The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack release date
EA is launching a new Sims Expansion Pack that will allow you to live your life as the fairy you were always meant to be.
Despite its charm and iconic status, The Sims has not been immune to controversy. The main criticism of the franchise is its propensity to hide its best content behind numerous expansions and Stuff Packs, as players clamoured for improved babies and careers, EA seized the opportunity to keep The Sims 4 alive and tucked them behind additional purchases. The game is now free-to-play, with these expansions remaining as optional extras, but its reputation took a bit of a hit.
However, this doesn't mean the game isn't still going strong. The Enchanted By Nature Expansion Pack is set to sprinkle a bit of fairy dust and offer a new opportunity to become the ultimate plant parent. It'll provide you with the chance to transform into an actual fairy with new aspiration paths, wings, glowing tattoos and the option to bring Gnomes to life. It's a deeper dive into the fantasy aspect of the game, and fans who derive pleasure from marrying Death and playing the role of a benevolent, vengeful god that traps players in swimming pools are going to thoroughly enjoy it.
It's a golden opportunity for players to dive into a new fantasy, despite it being a jam-packed week for game releases – the latest Tony Hawk remakes arrive the day after, along with the start of Marvel Rivals Season 3, and PC gamers will be gearing up for the Prologue Go Wayback July playtest due the following week.
It might seem a tad challenging to fit everything in, but for those devoted to The Sims, there's actually a reward in store if you're keen to grab the Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack close to its release date.
We must hold our horses until its release date before we can get too thrilled, though. So when is the Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack release date? Here's what you need to know.

Fortnite Super Showdown live event – date, new crossovers and what to expect
A new live event is coming for players in the shape of a nasty, tentacled beast in Fortnite Super Showdown, and a couple of familiar faces could yet appear. The Fortnite Super Showdown live event has been unveiled, promising to bring significant upheaval to the island with a major battle and potentially a couple of exciting crossovers. Although it may not have been so immediate in reality, as soon as the Fortnite Blast Off event countdown reached zero, it seemed as though another thrilling live event was on the horizon. To be fair, Fortnite's introduction of a live event just before the Chapter 6 Season 3 end date was unexpected, making the arrival of the new Fortnite Super Showdown live event a pleasant surprise. The new live event comes as the end of the season approaches, offering players a packed Super Battle Pass featuring Superman, who joined the Fantastic Four cosmetics to make the game feel truly embedded in the current superhero pop culture scene. It's been an engaging and immersive period, but there's clearly more in store as new kaiju-grade monsters threaten the island as we approach its next season. So, what exactly can we anticipate from the Fortnite Super Showdown live event? Here's what you need to know. Fortnite Super Showdown live event start date The Fortnite Super Showdown live event is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 2 at 11.30am PDT / 2.30pm EDT / 7.30pm BST. This date and time has already been confirmed by Epic Games, who shared the event's key art on Twitter. The game has confirmed that doors for the event will open half an hour prior to the start, as anticipated. This gives players ample time to log in and prepare for the showdown, which is certainly good news. What can we expect from the Fortnite Super Showdown live event? At present, official details are scant. However, Epic Games has released a tantalising teaser for the event on Twitter. It reveals a shadowy, tentacled monster with glowing yellow eyes on its tendrils, suggesting we'll be battling a kaiju beast, targeting its eyes as weak points. The trailer concludes by revealing the event's location – Demon's Domain – and labels it as a 'story event'. This implies that the event is tied to the current villains, Kor and Mask Maker Daigo, rather than being a standalone occurrence. The origins of this monster remain a mystery, but it's sure to be thrilling to uncover. Fortnite Super Showdown live event crossovers While the Fortnite Super Showdown live event appears to be in a world of its own, there's a high probability that another superhero crossover is on the horizon. As revealed by Fortnite leaker @iFireMonkey at this year's San Diego Comic Con, DC Studios' James Gunn announced that to commemorate the second season of the show, the main character Peacemaker (portrayed by John Cena) will be making an appearance in Fortnite, although no specific date has been disclosed. The super theme of this season is ideal for his debut, but it's possible that the studio might delay until the premiere of Peacemaker Season 2 on Thursday, August 21. As a bonus, though, according to leaker @ShiinaBR, there are also whispers of a Power Rangers crossover coming to the game, which would perfectly complement the upcoming Kaiju battle, adding a touch of tokusatsu thrill to the game. Again, there's no confirmation on when this crossover might occur, but the timing of these rumours is certainly intriguing. As it stands, this is all we know about the Fortnite Super Showdown live event, and from what we've gathered so far, it promises to be a thrilling experience. It's encouraging to know that it won't immediately lead into the season finale, giving us the opportunity to explore and bid farewell to several POIs. You could say it's going to be super. Apologies for the pun.

Battlefield 6 battle royale map leaks alongside new gameplay videos
EA's next instalment in the Battlefield series has been subject to even more leaks, ahead of a multiplayer showcase. Following the reveal of the first trailer last week, EA is finally dishing out concrete details on the next Battlefield title. The sequel has been subject to leaks through private player tests since earlier this year, but we now know it is officially called Battlefield 6. We have some details on the single-player campaign too, which will feature private military company Pax Armata as its antagonist. While we're set to learn more about the multiplayer portion in a showcase on Thursday, July 31, a number of leaks have once again snuck through the cracks ahead of time. The biggest of these is from Battlefield dataminer temporyal, who has created a mock-up of Battlefield 6's battle royale map based on data they've discovered. EA has not actually confirmed a battle royale mode for the shooter, but it's been widely rumoured since last year. The map, supposedly called Lyndon Beach, features nine main points of interest, including a Marina, Lighthouse, Main Street North, Main Street South, Gold Resort, The Valley, South Coast, Fort Lyndon, and The Docks. There are 27 other smaller points of interest listed too, including Angel Beach, The Promenade, Upper Silo, Security Checkpoint, Oil Pumps, and others. The leaker also claims there are 'scattered hints of a metro system' to make traversal easier. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. Here's a recreation of the 🪂 Battle Royale map in Battlefield 6.🏖️ The location appears to be called "Lyndon Beach".🗺️ I've added a few points of interest for context.🚇 There are scattered hints of a metro mode is currently labeled "Battlefield Royale" in-game. — temporyal (@temporyal) July 27, 2025 It's unclear if this will be the full extent of the map. 'I'm just looking at the data,' temporyal replied when asked about the map's size. 'Obviously, I can't speak for the final version, but at some point during development, it looked (or maybe still looks) like this.' The big question is whether the battle royale mode will be part of Battlefield 6 this year or whether it'll be an entirely separate, free-to-play title like Call Of Duty: Warzone. According to Battlefield leaker RivaLxfactor, they've heard from 'two sources' that the free-to-play mode will come out 'months after the base game'. More Trending If that's true, and Battlefield 6 launches as leaks suggest on October 10, 2025, that means the battle royale portion might not come out until 2026. Battlefield 6's battle royale spin-off is reportedly being developed by Ripple Effect, which is one of four studios operating under the 'Battlefield Studios' umbrella. The other three are DICE, Criterion, and Motive, who are all working on Battlefield 6 in different capacities. If you fancy more leaks, several gameplay videos have emerged online over the past few days. These show the impressive destruction effects and vehicular combat in multiplayer, although it's likely they'll be taken down by EA pretty swiftly. EA is set to announce more about Battlefield 6 on Thursday, July 31 at 7.30am BST, which might include details on the planned open beta.
