Swifties, welcome to your next era: "The Life of a Showgirl."
Taylor Swift revealed the name of her new album in a video clip posted on social media shortly after midnight on Aug. 12.
The clip, a teaser for Swift's upcoming appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, features the pop icon unveiling a blurred album cover from inside a "T.S."-branded briefcase.
While Swifties await the release of the full podcast episode on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. ET, the fanbase has taken to social media to decode Easter eggs, analyze color schemes and bask in collective excitement.
Here's a look at the internet's reaction to "The Life of a Showgirl."

Swifties analyze Easter eggs for 'The Life of a Showgirl'
In true Swiftie fashion, fans were quick to search for subtle clues Swift may have dropped hinting at the release of her upcoming album.
Some of the so-called Easter eggs that Swifties have apparently unearthed date back to Swift's Eras Tour, which ended in December 2024.

'The Life of a Showgirl' orange-and-green color scheme draws comparisons
Swift's website and social media accounts have hinted that the color scheme for "The Life of a Showgirl" is primarily orange with hints of green.
Online, fans have started embracing the tones, including the possibility that it may signify something else of the same color, like a penny before and after it oxidizes.

'New Heights' Likely Gearing Up for Big Pay Day After Taylor Swift Podcast

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce may be in for a big pay day following their New Heights podcast interview with Taylor Swift. Newsweek reached out to New Heights' YouTube channel via email for comment on Friday. Why It Matters On Tuesday, Swift, 35—who has been dating Travis since 2023—announced her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, in a teaser video for Wednesday's New Heights episode. The pop star, whose net worth is approximately $1.6 billion, per Forbes, dropped the news after months of album speculation. It also came on the heels of her wildly popular Eras Tour, which broke 18 records during its 21-month run. What To Know Swift's New Heights episode on YouTube currently has over 15 million views. While it's unclear exactly how much the Kelce siblings will earn from the two-hour interview, Business Insider previously reported that YouTube videos with 1 million plus views could earn creators thousands. In their article titled: "How Much Money YouTube Pays for 1 Million Views, According to 3 Creators," YouTubers Semide ASMR, Jade Darmawangsa and Shelby Church shared their earnings. "Semide has two videos with over 1 million views on YouTube and a few others just below that mark. Typically, these videos will earn between $2,500 to $4,000 in ad revenue, she said in December 2020," Business Insiderreported. "One of Semide's most popular videos had about 1.1 million views and had earned about $3,470, according to a screenshot of her dashboard viewed by Insider." In Darmawangsa's case, "Her video titled 'How to grow on Instagram' had earned about $3,600, from 1.2 million views, when Insider viewed a screenshot of her dashboard in May 2020." As for Church, "a YouTuber who had about 1.6 million subscribers when she spoke with Insider in 2020, videos with about 1 million views had earned her between $2,000 and $30,000 depending on the video subject, she told Insider in January 2020." Last year, the Kelces reportedly signed a $100 million podcast deal with Wondery, Amazon's podcast streamer. Jason Kelce, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 seasons, announced his retirement in March. In addition to podcasting, the 37-year-old is also an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Countdown and hosts the network's late-night talk show called They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce. Travis Kelce is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and was named one of the highest-paid NFL players in 2024 by Forbes. According to the outlet, football generates approximately $17.1 million for him, while his off-field income is estimated at $35 million. "The largest chunk of Kelce's money will come from the New Heights podcast he co-hosts with his brother," Forbes reported. The 35-year-old is also the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? and has dabbled in acting, most recently starring in Happy Gilmore 2. Taylor Swift vs. Trump on Joe Rogan—Chart Reveals How Podcasts Performed

