Notre Dame gets key commitment
Notre Dame gets key commitment Carson Towt is set to join the Fighting Irish Notre Dame has gotten a commitment from forward Carson Towt. Towt will be leaving Northern Arizona to join the Fighting Irish. The Gilbert, Arizona native had played at Northern Arizona for four seasons. Towt led the nation in rebounding this year, averaging 12.4 per game. He had 13.3 points per game and 3.4 assists per game last season. He had a bounce-back year last season after not playing due to injury in 2023-2024. Towt stands 5'8" and weighs 235 pounds, and he shot 56.9 from the field last year. POCATELLO, Idaho — Carson Towt totaled 24 points and 12 rebounds to help Northern Arizona defeat Idaho State 82-79 on Monday night in a Big Sky Conference regular-season finale. The Lumberjacks (17-14, 8-10) placed seventh and will play No. 8 Eastern Washington in the first round of the conference tournament on Saturday in Boise, Idaho. Idaho State finishes fourth and has a bye until it plays No. 5 seed Montana State in the quarterfinals on March 10.

Idaho State finishes fourth and will play No. 5 seed Montana State in the third round. Trenton McLaughlin finished with 21 points and five assists for Northern Arizona. Jayden Jackson added 17 points. The Bengals (15-14, 10-8) were led by Dylan Darling's career-high 34 points and six assists. Jake O'Neil had 14 points and seven rebounds.
