A delegation from the House of Councillors, led by Speaker Mohamed Ould Errachid, is taking part starting Sunday 01 June, in the 16th Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (EuroLat) in Lima. The EuroLat assembly is meeting at the headquarters of the Peruvian Congress from June 1 to 3, bringing together 150 parliamentarians, including 75 from the European Parliament and 75 from Latin America and the Caribbean. This event is taking place in a geopolitical context that calls for strengthening the strategic bi-regional partnership between the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
