Weeks after knife attack incident, Saif Ali Khan buys new home in..., is he planning to...
A few months ago, Saif Ali Khan made headlines when he was brutally stabbed on the back of his neck in his Bandra residence by the accused Shehzad. Now, months later, Saif has invested in a new property which, as per him, is a 'very safe place.' Recently, Saif bought a luxurious property at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl, Doha, Qatar, and opened up about the same at a press event hosted by Alfardan Group. Revealing what drew him to the island, Saif highlighted that the first and foremost thing was safety. He said his stay felt 'safe' and 'a home away from home.' Sharing his experience living in the property, Saif said, 'Think of a holiday home or a second home. There are a few things I think of. One is that it's not very far away and it's easily accessible. And then the other thing, the most important thing, is that it's very safe and it feels very good to be there.' He further added, 'And the concept of an island within an island is also very luxurious and beautiful, and it's just a really lovely place to live. And the feeling you get when you're there is the important thing, and the views, and the food, and the kind of lifestyle, and the pace of living—these are a few of the things that led to my decision.' Calling the property a home away from home, Saif said, 'I had gone there to do some work, and I was shooting for something, and I stayed at the property, and I thought it was amazing. There was something about the mixture of privacy and luxury that I really liked. And again, it was things like food and the way the menu was curated and various things like this. I mean, literally in a nutshell, it felt like a home away from home, so that made it very easy. The main thing really is that it's peaceful and secluded, if that's the kind of thing you are looking for.' He expressed his eagerness to bring his children—Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan—to his new property. Meanwhile, Saif will next be seen in Netflix's much-anticipated film Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins. The movie also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta in key roles.
