Actress Vanessa Kirby reveals pregnancy at Fantastic Four event

And she revealed her pregnancy while attending pop culture festival CCXP 2025 in Mexico City on May 31. The 37-year-old showed off her baby bump while walking the red carpet at a panel event for First Steps, in which she plays Invisible Woman/Sue Storm. The character's pregnancy was revealed in the trailer for the film. Sue Storm is the wife of Mister Fantastic/Reed Richards, played by Chilean-American actor Pedro Pascal. The Fantastic Four: First Steps also stars English actor Joseph Quinn as Human Torch/Johnny Storm – the younger brother of Sue Storm – and American actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing/Ben Grimm. The movie opens in Singapore cinemas on July 24. Kirby was also seen cradling her baby bump in a short promotional video with her three co-stars in a post on Marvel's Instagram page on June 1. The actress is known for playing Britain's Princess Margaret in the Netflix series The Crown (2016 to 2023), and White Widow in the films Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023). Kirby is currently dating retired professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil, 39, who is the president of the United States' Premier Lacrosse League. They were romantically linked in October 2022 when British tabloid Daily Mail published photos of them stepping out together in New York. The couple went public with their relationship in November 2023. Rabil posted a sweet tribute to her and shared a series of photos of them together on Instagram. American celebrity gossip website Page Six reported in December 2024 that the two were engaged after two years of dating. Kirby previously dated English actor Callum Turner, her co-star in the film Queen And Country (2014). Meanwhile, Rabil was previously married to former lacrosse player Kelly Berger between 2014 and 2017 and briefly dated Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez in 2021. Gen V returns to Amazon for season 2 this September
While we're still a ways out from The Boys returning to Amazon for its fifth season, the franchise's spinoff series, Gen V, will be back this fall. At this year's CCXP convention in Mexico, Amazon announced that Gen V is set to return for its second season on September 17th with a three episode premiere. Along with the premiere date news, Amazon also released a new trailer teasing some of the challenges Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), Jordan (London Thor and Derek Luh), are going to be up against as they return for another year of studying at Godolkin University. With the White House now effectively under Homelander's control, Godolkin has become a very different, even more sinister place where a large chunk of the superpowered student body is coming around on the idea that regular humans are inferior beings. That's the message Godolkin's new dean, Cipher (Hamish Linklater) wants his students to take to heart as they learn to wield their powers by participating in what looks like a school-sanctioned fight club. But it's hard for Marie and her friends to see Cipher as anything but an enemy given how the university locked them away for trying to stop Sam (Asa Germann) and Cate (Maddie Phillips) from murdering people without abilities. Though Gen V 's younger character will be the primary focus this season, the trailer also makes clear that the new season will spend more time with Polarity (Sean Patrick Thomas) as he investigates the death of his son Andre (Chance Perdromo, who died in a motorcycle accident last March ahead of the season's production starting.) Suffice to say that things aren't looking great for the Gen V kids, but as dire as the situation is about to get, it looks like they won't be going down without a fight when we see them again this fall.

Vanessa Kirby reveals pregnancy at ‘Fantastic Four' red carpet event
British actress Vanessa Kirby has revealed that she is pregnant during a red carpet event in Mexico City on Saturday. Kirby wore a shimmering blue dress for a panel event on the upcoming movie 'Fantastic Four: First Steps,' in which she plays Sue Storm, cradling her bump as she took part in a photocall at the CCXP Mexico 2025 entertainment convention. The British actress, 37, who also played Princess Margaret in Netflix series 'The Crown' and Josephine Bonaparte in 2023 movie 'Napoleon,' is believed to be dating former professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil. Neither of the pair have publicly commented on the pregnancy. CNN has contacted Kirby's representatives for comment. In November 2023, Rabil posted a series of photos of the couple on Instagram, including a shot of Kirby sitting on his shoulders. 'From the very minute we first met in des moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you,' he wrote in the caption. Kirby plays one of the four main characters in Marvel's latest 'Fantastic Four' title, alongside Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Directed by Matt Shakman, the movie tells the story of how the group defend Earth from a space god named Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson, and the Silver Surfer, portrayed by Julia Garner. The movie is scheduled for release in July.