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Taylor Swift's recent appearance on the New Heights podcast alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, who host the show, has achieved meteoric podcasting success. New Heights, which has 3 million subscribers on YouTube, is primarily a sports podcast, but has become a platform for candid conversations and insights into the lives of the Kelce brothers, who are both football players. Jason plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis, 35, for the Kansas City Chiefs. Rumors that Swift would appear on the podcast began swirling on Monday when, despite being on hiatus, they teased a "very special guest" along with a profile that looked like Swift. It was confirmed on Tuesday, when a teaser clip showing Swift revealing a new album was released. The furor in the run-up to the episode, which marked the first podcast appearance for the singer, sparked comparisons with the response to the news that Donald Trump would be appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience in the run-up to the election. His episode, which aired live on October 25, was hugely successful, becoming Rogan's most-viewed YouTube video and prompting some to credit it with helping him win the election. The three-hour interview, which touched on topics ranging from the 2020 election to extraterrestrial life, cemented the powerful influence the podcasting medium holds in the current media landscape. Supporters of both the president and the singer, who has publicly supported Democrats in the past, speculated on social media about whether she would be able to bring in a bigger audience than the now-president did. Newsweek reached out to Joe Rogan and Travis Kelce's publicists for comment via email. MoreHow Do the Podcasts Stack Up? Swift's appearance on New Heights initially drew more live views than Trump's on Rogan did, with over 1.3 million people tuning in on YouTube. Rogan garnered 800,000 livestreams with Donald Trump's interview, as reported by CNN on Wednesday night, according to the Daily Beast However, in the 12 hours post-release, it flipped—the Kelce brothers racked up 9 million views on YouTube, with Rogan having amassed slightly more, at 11 million, according to Forbes. The gap widened 24 hours after airing, as Rogan achieved double the streaming success on the platform, reaching 26 million views. The Kelce brothers hit 13 million streams in the same time frame, according to Variety. How Many People Subscribed? Subscriber growth for the New Heights YouTube channel also saw a significant boost, with an increase of 350,000 subscribers the day of and following Swift's appearance, according to social-media analytics tracker Social Blade. The Joe Rogan Experience, which currently has 20 million subscribers on YouTube, gained 300,000 new fans in the same time frame, Newsweek previously reported. As for the charts, New Heights also topped Apple Podcasts this week, surpassing Joe Rogan's show. The Kelce brothers recently signed a $100 million deal with Wondery, an Amazon-owned podcast streamer. Rogan's show is reportedly worth up to $250 million, according to Forbes. In the rare interview, Swift shared exclusive details about her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, set for release on October 3. She and Travis also swooned over how they met, and the singer talked about her emotional journey to reclaim ownership of her master recordings. Taylor Swift Drops Major Career News on Travis Kelce's podcast

Taylor Swift Drops Major Career News on Travis Kelce's podcast originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce has been all over the news for a while now, but his popularity reached new heights - no pun intended -- in the summer of 2023. That's when he became a global celebrity because of his relationship with Taylor Swift. Fast forward to today, and the two are still going strong, up to the point where he had them as a guest in his 'New Heights' podcast with his brother Jason. Moreover, that's also why she didn't hesitate to share some massive news with them. Taylor Swift announces 12th album on 'New Heights' "So, I wanted to show you something," Taylor said. "This is my brand new album: The Life of a Showgirl." The full show will air on Wednesday, and while it's highly unlikely that she'll share a preview of any of the songs, it will most definitely give the fans some major snippets of her relationship with Kelce and her career. Travis Kelce says he's Taylor Swift's 'plus one' Kelce is a future first-ballot Hall of Famer and one of the greatest tight ends of all time. However, outside of the football field, he's glad to be Swift's plus-one: 'I get to be the plus one," Kelce told GQ. "I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. I'm a fan of music. I'm a fan of art. And it's so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field. I feel that same enjoyment every time she comes to my shows." Kelce even made an appearance on stage in one of her shows during The Eras Tour, but other than that, he's gladly taken a step back to let her be the star of the show. Travis Kelce says he's turned Taylor Swift into a football fan Likewise, Swift has become a familiar face in Chiefs games, but it seems like she's becoming much more than just a spectator; she's become a football savant as well: "I sort of made her a football fan. She is the most engulfed fan now. She knows what the injury reports look like. She understands what special situations are, third and short—all these things because she just naturally loves to hear about my job," Kelce revealed. Some fans have questioned Kelce's commitment to the game since he started dating Taylor Swift, given that his numbers haven't been as impressive as in the past. Then again, we're talking about a veteran about to enter his 12th season, and it's not like he hasn't done more than enough in his career already. Kelce and the Chiefs will look to bounce back after a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and with him turning 35 years old already, it wouldn't be shocking to see him walk away from the game after this season. As sad as that may be for the fans, he's more than earned the right to ride into the sunset on his own terms.
