Projected draft pick Mouhamed Faye registers massive wingspan at adidas Eurocamp

Projected draft pick Mouhamed Faye registers massive wingspan at adidas Eurocamp Senegalese center Mouhamed Faye emerged as one of the top performers across multiple competitions this week at the 2025 adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy. Faye was named to the All-Tournament Team, averaging seven points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in three scrimmages at the annual scouting event, featuring players from across the world. He recorded 13 points, 11 rebounds and one block in his debut on Sunday. The 20-year-old also measured well in the anthropometric testing conducted, registering a 7-foot, 4 1/4-inch wingspan, according to Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress. Faye averaged nine points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks on 65.3% shooting from the field in 47 games across all league competitions with Reggio Emilia this past season. He scored in double figures 21 times, including a season-high 20 points and nine rebounds on Feb. 1. He is considered a potential second-round pick this year, given his scoring ability down low and rim protection. He can rebound at a high level and clean up the offensive glass with his energy and high motor, averaging 2.4 boards on that end of the court. Faye is expected to travel to the United States following the adidas Eurocamp. He will have the chance to improve his stock in team workouts and interviews, with three weeks remaining until the draft.

Former Wisconsin basketball star impresses in key NBA draft combine statistic

Tonje, who delivered a historic 2024-25 season leading the Badgers, displayed the efficiency that Wisconsin fans became accustomed to during his tenure in Madison. The North Omaha, Nebraska, native finished the first day of the event having made 72% of his shots, ranked fifth-best of all participants. Only Alabama's Mark Sears, Tennessee's Chaz Lanier, Gonzaga's Ryan Nembhard and Memphis' PJ Haggerty accumulated a more efficient shooting percentage during the first day of action. Notably, Tonje was one of eight players to shoot at least 70% during the first day of drills, per ESPN NBA draft analyst Jonathan Givony. While reflective of only the combine's first day, the mark could prove noteworthy for Tonje's draft stock. The 2025 Naismith Player of the Year Semifinalist was recently projected to fall to No. 47 to the Milwaukee Bucks. An impressive performance at the combine could certainly alter his position on draft boards ahead of the June 25 event. Tonje's ceiling makes him an appealing second-round prospect, and his ability to impact the game from both inside and beyond the arc could transfer to the NBA level. Tonje's most likely route to a regular roster spot would be to become a reliable two-way bench asset, a luxury for any team in the draft's second round. The UW star averaged just under 20 points per appearance in 2024-25 while shooting 46.5% from the floor, 38.8% from outside and 90.9% from the foul line. A 37-point outing against BYU in the NCAA Tournament, 32-point performance against Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament and 41-tally performance against Arizona in November showcased his offensive capabilities, something scouts may look towards when evaluating his position as a professional. Tonje's status in the combine will be something to monitor throughout the coming days. While projected lottery picks may not have much to prove, players in Tonje's bubble can still bolster their standing. Fans Convinced One WNBA Rookie Is Better Than Paige Bueckers

With the 2025 WNBA draft wrapped up, the conversation has now shifted to which rookie will dominate and emerge as the best in the upcoming season. Of course, the current favorite is Paige Bueckers, who went No. 1 overall to the Dallas Wings. For some fans, however, the second pick of the draft has a legitimate chance to come out as a better player. Advertisement In a video shared by Draft Express on Instagram, Dominique Malonga — the Seattle Storm's No. 2 pick — was seen practicing her game in New York. The 19-year-old effortlessly made a couple of dunks and proceeded to drain several shots from beyond the arc. Along with being touted as the female version of Victor Wembanyama, several fans also shared their belief that Malonga could just be the best player in the draft. She led the Huskies to their first title in nine years and the program's 12th overall. Meanwhile, Dominique Malonga has shown her versatility, length and explosiveness at the pro level in France. During the 2024-25 season with French club Lyon ASVEL Feminin, she averaged a double-double of 15.4 points and 10.3 rebounds, all while shooting 53.8 percent from the field. The first matchup between Bueckers and Malonga is set for June 3 in Seattle. Related: Fans Are Praising Paige Bueckers For What She Did During WNBA Draft
