JoJo Siwa finally elaborated on her relationship with Chris Hughes.
The Dance Moms and Love Island alums, 22 and 32 years of age, respectively, first met on Celebrity Big Brother UK in April. During her time on the show, JoJo opened up about exploring her gender identity and realizing that she identifies as queer, rather than a lesbian.
Though JoJo was in a relationship with Australian influencer Kath Ebbs at the beginning of the show, she wound up breaking up with them at the show's wrap party — after a season of getting progressively closer to Chris. Since the show, Chris and JoJo have been spotted in numerous PDA photos around town, but they've been hesitant to confirm whether or not their relationship is actually romantic. Until now!
In a new interview with the Guardian, JoJo was asked about the attention given to her and Chris and whether or not it bothers her. "People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop," she replied. 'I think everyone's just curious, and I can't blame them.'
When asked outright if the relationship was romantic, after a long pause, JoJo said, 'It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.'
As for whether or not the whole thing is a PR stunt, she further said, 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.'
She further said that 'queer...encompasses how I am, and who I am," adding, 'There's a lot of different sexual identities. I think there's nothing more beautiful than somebody discovering themselves.'
'I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate,' she added. 'But I'm also living a human life. You can't help who you love.'

MasterChef fans left stunned after 'unwatchable' moment: 'Hideous'

MasterChef Australia is one of the most beloved shows in the country thanks to its wholesome vibes, which greatly differs from much of the rest of the Australian reality TV landscape. However, it seems as though its overseas counterparts are not similar at all. One MasterChef viewer took to Reddit to start a conversation over the difference between the Australian version and the Canadian version of the show. They wrote, "I [haven't] watched any episode of Masterchef Canada. A random video just came to my feed. The judges [seem much too rough] with the contestants." In the video, one judge yells at a contestant, "Is this a joke? This is MasterChef Canada, and you give me this?" RELATED: MasterChef viewers convinced 2025 winner has been spoiled MasterChef viewers declare 'worst episode of the season' after bizarre moment MasterChef fans point out major reason this season is 'the least popular' Another judge spits out food in front of the contestant, telling them their dish is "very fishy in an unpleasant way". The same judge asks another person what their dish is called, and they respond, "I call these 'I really wanna stay fish cakes,' man." And the judge responds, "These look like 'I'll watch the show from my couch fish cakes,'" leaving the contestant with a stunned look on their face. Elsewhere, the judges called out "disastrous dishes", leading one contestant to say, "My heart just cramps up, my heart sinks, I don't know what to think." MasterChef Australia contestants shared their shock at the clip, with one person writing, "That is why I only watch Australia. Nice judges and nice contestants. No shouting and no chest thumping." "Other than [Australian version], most of the Masterchef judges are strict I would say," another said. A third agreed, saying, "Yeah, most of the other versions overdramatise the judging, and encourage the judges to be total d**ks." The person then shared examples: "MasterChef US: 'Holy s**t, this is horrible, and your dead mother would be ashamed at the way you've butchered her recipe.' Tosses plate across the room. "MasterChef AU: 'Well, you're asparagus is pretty on point, and I liked the use of saffron, but you've got to be more careful about your seasoning and you're cooking times, this definitely wasn't your best.' Gives crying contestant a hug." They added, "It's why I only watch the Australian version anymore." "The US version is just as hideous if not worse," someone else said. "Honestly unwatchable. Again, the Australians have made this programme the best version possible." "Yeah, I'm in Canada and I love that Mr. Husband generously gives us the Australian feed because it's so wholesome," another added. "The Canadian version is so mean. The judges are mean and they push the contestants to fight against each other. There's a lot of bullying." "The judges on Masterchef AU are genuinely some of the kindest," one person said. "Even when a dish doesn't turn out well, they still manage to give feedback in such a polite and empathetic way. And it's not just the current set of judges, even in the earlier seasons, they always maintained that warmth and encouragement. From this clip, the judges come across so blunt and rude. I get that the presentation might be lacking in some dishes, but the way the criticism is delivered its just feels unnecessarily harsh. And honestly, it makes the whole viewing experience feel tense rather than enjoyable. I don't think I will ever enjoy watching this Masterchef Canada, it just takes the joy out of it." "If you think of it in terms of how Gordon Ramsay went from Hell's Kitchen directly to Masterchef, you can kinda see how they carried over the same formula of drama being more important than anything else. North American Masterchef is the audience laughing AT the contestants, that's the whole point. They treat it like some kind of zoo and it has zero substance and is horrible to watch." Others said they would want to watch the Canadian version "at all" and that the Canadian version is simply copying the American version which "drums up the nastiness and drama".

