Sullivan's Crossing Season 4 Picked Up by The CW

Sullivan's Crossing will continue to have a Stateside home, now that The CW has announced its plan to air Season 4 of the Canadian drama. The decision comes ahead of the Season 3 finale airing tonight on The CW, and some six weeks after Sullivan's Crossing was renewed for a 10-episode fourth season up north, by CTV. More from TVLine Elizabeth Tulloch Regrets Missing Krypto on Superman & Lois: 'I Was So Bummed!' (Watch Interview) Virgin River Renewed for Season 8 at Netflix, Ahead of Season 7 Premiere Murderbot Renewed for Season 2 at Apple TV+ To date, Season 3 has been averaging 453,000 total viewers on The CW (in Live+Same Day), outdrawing its first two Stateside seasons and posting a series high (526K) as recently as May 28. But like many a CW offering, Sullivan's Crossing has enjoyed exponentially greater popularity upon landing on Netflix, where Season 1 last week ranked No. 1 among all English-language TV shows in the United States, and No. 3 globally. Season 4 will hit The CW sometime in 2026. Created for television by Roma Roth and based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Robyn Carr, Sullivan's Crossing stars Morgan Kohan (When Hope Calls), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) and Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls). In Wednesday night's Season 3 finale, 'While everyone prepares for the grand opening of Rob's (Reid Price) new restaurant, Frank watches over Edna (Andrea Menard) as she recovers at home; Cal (Murray) finally makes the decision to confront Maggie (Kohan) with his concerns as Rafe (Dakota Taylor) tries to get Sydney (Lindura) to listen to how he feels; Jacob (Joel Oulette) rushes things with Lola (Amalia Williamson) making her uncomfortable; Sully (Patterson) gets a surprise visitor who helps him realize he needs to take a new direction; and Maggie finally reconciles her head with her heart, just as someone from her past arrives with a shocking revelation.' 'Sullivan's Crossing' Exclusive Clip: Cal Contemplates a Major Decision

'Sullivan's Crossing' Exclusive Clip: Cal Contemplates a Major Decision originally appeared on Parade. Maggie (Morgan Kohan) thought life was going to be so much simpler when she moved to The Crossing, but that couldn't be further from the truth. After she finally decided to put herself first and move in with Cal (Chad Michael Murray), life threw another wrench into their relationship on Sullivan's Crossing Season 3 Episode 8, after Cal found a letter she wrote to a previous boyfriend. 🎬 🎬 The letter highlighted what could eventually become a huge obstacle in their blossoming romance—Maggie's passion for medicine, which she's leaving behind to take over The Crossing and be with Cal. Even before Cal found the letter, in which Maggie informed her former fling that medicine was the only thing that mattered to her, he saw how she lit up when she received a call to assist with a medical case at the nearby hospital. The fallout of Cal finding the letter and the medical case involving Glenn (Dean Armstrong), Sully's (Scott Patterson) archnemesis, who is building luxury houses right next to the Crossing, will further unfold on the July 2 episode titled "Blindsided." The synopsis for the episode reads: "Maggie tries to figure out what's wrong with Glenn as his condition deteriorates and begins to suspect that there may be a connection to the firefighter who collapsed during the renovations at the lodge." In an exclusive clip shared with Parade, Cal contemplates telling Maggie he found the letter, but ultimately decides not to bring it up. As Maggie is "getting a head start on Glenn's files" to figure out what neurological issues may be ailing him, Cal, who is getting ready to go help Rob (Reid Price) at the Lodge, subtly broaches the subject of the letter he found after he knocked over some of her moving boxes. "Everything okay?" Maggie asks, as Cal replies, "I guess I just feel like we haven't been spending that much time together lately." Maggie apologizes as there's "been so much going on lately," and as the duo make plans to meet up for lunch later, he decides not to bring it up after all—at least in this scene, though we're sure it'll come up eventually. Watch the clip below: One of the final few episodes in the season, written by John Callaghan & Rosana Roth and directed by April Mullen, airs July 2 at 8/7c on The CW. 'Sullivan's Crossing' Exclusive Clip: Cal Contemplates a Major Decision first appeared on Parade on Jul 2, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 2, 2025, where it first appeared.

