Knifeman shot by police outside holiday hotspot airport after lunging at officer

A knifeman who tried to rob a taxi has been shot and killed by police after he lunged at an officer at a holiday hotspot. At around 4.50pm, agents Spain's the National Police had to make use of their firearms after the violent action of an individual who, allegedly, tried to commit a robbery with violence using a knife against a taxi driver in the vicinity of the airport. During the police intervention, the aggressor pounced on the officers with the weapon, forcing them to repel the attack by using their firearms.
