TTD Announces Divya Darshan Tokens to be Released at Bhudevi Complex
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that the Bhudevi Complex, located near Alipiri, will begin issuing tokens for devotees walking along the Srivari Mettu route. Tokens will be made available from 5 pm on the 6th of this month. Previously, devotees would collect tokens near the first step of the route and scan them at the 1,200th step, which proved to be cumbersome. In response to these challenges, officials have decided to set up permanent counters at Srinivasa Mangapuram to facilitate the issuance of Divya Darshan tokens. Until those counters are operational, tokens will continue to be issued at the Bhudevi Complex. The complex will feature a total of 10 counters, comprising 4 for Divya Darshan tokens and 6 for timed Sarva Darshan tokens. Devotees will initially be allowed into the sheds at the Balaji Bus Stand premises and will be organised into queue lines to streamline the token collection process.

TTD Announces Temporary Shift of Divya Darshan Token Counters
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a significant change for devotees seeking the Tirumala Venkanna Darshan. In a recent decision, TTD will temporarily relocate the Divya Darshan token issuance counters from Srivarimettu to the Bhudevi Complex in Alipiri. This new arrangement will take effect from Friday evening. TTD Executive Officer, Sri J. Shyamala Rao, conducted a virtual review meeting with TTD officials on Tuesday evening to discuss the changes. Traditionally, Divya Darshan tokens for pilgrims undertaking the Srivari Mettu route on foot have been issued at Srivarimettu. However, under the new directive, dedicated counters at the Alipiri Bhudevi Complex will handle token distribution for these devotees. The issuance process will begin on Friday evening, 6th of the month, and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Devotees are required to present their Aadhaar identification to obtain the Divya Darshan tokens, which will then need to be scanned at the 1200th step of Srivari Mettu. Tokens issued on Friday evening will be valid for the following day's darshan. Additionally, the TTD has confirmed that Special Darshan (SSD) tokens will also be available at the Alipiri Bhudevi Complex counters. In light of the expected influx of devotees, the Executive Officer has instructed TTD Vigilance, Security, and local District Police to coordinate measures to ensure safety and manage traffic effectively. A team of officers will be designated to oversee the smooth token issuance process at the new location, ensuring a hassle-free environment for all devotees. To facilitate the transition, TTD will actively publicise the temporary shift of the token counters. Engineering officers have been tasked with creating efficient queue lines for the convenience of pilgrims, while department heads have been urged to maintain high standards of food offerings and cleanliness. The services of Srivari Sevakula volunteers will also be leveraged to assist during this period.

TTD temporarily shifts Divya Darshan token counters to Bhudevi Complex at Alipiri
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced temporary relocation of the Divya Darshan token counters, which are made available at the Srivari Mettu for the devotees who trek to Tirumala. In view of the crowd management and logistical requirements, the counters will be moved to the Bhudevi Complex at Alipiri. The new arrangement will come into effect from Friday evening. TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao reviewed the decision during a virtual meeting with the officials on Tuesday. The new counters at the Bhudevi Complex would issue the Divya Darshan tokens to the pilgrims who prefer to trek to Tirumala via the Srivari Mettu footpath. Tokens would be distributed on the first come, first-served basis and subject to availability, starting from the evening of June 6 (Friday). Devotees who obtain the tokens must present their Aadhaar cards and scan them at the 1,200th step on the Srivari Mettu route to validate their eligibility. Tokens issued on Friday evening would correspond to darshan slots on Saturday. Simultaneously, the SSD (Sarva Darshan) tokens would also be made available at the designated counters in the Alipiri Bhudevi Complex. To ensure smooth operation and address safety and traffic-related challenges, Mr. Rao directed the Vigilance and Security departments, along with the district police, to take precautionary measures in advance. A dedicated team of officers would be stationed at the Bhudevi Complex to oversee token issuance and ensure that the counters operate efficiently. Clear communication and widespread publicity about the temporary shift in token distribution had also been emphasised to avoid confusion among the devotees. TTD engineering officials had been instructed to establish robust queue systems to manage crowds effectively, and arrangements were being made to provide annaprasadam (free meal) and maintain hygiene. Mr. Rao also called for active involvement of the Srivari Sevaks (volunteers) to support the initiative. Among those present at the meeting were TTD Additional Executive Officer C.H. Venkayya Chowdary, Tirupati JEO V. Veerabrahmam, and in-charge CV&SO of TTD and Tirupati District SP V. Harshavardhan Raju.