‘Squid Game' Dethroned In Netflix's Top 10 List By An Unusual Show

Squid Game Well, I just wrote that a new, relatively obscure series was going great by debuting at #2 on Netflix's Top 10 list after season 3 of Squid Game, a show it was obviously never going to surpass. Guess what? Squid Game has now been dethroned by Sullivan's Crossing, the Canadian TV show that has three seasons, two of which are on Netflix, which first started airing in 2023. The third season is on right now, but that hasn't made it to Netflix yet. And a fourth season is coming. Here's the synopsis: My doctor wife started watching this yesterday and pointed out about three medical errors in the first five minutes so The Pitt, this is not. But people seem to like it, though there are barely even enough critic or audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes to make heads or tails of its quality. IMDB is probably a better metric, and it has a 7.2/10. In context, that's quite good. I assume it's gotten a full two extra points just for Chad Michael Murray's hair. Squid Game This happens periodically with Netflix, where some very random, licensed show crops up and somehow becomes the most watched program in America for some amount of time. Often these are older, cancelled shows, and sometimes that leads to fanbases attempting to revive them. But this isn't Manifest; Sullivan's Crossing is still going strong. Squid Game? Despite being #2 now, it doesn't matter. Season 3 has soared up the Netflix charts and despite only being released two weeks ago, it's the third most-viewed non-English language season in Netflix history behind, you guessed it, season 2 and season 1 of Squid Game. It will probably pass season 2 eventually, but probably not the viral sensation of season 2. These figures also make season 3 of Squid Game inside the top 10 of all Netflix seasons, currently tied around Bridgerton season 3, and it will likely pass up The Queen's Gambit, Bridgerton season 1 and Dahmer in the coming weeks. Rumors of spin-offs of Squid Game are still swirling, the most likely of which being an American version, but as ever, that has not been confirmed. And to touch briefly on one more list item, I expect to hear about season 2 of The Waterfront in short order here. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. When does 'Sullivan's Crossing' come out on Netflix? Date, cast, more

Fans of "Virgin River" and former teenage heartthrob Chad Michael Murray are in for a treat as the first two seasons of the cozy romantic series "Sullivan's Crossing" arrives on Netflix. The Canadian romantic drama follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) as her "seemingly perfect life in Boston is turned upside down" and she leaves the city and boyfriend Andrew (Allan Hawco) "to return to her childhood home of Sullivan's Crossing, a picturesque Nova Scotia campground owned by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan (Scott Patterson) whom she hasn't seen in years." While in Sullivan's Crossing, Maggie attempts to reconnect with her father and old friends as she spars with "the irritating, yet handsome mysterious stranger who has been helping her father around the campground," Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray). "But coming home isn't easy and it brings up memories and feelings Maggie is not ready to face," CW says about the series. "Sullivan's Crossing" is based on the books by New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr, whose other series "Virgin River" is a Netflix original. Parade reported the show is primarily shot in the oceanside town of Halifax, on the country's east coast. Showrunner Roma Roth told the publication in 2022, prior to its premiere, that the location was a deliberate choice to "ensure the show would feel distinctive" from Carr's other adaptation "Virgin River," which is shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. "I decided to set it in Nova Scotia for Nova Scotia,' Roth told the publication. 'This meant diverging from the books slightly; however, having been born and raised in Canada it's always been a personal goal of mine to create and write a Canadian content show that would reach a global audience.' Carr's book, meanwhile, is set in the Rocky Mountains "at the crossroads of the Colorado and Continental Divide Trails," the book's website says. Is Virgin River real? 'Sullivan's Crossing' Season 3: Chad Michael Murray, Morgan Kohan navigate work-life balance as mysterious illness hits

