The Andhra Pradesh government will release the hall tickets for the AP DSC (District Selection Committee) Teacher Recruitment 2025 today, May 30. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website — — using their user ID and password. The AP DSC 2025 exam , which aims to fill various teaching posts across the state, is scheduled to be conducted from June 6 to July 6 at multiple examination centres. Applicants must carry a printed copy of their hall ticket along with a valid photo ID to the exam venue. Entry will not be permitted without these documents. According to official figures, the recruitment drive has attracted an overwhelming response. More than 5.67 lakh applications were received, with 3,53,598 individual candidates applying for one or more teaching categories. The high number suggests that several candidates have opted to apply for multiple posts or subject specialisations. The hall ticket will carry crucial information such as the candidate's name, photograph, signature, exam date and time, venue details, and important instructions. Candidates are advised to verify all details on their admit card carefully. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately reach out to the designated help desk for assistance. The hall ticket will not be sent via post and will only be accessible through the official online portals. Naidu: Free bus travel for women from I-Day
Panyam (Kurnool district): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday promised to fulfil free bus travel for women from Independence Day this year. Addressing a public meeting at Nandyal Checkpost in Kurnool district, the Chief Minister reiterated several promises such as free bus travel to women, 'Annadata Sukhibhava' and 'Talliki Vandanam' to fulfil them soon. "We will give free bus travel facility to women very soon. I am thinking about this. It is the responsibility of this government to arrange free travel in buses for our women from August 15," the Chief Minister said. In the run up to 2024 polls, Naidu made several welfare promises under the banner of 'Super Six', which includes Rs 1,500 monthly aid to every woman in the age bracket of 19 to 59 years, 20 lakh jobs for youth or Rs 3,000 monthly unemployment allowance and free bus travel for women. Other schemes under 'Super Six' are -Rs 15,000 to every school-going child per annum (Talliki Vandanam), three free gas cylinders to every household (Deepam - 2) and Rs 20,000 annual financial assistance to every farmer (Annadata Sukhibhava). Other than partially fulfilling Deepam -2 for FY25 and inking deals worth around Rs 5 lakh crore with a potential to create over four lakh jobs, the TDP-led NDA government is yet to begin implementing most of the 'Super Six' promises. Nearing the completion of his first year in office, Naidu reiterated 'Annadata Sukhibhava' promise, assuring to deliver it in three installments. "This government desires the welfare of farmers. I am assuring farmers that we will give remunerative prices. We will make agriculture profitable," he said. Likewise, he repeated the 'Talliki Vandanam' promise, assuring that it will be fulfilled before schools reopen for the academic year 2025-26. All eligible children would benefit, he said. Further, he promised to directly deposit money in beneficiaries' accounts once in four months for them to avail Deepam-2 when they wish. Similarly, the Chief Minister promised to complete the recruitment of 16,400 teachers under mega DSC (District Selection Committee) before the commencement of the academic year 2025-26. According to the TDP supremo, Andhra Pradesh is the only state in the country to dole out welfare pensions up to Rs 15,000 per month. He highlighted that the NDA government is spending Rs 33,000 crore on welfare pensions. Promising to turn Rayalaseema region into a horticulture hub, Naidu said horticulture acreage will be raised from 18 lakh hectares to 36 lakh hectares in five years' time. Noting that the state will emerge as a green energy hub to serve the needs of the country, Naidu hoped that the completion of Polavaram-Banakacherla irrigation project will be a gamechanger. Meanwhile, Minister for Transport M Ramprasad Reddy thanked Chandrababu Naidu for announcing free travel facility for women. He opined that the decision showed the commitment of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu towards women welfare and added that the facility would pave way for women empowerment.

Govt spends Rs 35K cr on pensions
Nellore: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has said that government is spending around 33,000 crores per year under Social Security Pensions (SSP) providing NTR Barosa Pensions to around 64 lakh people every month in the state. As part of ' Pedhala Sevalo Pension Pampini'(PSPP) programme chiefminister has distributed Widow pension to one Chalam Charla Susmitha at ST colony of Nellore Palem village in Atmakur mandal on Thursday. the occassion the Chandrababu Naidu said that it was late chiefminister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao has introduced the pensions Rs 35 first of its kind in the state. He said that now it was hiked up to Rs 4,000, Rs 6,000 to disable, Rs 10,000 Dialysis patients, Rs 15000 to bedridden patients as per the assurance given to the people his electioneering during 2024 elections. On this occassion chiefminister has assured Chalamcherla Susmitha providing free coaching for District Selection Committee (DSC) examinations. Endowment Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakara Reddy, Collector O. Anand and others were present. Minimum qualifying marks for A.P. Mega DSC exam revised
The Andhra Pradesh government has issued a fresh order, making certain amendments to the earlier ones released on April 19 regarding the conduct of the Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) recruitment examination. In a statement, Director of School Education, V. Vijay Rama Raju, said as per the amendment, the minimum qualifying marks for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Persons with Disabilities in language and non-language subjects under the School Assistant category have been revised from 45% to 40%, in line with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) eligibility criteria. These revised qualifying marks will also apply to the candidates under the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) category for both language and non-language subjects. Uploading certificates optional The process of uploading certificates during submission of applications has now been made optional, providing flexibility to the candidates, he said. However, the candidates must compulsorily possess the required educational qualifications. The orders state that original certificates must be submitted by the candidates during the certificate verification process, he added.
