Woodstock man dead following crash in Brant

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Highway 53 west of Burford just before 10 p.m. The crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV. The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old man, has died. OPP did not say if the SUV driver was hurt. Middle Townline Road between Sixth Concession Road and Seventh Concession Road, as well as Highway 53 between Lawrence Road and Harley Road were closed for investigation but have since reopened. OPP have asked anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to call 1-888-310-1122.

Roads reopen after ‘serious collision' in Grey Highlands

Around 10:45 a.m., OPP closed Grey Road 7 between Euphrasia-St. Vincent Townline and Sideroad 25, Grey Road 40 at Old Mail Road, and Grey Road 7 at Sideroad 25. At the time, police said three people were taken to hospital with minor and serious injuries, one of which was airlifted to a London hospital. Cyclist succumbs to injuries after collision

The collision occurred between a cyclist and passenger vehicle on Wednesday at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Shackleton Line between Willey Road and McArthur Street. The injured cyclist was transported to the hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was uninjured. The vehicle driver remained on scene, and police continue to investigate.
