Where Florida ranks in ESPN's final 2025 men's NCAA basketball recruiting class rankings

The final commitments for the 2025 men's college basketball recruiting class are now officially signed, which allows those who have been tracking the progress of high school hoops stars to the collegiate level to finalize their rankings. Among those who recently put the final touches on their opinions of the current cycle is ESPN's basketball recruiting insider Jeff Borzello, who published his final 2025 men's NCAA basketball recruiting class rankings on Memorial Day. Among those listed were the Florida Gators, who came in at No. 22 after falling four spots from the previous update. "The Gators have two ESPN 100 prospects, both from the state of Florida. Ingram is an incredibly intriguing player. He's the son of former NFL tight end Cornelius Ingram and made waves on the Nike EYBL circuit with his explosiveness and highlight-reel ability in transition," Borzello offers. "Alexander Lloyd (No. 36) isn't far behind Ingram in the rankings; Lloyd can play either guard position and score in a variety of ways." BYU Basketball snags five-star guard out of transfer portal

BYU men's basketball snagged a highly regarded transfer on Monday morning. Baylor guard Robert Wright III made it official and announced he would be Provo bound next season. The five-star floor general will be paired with the nation's top wing AJ Dybantsa and four-star rim runner Xavion Staton from Utah Prep. At 6-foot-1, the All-Big 12 honorable mention averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 assists per game while shooting 41.4% from the field and 34.2% from beyond the arc in 35 games last year in Waco. Wright is considered one of the top point guards in the portal and could be a steal for the Cougars roster in 2025-26. He's only a year removed from being rated the No. 24 recruit in the ESPN 100. "He is the ultimate floor general and makes everyone around him better. We look forward to getting Rob on campus and getting to work." Related: Texas Tech star Darrion Williams eyes BYU This comes at a time when BYU's leading scorer, Richie Saunders, has not announced his intentions for next season. There is still chatter if the 'Tater Tot King' will test the NBA waters like Egor Demin, but he'll likely return for his final season of eligibility. Wright will have three years of eligibility left at BYU.

Where Wisconsin basketball signee Zach Kinziger ranks in latest ESPN100 for class of 2025

Where Wisconsin basketball signee Zach Kinziger ranks in latest ESPN100 for class of 2025 Wisconsin basketball class of 2025 signee Zach Kinziger now sits at No. 73 in the latest ESPN100 rankings. Headlined by star recruits A.J. Dybantsa (BYU), Darryn Peterson (Kansas) and Cameron Boozer (Duke), the ESPN100 ranks the top players in the nation. Kinziger, who held the No. 71 spot in late January, fell two spots in Paul Biancardi's final installation of the player hierarchy. Kinziger signed his letter of intent with the Badgers back on Nov. 13. He is fresh off being named the Fox River Classic Conference Player of the Year and a member of the First-Team All-Conference and All-Defensive teams for his contributions throughout the 2024-25 season at De Pere High School. With Kinziger at the helm, the Redbirds went 26-2 (18-0 in-conference) during the recent season, including a 23-game win streak dating back to Dec. 21, 2024. In 26 games, the star guard averaged 24.4 points on 51.0% shooting from the field and 36.2% from deep. He also registered 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 30.9 minutes per appearance. Those tallies follow a junior season during which Kinziger was responsible for 19.9 points on 49.9% shooting from the field and 42.5% from beyond the arc. 247Sports lists the four-star shooting guard as the No. 88 overall player in the class of 2025, the No. 13 at his position and the No. 3 recruit from the state of Wisconsin. He headlines a Badgers class of 2025 that also features three-star center Will Garlock and international shooting guard Hayden Jones (New Zealand). Wisconsin has also secured transfer commitments from former Portland forward Austin Rapp, San Diego State guard Nick Boyd and Virginia guard Andrew Rhode. With the departures of star John Tonje, starters Steven Crowl and Max Klesmit, and role players Kamari McGee and Carter Gilmore, all three transfer additions should make an instant impact during the 2025 slate. Kinziger may not see many minutes this fall, but his development in UW's pipeline is one to monitor. His size and scoring ability make him an interesting prospect at his position. The Badgers should prioritize his future with the program.
