'Sullivan's Crossing' Exclusive Clip: Cal Contemplates a Major Decision originally appeared on Parade.
Maggie (Morgan Kohan) thought life was going to be so much simpler when she moved to The Crossing, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
After she finally decided to put herself first and move in with Cal (Chad Michael Murray), life threw another wrench into their relationship on Sullivan's Crossing Season 3 Episode 8, after Cal found a letter she wrote to a previous boyfriend.
🎬 🎬
The letter highlighted what could eventually become a huge obstacle in their blossoming romance—Maggie's passion for medicine, which she's leaving behind to take over The Crossing and be with Cal.
Even before Cal found the letter, in which Maggie informed her former fling that medicine was the only thing that mattered to her, he saw how she lit up when she received a call to assist with a medical case at the nearby hospital.
The fallout of Cal finding the letter and the medical case involving Glenn (Dean Armstrong), Sully's (Scott Patterson) archnemesis, who is building luxury houses right next to the Crossing, will further unfold on the July 2 episode titled "Blindsided."
The synopsis for the episode reads: "Maggie tries to figure out what's wrong with Glenn as his condition deteriorates and begins to suspect that there may be a connection to the firefighter who collapsed during the renovations at the lodge."
In an exclusive clip shared with Parade, Cal contemplates telling Maggie he found the letter, but ultimately decides not to bring it up.
As Maggie is "getting a head start on Glenn's files" to figure out what neurological issues may be ailing him, Cal, who is getting ready to go help Rob (Reid Price) at the Lodge, subtly broaches the subject of the letter he found after he knocked over some of her moving boxes.
"Everything okay?" Maggie asks, as Cal replies, "I guess I just feel like we haven't been spending that much time together lately."
Maggie apologizes as there's "been so much going on lately," and as the duo make plans to meet up for lunch later, he decides not to bring it up after all—at least in this scene, though we're sure it'll come up eventually.

One of the final few episodes in the season, written by John Callaghan & Rosana Roth and directed by April Mullen, airs July 2 at 8/7c on The CW.

Eric (John McCook) warned his son that Brooke could slip away from him, once and for all, unless he acts. Eric is firmly in the Team Brooke camp, much to Ridge's frustration. Eric is hoping that the trip will remind his son that his destiny lies with Brooke. Though Ridge continued to insist that he's happily engaged to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), the idea of Brooke running off with Nick certainly gets under his skin. He might not be willing to admit it, but it seems like he's having some second thoughts about leaving Brooke behind. Here's the look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week: In the clip, Eric offers a heartfelt "Salut!" with Ridge and Brooke. They're in Capri, the weather is beautiful and the fashions are amazing. Brooke looks radiant, which is all the more reason for Ridge to be wary. Brooke and Ridge arrive on a boat and are welcomed by Eric, who standing above the dock with a smile on his face. (Eric is a big fan of Brooke and boats, obviously) Nick, in the meantime, looks like he missed the Capri memo. He's not on the island and he's desperate to get access to a boat so he can get there. Did Eric switch the itinerary around so that Nick would be in the wrong place? It certainly looks like it. Brooke takes another spin on the runway and can be seen waving to the adoring crowd while Nick, who suddenly looks pleased with himself, says it's "time for the fun to begin." Clearly, there's some big action coming up in Italy this week as Eric continues to clear a path for Ridge to get back with Brooke while Nick ramps up his pursuit of her. The big question is who will manage to win her affection, and at what cost. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus. Sydney Sweeney Is Facing A Backlash Over Her New American Eagle Campaign. Here's What People Are Saying

Sydney Sweeney's new collaboration with the fashion brand American Eagle has become the centre of a whole lot of debate. The Euphoria star unveiled a new campaign with the American clothing brand last week, to promote their line of denim last week. However, it didn't take long before social media clips to promote the deal sparked a wave of discomfort among many critics, largely due to some of the language that's used in the campaign. This is the story so far… What is Sydney Sweeney's new ad campaign for American Eagle all about? For American Eagle's autumn 2025 campaign, Sydney Sweeney can be seen sporting items from the brand's denim range, including a new pair of jeans inspired by her. The campaign also makes use of the slogan 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans', a pun on the term 'great genes'. In another, she explains: 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour.' 'My jeans are blue,' she then quips, at which point a narrator delivers the line: 'Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.' Why are some people upset about Sydney Sweeney's new ads for American Eagle? Unfortunately this repeated use of the slogan 'great jeans', a pun on 'great genes', has put some viewers in mind of the language used by white supremacists and eugenicists. By centring a blonde, white star in a campaign referencing 'genes', some critics are accusing the brand of tone-deafness at best – particularly in the current political climate – and deliberately pushing a white supremacist agenda at worst. HuffPost UK has contacted representatives for both Sydney Sweeney and American Eagle for comment. Others are pointing out that Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle campaign doesn't mention one other important aspect of the product American Eagle's new 'Sydney Jean' features a butterfly detail on its back pocket, in a nod to domestic violence awareness, a cause which the White Lotus star has championed throughout her career. In fact, an American Eagle press release confirmed that '100% of the purchase price from 'The Sydney Jean' will be donated to Crisis Text Line', a charity in the US which aims to help those affected by domestic violence. However, the ads are also being criticised for not highlighting this key part of the campaign, with some saying its accompanying slogan is even more jarring as a result. Has Sydney Sweeney or American Eagle said anything about the controversy?
