The BMW M3 CS Touring is the German automaker's latest high-powered sports car for the family, packing the same upgrades found on the 2024 M3 CS sedan but with an even more practical longroof body style. That's an extra 20 ponies over the M3 Competition, largely the result of a higher boost pressure for the turbochargers. Torque output remains unchanged compared to the Competition at a healthy 479 pound-feet. Along with extra power, the CS's other distinguishing feature is the extensive use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), which can be found on the hardcore bucket seats. Carbon trim is littered throughout the rest of the cabin too, which is also decorated with red accents. CFRP is also found across the exterior, including the grille, front splitter, rear diffuser, and hood, the latter of which shows off the weave with two exposed stripes. The M3 CS Touring comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. BMW claims the M3 CS Touring will blast from zero to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 186 mph. The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine now produces 543 hp, marking a 20 hp increase over the M3 Competition. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, power is delivered to all four wheels via BMW's xDrive system. This performance machine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 11.7 seconds. With the M Driver's Package, its top speed is 300 km/h (186 mph). Additional upgrades include electronically controlled dampers, a reinforced front strut brace for enhanced rigidity, and high-performance braking options, including carbon-ceramic discs. The exhaust system, featuring adjustable valves and a titanium rear silencer, ensures an aggressive sports car sound. Exterior Enhancements and Weight Reduction BMW has made weight reduction a priority, shaving off 15 kg from the car's overall mass. The carbon fiber components include the hood, front splitter, air intakes, side mirror caps, and rear diffuser, contributing to improved aerodynamics and performance. It also features lightweight M alloy wheels, measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. The kidney grille has been redesigned while maintaining BMW's signature look, now featuring a more open structure with sharper detailing. A subtle yellow tint in the LED daytime running lights emphasizes its track-ready nature, while a newly designed rear wing enhances the car's dynamic presence. Interior and Comfort Features Inside, the 2025 BMW M3 CS Touring is equipped with electronically adjustable, heated M Carbon seats that include illuminated CS badging. The driver is met with an Alcantara-wrapped M steering wheel, adding to the race-inspired cabin ambiance.
