Florida 2026 wide receiver announces when he will officially visit Notre Dame Notre Dame football wants difference makers in its 2026 recruiting class at wide receiver, and they've been doing a great job of casting a wide net to land others to compliment current commitments Dylan Faison and Bubba Frazier. One of those targets is Florida's Brian Williams, a 6-foot, 4-inch and 185-pound underrated prospect. Currently ranked as the nation's No. 748 overall player in the 247Sports Composite, he announced five official visits that he'll make over the next few months. One of them will be to South Bend, Williams' last of this group starting on June 19th. He also taking trips to Penn State, Florida, Alabama and Kentucky, but the Irish have the current advantage of being the last one on his list. Notre Dame has its work cut out for them to land the talented receiver, but they are squarely in the mix for Williams.

Notre Dame football commit shuts down recruitment, won't visit other schools This era of college football has seen plenty of prospects flip their commitments, as Notre Dame football has been on both ends of the spectrum. Fortunately, one of its most recent commitments, Georgia wide receiver Bubba Frazier recently told On3 that he's 'shutting it down,' and won't be entertaining other schools to try and flip him. The biggest player in this decision was the Georgia Bulldogs, as they have been trying to convince the 5-foot, 10-inch and 180-pound receiver to change his mind. That won't be the case going forward, as the nation's No. 292 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite told Mike Singer that he's 'locked in with Notre Dame.' Frazier was seen as an important recruiting win for Notre Dame, going into a Southern state and pulling one of their best. The Irish also have Dylan Faison committed and are heavy after NFL legend Larry Fitzgerald's son, Devin.

Wisconsin football top 2026 wide receiver target commits to a familiar blue-blood Wisconsin top class of 2026 wide receiver target Bubba Frazier committed to Notre Dame on Monday afternoon. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound slot wide receiver chose the Irish over top contenders Wisconsin, North Carolina and Georgia. His offer sheet also includes Auburn, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Arkansas and Virginia Tech. Frazier had scheduled an official visit to Madison for June 6, but his commitment to Notre Dame likely changes those plans. 247Sports currently lists the Savannah, Georgia, native as a four-star recruit, ranked specifically as the No. 373 player in the class of 2026, the No. 58 wide receiver and the No. 46 player from his home state. Rivals also consider Frazier a four-star recruit. During his junior season at Benedictine Military School, Frazier caught 46 passes for 753 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed 85 times for 604 yards and eight touchdowns, bringing his all-purpose total to 1,357 and 13 touchdowns on 131 touches. Here's more from 247Sports national scouting analyst Gabe Brooks on Frazier as a prospect: "Exciting offensive weapon who fits a slot role in the long term, but could also move around for backfield touches in varying personnel explosive linear acceleration with above-average speed-changing nuance. Capable of taking the top off the deep third, but also a fierce run-after-catch threat in the screen/jet/fly game... Frame-limited, but fits the mold of a big-play offensive athlete who naturally suits the slot. Projects to the P4 level as a potential multi-year impact player who could particularly excel in the right system." With the receiver's decision, Wisconsin's class of 2026 ranks No. 39 nationally and No. 10 in the Big Ten. Wisconsin landed three-star class of 2026 quarterback Ryan Hopkins on Sunday, boosting the group from No. 44 to No. 39. UW's class is up to five players - Hopkins, three-star WR Tayshon Bardo, three-star DL Carmelow Reed, three-star CB Carsen Eloms and three-star iOL Benjamin Novak. Frazier's commitment would have been Wisconsin's fourth on the offensive side of the football, plus second in the wide receiver room. The Badgers are still in search of their third straight top-25 finish in the national recruiting rankings after productive 2024 and 2025 outputs. As of April 14, Wisconsin has yet to land a blue-chip recruit, which Frazier qualifies as. That number will need to rise significantly as the summer months near. While Frazier's decision comes as somewhat of a disappointment, Wisconsin will be busy on the recruiting trail over the next four months. The Badgers need a solid 2026 output to stabilize momentum after a busy offseason of personnel and coaching changes. The Irish landed Bubba Frazier, a 5-foot, 10-inch and 175-pound wide receiver from Georgia, its second player at the position in the 2026 class along with Dylan Faison. While on the smaller side of receivers, Frazier most likely will play the slot for the Irish, as the plan will be to get the ball in his hands any way possible. Frazier is ranked as the No. 387 overall recruiting according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, as the Irish beat out Wisconsin and Georgia Tech for his commitment. He's also a track star, so you know that the speed will be brought with him to South Bend. Frazier is now commitment No. 11 for Notre Dame, as they continue to amass impressively talented players.
