While the 16 Plus focused on a larger screen and battery, the new 17 Air is said to prioritise sleekness, portability, and cutting-edge design. The iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to feature a 5.5 mm thin design, and could become Apple's thinnest iPhone ever. On the front, the iPhone 17 Air could feature a 6.6-inch screen and a 120Hz ProMotion display. Apple is also expected to introduce a new chip for the upcoming iPhones, and the iPhone 17 Air is likely to receive the A19 chip along with 8GB of RAM. However, to achieve the slimmer profile, there could be some compromises; the iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to use a single rear camera with Fusion technology, offering optical-quality zoom. The phone could also come with a smaller battery reportedly featuring a smaller 2,800mAh cell.