TheStewartofNY/Getty Images; Brian D. McLaughlin/Michael;Anna Camp, Paul Reubens, and Valentina While many people, especially in younger generations, may not see "coming out" as a big deal in 2025, it still is for many others. Coming out not only allows a person to live as their most authentic self, but also lets those with a spotlight show others what kind of possibilities there are in life. It may be considered an aphorism today, but the phrase "if you can't see it, you can't be it" still holds a lot of truth. Step Inside Dakota Johnson, Chris Martin's Universe After Their Split

Originally appeared on E! Online Sadly, nothing is going to fix Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson's romance. Indeed, the couple has called it quits eight years after they first began dating in 2017, and confirmed their engagement last March, multiple sources told People. E! News has reached out to reps for Chris and Dakota but has not yet heard back. The Coldplay frontman—who shares Apple Martin, 21, and Moses Martin, 19, with ex Gwyneth Paltrow—and the Fifty Shades of Grey star were first linked in October 2017 when they were photographed grabbing a bite at the celebrity hot spot Sushi Park in Los Angeles. Chris and Dakota were seen out several times in the following months, with Dakota even attending one of Martin's concerts in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for Coldplay's Head Full of Dreams tour. As their romance progressed, Dakota became a regular fixture at Chris' shows, and even toured with him, but it wasn't until her dad Don Johnson seemingly confirmed their romance in January 2018 that the relationship became official. More from E! Online Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin Break Up After Nearly 8 Years Together Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Daughter Gracie Celebrates Queer Identity in Pride Month Post Ellen Pompeo Detained for Hour by TSA and Bomb Squad Over Erewhon Sunflower Seeds At the time, Don joked his daughter dating Chris was 'troubling,' to Digital Spy, before assuring, 'No, she's a big girl, she can handle herself!' Later that same year, the couple sparked pregnancy rumors when TMZ reported they had thrown a gender reveal party at Chris' Los Angeles home—which saw Dakota's dad and mom Melanie Griffith, as well as Julia Roberts in attendance. However, the Social Network alum shut down the noise in an Ellen interview saying, 'The only thing I'm pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas, but not any babies.' Despite not welcoming any children of her own, Dakota was quickly welcomed by Chris' children and ex shortly after the false alarm. In fact, the Goop founder formally gave her stamp of approval in November 2018. 'Gwyneth thinks she is lovely,' a source told E! News. 'She gets on very well with her and is happy for Chris. They've spent a good amount of time together and have a very nice friendship." Rest assured, the kids were just as welcoming, with the source adding, 'The kids really like Dakota and enjoy spending time with her.' However, the pair's first roadblock came in 2019, when multiple outlets claimed the pair had split up. In August of that year, Dakota and Chris laid the rumors to rest when he supported her at a wrap party for her film The High Note, as seen in photos shared to social media. A source later confirmed they were still together, telling E! News at the time, 'They're planning to spend more time together later this summer.' The insider also added that an engagement was imminent for the couple, and, in 2024, they confirmed they had been engaged for 'years.' And on the couple continued in para-para paradise. For Dakota's birthday that fall, Gwyneth proved Dakota and Chris were as strong as ever by sharing a happy birthday post for her—and her friendship with Dakota only continued to grow with time. 'I love her,' Gwyneth told Harper's Bazaar in 2020. 'I can see how it would seem weird because it's sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her.' The feeling was mutual for Dakota—especially when it came to her relationship with Chris' kids. 'I love those kids like my life depends on it,' she told Bustle last year. 'With all my heart.' By late 2024, breakup rumors began to surface once more—but a rep for the couple told E! News at the time that it was 'not true,' adding, 'They are happily together.' Less than a year later, though, Dakota and Chris' breakup was confirmed.