A big question in Sullivan's Crossing, after Maggie (Morgan Kohan) decided to stay in Nova Scotia, is how not being a practicing doctor would impact her. Now we're seeing her try to balance her personal life, particularly with her boyfriend Cal (Chad Michael Murray) and that professional desire, particularly after she's been asked to consult on Glenn's (Dean Armstrong) medical case. Season 3, Episode 8 starts with Cal almost confronting Maggie about the letter he found in last week's episode, in which Maggie wrote to a former fling about needing to put her career first. But instead, Cal just says that he feels they haven't been spending much time together. While helping Rob (Reid Price) at the lodge (which has now been inspected and cleared to continue renovations), Cal tells him about the letter and that he thinks Maggie misses medicine more than she's letting on. Rob comforts Cal by saying that people's perspectives and priorities can change in life, and Cal shouldn't let that one letter get to him. Meanwhile, Sully is in heartbreak mode. He's trying to call Helen (Kate Vernon), but she's not answering his calls. He's also trying to keep busy at the Crossing, clearly trying to take his mind off of Helen leaving. Maggie finds out that Helen left, through Edna (Andrea Menard), while also telling her dad that she's consulting on Glenn's case at the hospital, Sully's enemy, stressing that Glenn is really sick and that she took an oath to help people. "The Sully I know, he'd never turn his back on anyone," Maggie says. Sully agrees with her, but admits he's "on edge" after Helen left unexpectedly. That's when Maggie gets a cal that Glenn took a turn for the worse, and she goes through his case again. Glenn came to the hospital with a tremor, requesting a prescription for anxiety medication, thinking he had the "yip," an involuntary muscle spasm. But the new piece of information is that he's developed a rash, similar to the firefighter who came to the hospital the other day, who was helping Rob work on the lodge. Now Maggie thinks there may be a connection. When Maggie talks to the firefighter, he tells her about his landscaping job, which he does when he's not at the firehall. He said his stomach's been off and he was tired before going to help Rob, but thought he was just coming down with something. Maggie has a breakthrough when Jacob (Joel Oulette) shares that the lichen samples he collected show signs of contamination with heavy metals, particularly arsenic, found in things like pesticides used in landscaping. It turns out that the firefighter works for the landscaping company Glenn uses at the golf course, and they were trying to use up pesticides that had recently been banned. Glenn had a particularly high exposure, because he lives and works there. Now that Glenn has answers, being in the hospital alone made him realize that he's been trying to prove his worth to a father who's never been there for him. "I hoped that if I made enough money that eventually he would take notice," Glenn tells Maggie. "But he didn't even bother to return the hospital's calls." At Maggie's request, Sully goes to the hospital to see Glenn and there's a truce. Glenn apologizes to Sully and says he wants to make things right. Glenn has stopped construction on his new development, wanting to make it a conservation area. But there's one catch, Glenn wants Sully to be the one who looks after it for him. Helen eventually picks up the phone when Sully calls and she tells him that she's been in back-to-back meetings because there's a producer in Ireland who wants to turn her novels into a TV series. And she'll be needed in Dublin for a while. Cal goes to check on Sully, who suggests that Sully go to see Helen in Ireland, but Sully doesn't want to "get in the way of her career." Fans of Sully and Helen will be glad to know that Helen calls Sully back with a big proposal, she asks him to come with her to Ireland. "Maybe it's time for you to let go and start focusing on your future," Helen says, with Sully agreeing to join her. In other relationship updates, some couples are stronger than others. Lola (Amalia Williamson) opens up to Sydney (Lindura) about her first time having sex, and with Jacob specifically. They talk about the "liberating" but "vulnerable" feeling of opening up to someone so intimately. Despite her feelings for him, Lola is being realistic about the fact that Jacob has to go back to Alberta to finish his degree. But Jacob decides that he's going to call his advisor to see if he can finish up his research from Nova Scotia, meaning the couple could be together for much longer. Meanwhile, Sydney and Rafe (Dakota Taylor) talk about the future of their relationship, with Sydney saying she's not interested in getting married. It's very different for Rafe, who believes a marriage license is important, leaving a big question mark about how long this relationship will last. The episode ends with a big dinner, prepared by Edna, with Frank (Tom Jackson), Cal, Maggie, Sully, Lola and Jacob. But suddenly Edna drops a salad bowl and says she can't see. Another Sullivan's Crossing episode that ends with a cliffhanger.
