K-pop group Twice will perform twice in Singapore this October
Singapore K-pop fans, get ready to feel all The Feels – beloved girl group Twice has announced the stops for their This Is For world tour, and Singapore is on the list. The group will be performing not just one, but two nights this October, giving Onces the chance to Dance The Night Away. Other cities on the tour include Bangkok, Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong. This marks their return to Singapore after their last performance here in 2023 during the Ready To Be tour. Since debuting in 2015, the nine-member group has skyrocketed to fame with chart-topping hits like TT, What Is Love? and Cheer Up. Their popularity has extended well beyond South Korea, with a massive following across Asia and other parts of the world. Over the years, Twice has also collaborated with international stars such as Coldplay and Megan Thee Stallion. The group is made up of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu – several of whom have also launched successful solo careers. When is Twice performing in Singapore in 2025? Twice will perform in Singapore on October 11 and 12, 2025 as part of their world tour. Twice will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2025. Schools closed, professional sports seasons ended prematurely and many, many concert tours were cancelled. One of those tours belonged to David Lee Roth. To add insult to injury, two days before the novel Coronavirus officially hit North America, Roth wrote 'the tour is really heating up baby' on Instagram. Now, five long years later, the former Van Halen frontman — who unofficially retired in 2021 — is finally returning to the road. From July through September, Roth, 70, will hit arenas, theaters, ballrooms, state fairs and wineries all over North America. That includes stops at Atlantic City's Hard Rock Live on Friday, Aug. 8, Huntington, NY's Paramount Theatre on Sunday, Aug. 10 and Verona, NY's Turning Stone Resort Casino on Friday, Aug. 15. Prior to his run, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer performed for the first time in five years at Columbia, MD's M3 Rock Festival on May 3. The 16-song set was largely comprised of Van Halen hits, including but not limited to 'Panama,' 'Dance The Night Away,' 'Runnin' With The Devil,' 'Hot For Teacher' and 'Jump.' According to Loudwire, he was joined by a 'newly expanded backing band' that included 'guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler, drummer Francis Valentino…a keyboard player…[and] a four-piece group of backing vocalists.' In case you needed any inspiration for Valentine's Day this year (or any reason to feel worse, take your pick), Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are being sickeningly cute right now. The pop star and actor were filmed dancing and twirling eachother around beneath the Eiffel Tower yesterday, with snaps from the moment looking like the cover of a beloved romcom from the early 2000s. And while their engagement is still not confirmed, rumours of the proposal broke during the festive period. Fans of Lipa's were quick to notice a large ring on her engagement finger in a photo the 29-year-singer posted to Instagram on Christmas Day, while sources close to the singer told The Sun that she 'couldn't be happier' to end the year on such a high. It's believed the pair have been dating since at least January 2023, after first being spotted together at a private party for the Steven Spielberg series Masters Of The Air in Los Angeles. In footage obtained by US news outlet TMZ, the 27-year-old 'Dance The Night Away' singer was seen (aptly) slow-dancing with someone who appeared to be Turner. Next, the pair were spied out in public for the first time, leaving a Q&A event for Turner's series in Santa Monica. Born in 1990, Turner, came from a modest background. He grew up with his mother on a council estate in Chelsea near some of the wealthiest streets in London. Turner got his first modelling break at the age of 17 — after the realisation that his dreams of being a footballer may not happen — and almost immediately had the chance to front a Burberry campaign. Turner said: "I got to watch the clothes being constructed as a fitting model, then Kanye West would buy a lot of them and you'd watch it all travelling into the mainstream. It's funny how it works." But it didn't take Turner too long to secure the career in acting, which he had set his sights on in 2011. It was Turner's acting that really awakened international audiences to his charm.
